At this location, they nail that creamy chocolatie-ness with that cawfee flava and bam!!! A baby is made... introducing Dutch Bros Coffee!! Some history on how it so started... DB was founded in 1992 in Grants Pass, Oregon, by Dane and Travis Boersma. Today, there are almost 1,200 Dutch Bros Coffee locations that span across 25 states in the United States! I pulled into the drive thru and was greeted by a cool batista with tats. I ordered myself a medium iced extra sweet caramelizer. I was not going to add the salted caramel soft top, but then he asked and I couldn't help myself. It's only $1 extra (whip cream is free to add on). Great upsell on his part! After talking about tattoos and where we go and what we are getting next, I pulled forward where I was greeted again. They repeated my order to me and it was ready lickity-split! Normally, I don't take a straw, but it was there when she handed it off to me. I'll take it and give it to my client. Had the worst customer service experience here. I get the fact that Dutch Bros employees are usually young girls but they need to be trained in professionalism and customer service. I only recently started go to Dutch bros because my teens like their drinks and would spend a minimum of $30 a time. No longer. The order girl named Athena visited with her friends in the car before me for a full five minutes before taking their order. My window was open and I heard every word. She was leaning in the window and grabbing their hands and laughing and joking. For five minutes! When I complained to her she lied and said "I was just taking their order". So when I got up to the window I asked for the manager or owners contact info. I mean if my employee did that I would be very upset. I was told I couldn't have that info by the teen supervisor named Pearl. Long story short... back to the professionalism and great customer service at Starbucks! read more

The drive thru here is smaller then any other locations I have been to. Workers here are nice and friendly. They have one of the workers with a tablet taking orders which made the the drinks come out faster. I wish they have more in the Bay Area. I would totally go here versus Starbucks. Today I ordered a protein coffee at the window. 3 girls were working there. One girl took my card and didn't give it back right away, she set it on the machine. So,I suspected she'd forget to give it back and she just let it set there and walked away. She gave me my drink and turns back around and didn't give me my card. I said excuse me 4 times! I had to put my hand up to my mouth and literally yell at the top of my lungs EXCUSE ME!!!!!! 3 more times and they finally turned around and I said can I please have my card back and she just goes oh and hands it to me, no apology or anything. I love the drinks here. I usually switch it up quite often. If it is cold i will order the hot cocoa. The hot cocoa is so delicious and chocolatey. During the summer i get the paris tea or a dutch frost. I usually mix up the frost and have tried many different items on the menu. I haven't really found anything i didn't like. If you get their card the eleventh drink is FREE! When you use on of your filled dutch card you can get anything!! If you are ordering multiple drinks they use your card on the most priced drink to save you money. It is so awesome. The people working are always so nice and work their best to get drinks out fast even on hot days. On the first of the month they have stickers they give away. These are hard to come by they usually run out fast. Also on the first of the month they put out their special monthly drinks that are usually that months theme. Have been going to Dutch Bros now for a while,hoping things will get better. Total drinks were ordered were 3 , same drinks yet each order only got worse . Today was totally unacceptable, the lines have been at least 5 to 6 cars deep,one side is open for service, the person taking the order has no concept of having the cars move up,then when paying at least $8.00 for a drink and ask for lite ice your drink is not even filled to the top really. A comment was made between the workers when asked to put the rest of the ice in the cup, if you choose to talk about a customer do it once they leave or close your window. Then you are asked once you have your drinks would you like straws,really how else are you to drink your drink while driving. Asked from extra thick and it's runny , and not from the heat this morning. I will drive the extra miles to go to the other Dutch Bros , strange... not a problem with lite ice drink and is full not to the top not 3/4 full. I am totally disappointed in the service and why is it that you can only have one side open through a very busy time in the morning. Yet there were several workers outside, walking around. We were in bumper-to-bumper traffic without a Starbucks in sight; sure there was many Starbucks but they all seemed to wrong side of the road and not worth a U-turn. A Dutch Bros hut was a beacon of caffeine that was needed to continue on our quest to get to Sacramento in time for happy hour. It was an easy on-off road situation. The coffee was good and extremely budget friendly. The service was friendly. They even offered a punch card and informed me there's a Dutch Bros in Carson City NV. I didn't have the heart to say I don't get there often so I took the card and thanked them. LOVED the RETRO Dutch graphics on the cups! They'll often ask what you're up to today and seem genuinely personable and relaxed, not forced. I love their blended Rebels, specifically the Blended Pomegranate. My wife gets the various frozen coffee drinks. Ask them what they suggest, there's plenty that's not on the menu. Prices are relatively reasonable, more so than Starbucks. Also, with a punch card you get a free drink after only 10 drinks, and that's 10 drinks, not purchases, like Starbucks.
