My favorite yarn store. I wandered in ne day and felt so at home that it's basically become my "third place." The staff is so friendly and helpful that I'm not longer embarrassed by my newbie status -- Nancy and Miko are willing to take the time to explain things about yarn, and about knitting and crocheting. There's a huge selection of notions and yarns with samples of products in which they've been used -- which is helpful for choosing both materials and project. The prices are very fair and the knitting class I took was excellent. I don't live here year round but plan to visit the store for supplies and advice whenever I'm in town. read more

I arrived near closing, but still received great service and found everything I needed (and didn't realize I needed). This shop is a GEM. Cute inside, lots of space but cozy, well stocked with yarn, supplies and extra, fun stuff! Tables to hang out and work on projects-sweet! I'll be returning! read more

It was an ok visit. No one greeted me upon entering. No one asked if I needed help. I guess it was too close to closing time for them to bother. The yarn selection was nice but I'm no pro so I could have used all the help I could get- which was none. However, someone was sure ready to ring me up when I arrived at the register. What a great little gem with such a nice assortment of yarn. The staff were super helpful helping me pick out yarn for a new color work sweater...and I ended up purchasing yarn to make a pair of sock and a hat. For a small store they really had something for everyone, including some funny bags and lots of notions. I visited mid-week during the day and got parking right across from the shop. I'm not familiar with the area, but the parking looks like it might be a pain if there is a lot of snow or more shoppers in town, but definitely worth the effort to find parking. A great business. They have a good yarn selection. There's always a well stocked wall of needles and notions. A comfy seat to sit and knit if you need it. And a cute side room for your tot to play for a bit while you shop. Which for me in invaluable. I was also impressed with some of the eco measures the owner has implemented. Such as no plastic bags. It's a little thing but it made a big positive impression on me. I hope she's there for years to come. read more

This is a great place with a wide selection of yarn and supplies for all your project needs. Fantastic selection of needles and other notions. Irina is wonderful and Gretchen is a great teacher. Both are encouraging and have great advice if you hit a roadblock in your project. The atmosphere is welcoming and there is a comfy couch to sit and knit. I came in here looking to identify a specific yarn and they were so friendly and helpful! They felt the yarn and talked with a few people debating what brand it was. The previous store I went to didn't even bother to touch my sample and were not friendly. This store was very inviting and looked fun to knit as a community if I lived nearby.
