What can I say?? Excellent, high-quality food served in a very comfy, cozy atmosphere. We loved our big booth with cushions. The coffee was perfect. Like all the best coffee places, they had heavy whipping cream available behind the counter. Very clean restroom, large portions, prices in line with similar places, very friendly and accommodating staff. I'm not much for avocado toast but my wife LOVED hers, which looked spectacular. She could only finish half, after the unbeatable chocolate croissant . For my part, I had a great breakfast burrito with pulled pork, and a blueberry-lemon scone to start. Wish I had pastry pictures, but they were gone shortly after we sat down. Had the scone warmed up which was perfection. So comfortable inside we didn't want to leave. I stumbled upon this place on accident...I'd just eaten breakfast but was en route to Sacramento from up the hill when I was craving a coffee. I did a search for coffee shops and landed on this place. It was a little bit off the beaten path but I figured it may be worth a try from all the 5 star reviews...boy was i glad I did! There was a bit of a line and a crowd when my son and I arrived (a good sign indeed), but there were a few ladies behind the counter and they moved through the line pretty quickly. The lady who greeted us was SO warm and welcoming and was so kind to my little boy! I ordered a blackberry latte from their large selection of flavors, a gluten free strawberry chocolate chip scones and a gluten free cookie for my son (which he gobbled up). The young ladies who made my latte were also so very sweet and engaged in conversation with me as I waited! The coffee was EXCELLENT...nice and bold and not burnt tasting and I was still able to taste the flavor my my latte. My scone was so decadent and delicious...it actually gave North Fork a little bit of competition. I will absolutely be back to hang out and enjoy the cozy ambience when I have a little more time and try some more food! Until next time Local Cafe! read more

Love this place, just down the road a bit from my home and has a very homey feel to it. Even though I could literally just make myself breakfast and coffee at home, it's nice to just come here on occasion. Workers there are very nice and provide good service. Food here is great and the cafe has a nice vibe, I'm glad it got added to this little town. read more

We visit this place on occasional Sunday mornings. We get coffe and a pastry at our walks at a nearby park. The coffee is tasty. There is a good assortment of tasty home-baked(?) pastries. There is indoor and outdoor seating. This is a wonderful place in our little community. read more

My husband and I have been coming to The Local for years. Have been pleased with their food and friendless very enjoyable place to relax and have a meal. Unfortunately, the ambiance has changed the music playing in the public area can clash with the music playing in the kitchen. It can been annoying at times. read more

We had never eaten at The Local Cafe but it was well recommended by friends. Wow! Were we surprised how good it was!! Even though you order at the counter, the ambiance of the restaurant is just beautiful. There is comfortable furniture and tables inside, and two large decks. It was a warm day, so we ate outside. It would be great stop just for their well-made espresso drinks and baked goods, but their lunch menu enticed us. I had the avocado toast with a sliced hard-boiled egg, olive oil, micro greens, lemon juice, bacon, on a thick slice of Baker and the Cakemaker seeded wheat french bread, a whole lot of perfectly fresh avocado, comes with a side of coleslaw, all served on pretty pottery plates. The BEST! In addition, an iced North Fork Chai. My husband had the pulled pork on a toasted bagel with homemade pickles and coleslaw. Generous portions for a hungry guy and he really liked it. For dessert we got some of their amazing cookies to take home. These are the best cookies in our area, bar none. We got a white chocolate chip lemon cookie, a chocolate chip coconut oatmeal cookie, and an almond pastry. MMmmmm. We highly recommend The Local Cafe! It was EXCELLENT! read more

Our local hometown Cafe and such a charming space. Great coffee and pastries. Good portions for lunch as well. Love the people and service...always on point. Always a friendly smile and I enjoy the daily puzzle at the counter. The space is cozy and well appointed. The patio is nicely shaded with lots of room. Wonderful spot to work for a few hours (yes, they have free wifi) or to hang out with friends or family. Lounge area has games and a little free library - bring a book to swap out for a new one! Have enjoyed lattes, frittatas, salads and our kids enjoyed the pastries!! Relaxed, yet comfortable vibe -- many different seating options! I've lived in Meadow Vista often on for the last four years . When that day came that I saw A Local Cafe Cooming soon..... I HONESTLY WASNT EXCEPTING THIS PLACE TO BE SO PERFECT IN ALMOST Every way. Food, service and of course coffee . I saw that this place was opening up. So today was my second time. I decided to review because the kindness today help me get through my day. Since covid its hard to find local places that make you feel welcome. I was really excited even though I normally only get Americano or the drip coffee honestly this place it's so good the first time I went I just got drip coffee in the coffee stayed hot for over and hour. Compared to anyother coffee shop even starbucks you are lucky if it stays hot for more then 20 minuets. The coffee from here for a regular drip coffee stayed hot for more than an hour. (good to go cups) The emoloyess are nice and sweet. nowadays it's hard to find a local place that has a good atmosphere since Covid it's been very hard. I came in a little bit before closing in they were not irritated which is always nice to feel welcome when you know that our place is closing soon. The girls were really sweet and informative about the new syrups. I have never tried a lavender Americano before I normally just get a drip coffee is black but today I really needed it and was having a really hard day so I decided to try some thing new and it was better than I expected. If you are ever driving by Meadow Vista/Clipper gap coming from a long weekend in Reno or Tahoe or anywhere and see the Exit I80 and want a good coffee shop that offers so much more take the exit meadow vista and drive all the way and its on you left Its is exactly what it is. Visited this amazing delicious coffee shop over the holidays for the first time. The staff are so nice. Food and coffee are delicious. Atmosphere is quiet and relaxing for a chat with a friend or to read a book. There are games available for kids. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Wow, just wow! Ok, so we were out driving around and we were both starving. I am used to eating at more upper end type places and didn't trust this place for a lunch and let my husband order a sandwich and I just got a croissant. Boy was I wrong. My husband ordered homemade soup too and loved it and then got a turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich and he raved about it and the bread was great! I took a bite of the croissant and told him it tasted like it was made in France (we have both been there and eaten many croissants). I reluctantly gave him a piece (I wanted it all to myself) and he said " it does taste like it came from there and YUM). It was so good I went up and ordered a chocolate one. I asked the girl behind the counter where they got them from and she said " France" so I was right! I've been craving one ever since and we'll be back for more! This place has all the charm of the small town atmosphere being friendly and relaxed. My husband and I stopped for breakfast and coffee which was perfect. My avocado toast had all the fixings with mixed olive tapenade, lemon, micro greens and olive oil layered in with the avocado. It was placed on the best fresh bakery bread which a delight to my palate. My husband had a breakfast burrito which was sausage, egg and cheese layed in a crispy tortilla. Wow this place is special. Coffee and food is awesome and much better than what you would expect from a coffee place. Located in Meadow Vista and worth the drive. It is so nice to have a comfortable place to hang out, meet with friends and have such wonderful food and drinks. From the entrance, it's in the front left corner of the store. DB was founded in 1992 in Grants Pass, Oregon, by Dane and Travis Boersma. Today, there are almost 1,200 Dutch Bros Coffee locations that span across 25 states in the United States! I pulled into the drive thru and was greeted by a cool batista with tats. I ordered myself a medium iced extra sweet caramelizer. I was not going to add the salted caramel soft top, but then he asked and I couldn't help myself. It's only $1 extra (whip cream is free to add on). Great upsell on his part! After talking about tattoos and where we go and what we are getting next, I pulled forward where I was greeted again. They repeated my order to me and it was ready lickity-split! Normally, I don't take a straw, but it was there when she handed it off to me. I'll take it and give it to my client. We were greeted by Amanda who was kind and personable. Actually, she was amazing. We ordered our drinks and stayed and chatted with her for a bit. The other employee, a tall girl made our drinks and they tasted so good. She wasn't all too friendly but maybe she just doesn't interact with customers, so I get it. We will definitely be returning to this shop because we do not go to the "other" coffee shop, which is part of a huge chain. We prefer local shops where the employees are kind.

It makes for a wonderful shopping trip if you start here. Bathrooms are conveniently located just beyond Starbucks. I do think the lighting could be brighter. This starbucks offers creative coffee drinks, teas, and a few good choices for a quick small lunch or snack. Today, we got a simple Mocha Frappuccino, Chai Tea, and a Turkey Egg White sandwich. I didn't eat but my significant other did and said it was delicious. Anyone that works here has always been very pleasant. They smile, have great attitudes, make great conversations, and make delicious drinks. There is a very small area just behind the merchandise to sit and enjoy your beverage... unless you put your creative coffee concoction in the cup holder of the shopping cart.

He came at one pm. On way, even in a Safeway store, we stopped at this of Starbucks! They able, even at a Safeway Starbucks and I know regular Starbucks locations able to do! I received a Starbucks gift card for my birthday 2022! I asked if possible to transfer that amount to my registered Starbucks gift card! Yes, they were able to indeed do that! He gets banana nut loaf, I get pineapple refresher, $3.45 for second Adult size! Yes of course, wrote my usual Letter Of Compliment then and there! It is to me, the Tiger, always good write Letters Of Compliment! They do brighten the day, the night, for that company, that organization, the volunteers, the employees!
