The Loan Story was recommended to me by my realtor for my first home purchase, a daunting task for someone who has no experience with the market. I shopped around for rates and pre-approval from several lenders including America's top-rated broker service as well as my own personal credit union (names redacted), but no one could beat the rates and lending amounts that were guaranteed by the Loan Story. My favorite part of the experience was during the pro-approval process - I was expecting a large pay raise which was not yet reflected in my pay stub during the pre-approval process. Nevertheless, Esther was able to project the loan amount based simply on a letter from my firm reflecting my new salary. In addition, Esther also anticipated the Federal Reserve interest rate cuts and incorporated this into my pre-approval interest rate - even before it was announced! Such quality of service and attention to detail helped me to secure the best rate that I could find in the market. Finally, when crunch-time came for final approval and funding, I was worried about timing and turnaround. Although Esther was my main point-of-contact at the Loan Story, when she needed to take care of some personal matters her mother (Ruby) stepped in and was completely caught up with my application before even talking to me on the phone. This surprised me because I am used to the bureaucracy of big businesses, where a customer often has to answer the same question multiple times upon talking to different people. I would also like to mention how professional their Pipeline Manager Paul was - I had a lot of questions as a first-time homebuyer and he was patient and attentive to all my needs.
