They are currently restoring a Phantom II to flight. This is the only privately owned Phantom in the USA (Collings Foundation leases their from the US Govt). Its approx 95% done. Theirs is the 11th one produced and is also considered an F4H-1 Phantom II. In addition they have a OH-58 Kiowa that is flyable and a Desert Storm Veteran and a UH-1B Huey that saw time in Vietnam. They also do restorations and have to other static helicopters. Suggestion is to call ahead but they are normally open during the week. If your a Phantom Phan or love Hueys this is a must visit if your in the Temecula area.

I came with a 7 year old and a 3 year old and while it was great for the 7 year old, it was a little beyond the 3 year old, although she still enjoyed looking (and touching!). Wings and rotors is a non profit so that means no admittance fee, but there is a donation area to help with costs associated with running the museum. They also run stem workshops for kids 7 to 14. Definitely give wings and rotors a visit if you and/or your kids like planes and helicopters.

I first stopped in here to see what sports programs they have for my 4 year old. I came in after…read moreschool and it was pretty wild. Kids were all over the place and there was once "adult". She was busy on the phone and I had to wait for a few minutes just to get some info for sports. While waiting I was surprised by the kid's behavior. They were running around, cussing, and some were outside in the front unattended to. I don't know if this the normal for this place but I know that I would never in a million years sign my kids up for their after school program. I am signing my kids up for some sports programs but I will be there with them. Hopefully they are more organized then when I stopped in. I will definitely update my review after we do a program. BTW, they have a lot of really cool (hopefully) programs for kids of all ages. If baseball goes well I will definitely sign all the kids up for something.

We brought wrap around services back in, and while schools were closed/remote, we managed him at home with some psych admissions to Del Amo, with in person return to Switzer Learning Center, but transitioned him to a full public school for the last two years of high school where he graduated with high honors and Dean's List. Goodwill said to come here to drop off mattresses... WHEN YOU ARRIVE you have to drive around the cones and wait at the STOP SIGN until the car in front of you has has been helped... SUNDAY AFTERNOON: There was only one car in front of us! When it was our turn: a young man said WE DON'T ACCEPT MATTRESSES. It was a foldable TWIN MATTRESS. It seemed like he just wanted us to not donate anything here. Another older guy came out to confirm the same thing. I asked if they accept pillows and blankets and they said YES! I'm not sure if it's because it's TEMECULA but, I recall going to another Salvation Army in Pasadena and the people there were really friendly and welcoming! Mostly seniors or veterans... DONATE AT YOUR OWN RISK FOLKS!!! Just think of the greater good you're doing!!!!

Women's clothes, men's clothes, children's clothes, shoes, handbags, accessories and the like. There is also a small home goods section, with lots of knickknacks and frames and things like that. We found a foster for him and immediately Sandra was setting traps and trying to humanely catch him. She was so kind and compassionate for these dogs and had a heart of gold. She was in contact with us everyday while she was trying to locate and catch our dog. The world would be a better place if there were more people like her!!! i would give this rescue 10 stars if i could.
