A very polite salesman was helping us and needed to ask a manager a question about an item. The manager on duty was sitting at her desk on her phone, playing games on her phone; it took several times to get her to answer the question. We walked by multiple times, and she was playing on her phone the entire time. We noticed the employees running around a lot, and the manager never got up to help. Managers used to be hands-on and supportive this was the complete opposite. Poor leadership and lack of professionalism. We left without purchasing and won't be back.

Every corner that you turn leads you to another room or another set of cases or another path to a different floor. Huge selection of Hot Wheels, vintage and antique furniture, old photos, decor, clothes, toys, pictures, artwork, records, you name it! For antique enthusiast or treasure hunters, this place has it all truly. They're currently in the middle of remodeling but it didn't hinder our visit or experience at all. I'm looking forward to the finished result for sure! The pricing all looked reasonable and comparable. Great selection of handmade BBQ sauces and jellies as well. I was able to snag a really cool book on Italy and a 1978 magazine about the KC Royals. Usually if you go to a thrift store, the toy area is trashed from the kids playing with the toys. But they had the toys higher up on shelves and bagged with the pieces that go with the toys. So they actually had a better selection of toys because all the pieces are most pieces were intact. I ended up buying some toys there for my grandson and also some books. Their prices were good compared to other thrift stores. I did not look at the clothing prices which tend to be ridiculous at most thrift stores. We did not have to wait long at all to check out and the woman was friendly. I have been to the other Blessings Abound thrift store in Overland Park, but not this one. I would recommend it to anyone living in this area.
