I had a large unit when I moved out of state. We finally went back to FL to empty it. It took longer than we thought so we swapped it out for the smallest size at $70/month from the original $200+. Two months later they raised the price. Then they kept raising It bi monthly and it is now at $200/month. Which is the same as the original larger size that we had. Which was the size of a large bedroom. This one is the size of a small closet. We have called and they told us it's dynamic pricing and all storage companies do it. And then, "Our rent goes up too". Well it's not an apartment and rents don't usually go up that quickly. It is usually yearly or bi yearly. I hate dynamic pricing. Airlines do it also. My job even does it once and awhile and I find it embarrassing when I have to explain it to customers. IMO if you are doing well why raise prices? It's not like they are raising our salaries when they do well. I was going to keep it longer at the $70 price even though it is still a waste of money. But $200?? Now I have to fly down there and close it up. My bad for not planning better the first time but my Dad was dying and we were more focused on that. But I recommend not getting storage lockers if you can help it. read more

Went to the lock up self storage to rent a unit. The first meeting with the manager Brian Molnar was not good he was very impatient, unreasonable and didn't listen to what we were saying. Second time returning to pick up key and lock again he did not want to hear what we had to say, very rude, speaking over the top of us and very impatient when we were trying to explain something about the email we had received. We suggested that maybe it had gone to his spam or Junkmail but he told us he didn't have spam or Junkmail. He told us he was locking up and going home in three minutes. All we needed was the key and lock which he did give to us but he is not a very happy welcoming man and brings the business down with his approach to customers. No stars now. I have rented about 4 years at Siesta Self Storage. I have not been able to find anyone to let me in for the past 3 days. I've called numerous times and no answer and no response to voicemail. There is a code pad on the door but I was NEVER given a code for entry. Basics my property is being stolen. I had never had a problem before but I need to get into the facility and am unable to even get a response. read more

I chose this business because of the price and convenience to my home. It is very clean and had all I needed to get my stuff into my unit. There is only one employee at this site so if the front door is locked, she is back in the units working. She was very nice and very helpful in answering my questions. read more

I just read through the reviews and now in addition to what I was going to write, I have to say that everyone should ask for Brian when they check in. He makes the Lock Up like one big happy family. There is always laughter, smiles and extremely helpful information. I appreciate the heck out of Brian, who is a hard worker. To deal with me one has to be very patient. He checks all the boxes. My initial review was going to be that the place is always clean and feels like new. I feel safe and confident in the place where I am storing my personal heirlooms and treasures. This place is great! I had been comparing options for about a week or two and stumbled upon them at the last minute. They have pretty straightforward pricing. I got 50% off first three months, which beat competitor pricing. And allowed me to get a size that worked perfectly for my needs. All storage places I looked into had administrative and insurance fees that could be construed as misleading if you hadn't factored them into cost, but their fees were average and explained to me. The only option I would have preferred, was 24-hour access, but have found the early AM until 9pm access is perfectly sufficient. Friendly staff, always helpful and knowledgeable. Plus they are brand new, well-lit, climate-controlled, safe and easy to access. read more

We had great experience with one individual during our 8/1 checkin (unfortunately I forget his name) not so good with others Facility is excellent . Very clean. Very large Covered area for two groups to load and unload. Restrooms on first floor adjacent to load/ unload area. Dolly and multiple carts available to move you boxes etc Security very good. Door code needed to enter loading / unloading area. Same code needed to access elevators or door from loading/ unloading area. They provide lock and keys. Watch out for extra cost gotchas. They charge for 2 months up front. Claim you will get refund of final month if sufficient that you are leaving We reserved online. Reservation was good until 8/2 . On 8/1 received a call telling us reservation was cancelled which meant we would need to pay increased rate for the length of our rental- our check in guy honored our original reserved rate but another employee(the one who called to cancel our reservation ) told our check in guy not to honor our reserved price At checkin in we were told we needed to show proof of insurance or purchase insurance from them at minimum of$12/month. We were told that when if we provided a copy of the declarations page of our homeowners policy the insurance charge would be reversed. Today 8/5, we showed copy of declaration page . Employee at desk told us we would not be charged for insurance starting 9/1 but August insurance charge could not be refunded. This contradicted our understanding of what we were told at checkin. In summary- very good facility. You experience will vary widely depending on the employee who is present when you need service. It seems to me that some employees want to play "gotcha" and find ways to make you pay more than you should If it wasn't for the sketchy employees and practices I would have given 5?stats read more

I don't know if he stores any of his own belongings here, but he takes a personal interest to ensure that your needs are met as if they were his. The place is clean, easy to access and convenient. Prices are fair BUT check your contact because they will start increasing the rates after a year. After they nab you with "the deal" for new customers but once the honeymoon is over you're not treated as a valued customer. My rate nearly double in 1.5 years (never expected to have it that long but house sake took longer than anticipated). The manager says I could have the "move-in rate" if I moved my stuff to a new unit. I had a broken collarbone at the time. So when I finally go to move out the manager, Brian, who has the social skills of a frog, charged me $30 key fee for each unit.. I'd talked to him several days in a row and he had not mentioned or reminded me that I needed to return all three keys. My newly ex-husband had rented one of the units and had those keys. I could've turned them in the next day but he said no. I'm an adult and understand that this is my responsibility.. that's not the point. After giving them my business for 1.5 years and well over a thousand dollars I felt completely unappreciated as a customer. All for $60 for keys I could've returned the next day. It left me feeling awful. The other front desk guy, Dave, is very nice. If I was the owners I wouldn't want Brian dealing with my customers.
