The Lost Sock was my big find in 2022. I first learned of them years ago when they made a generous donation in our community to a family in need. Then I was reminded of them a few months ago when someone on instagram talked about their amazing drop off / pick up service. I'm hooked. Its not a weekly thing for me (which I think if you do have a set schedule, there's a discount involved). But when we come home from a big trip, or laundry has just piled up, or like now when my dryer broke - they are AMAZING. I send a text, they're usually available in a day or two. They remind me the night before and I put all the dirty laundry on my porch at 7am, by 2 or 3pm, the laundry is back, sorted, folded perfectly, socks matched up, the works! They text me an invoice and I'm done. Its amazing and makes my life so much easier. I love knowing that when stuff gets a bit crazy in the laundry department that I can call these guys. read more

This review is for the "COIN OP LAUNDROMAT" side of this location. Clean, bright, large facility. Employee/manager on site to help. Several sizes of washers, and "30 pound" dryers. Prices range from $3 for a standard washer, $5 for a larger load, and up to $10 for the largest machine with extra time. Dryers require $1.50 and up. You get about 8 minutes of drying time per quarter. 2 change machines, snack and soda, wash supplies vending, even a bathroom (single person room). Lots of transfer carts and folding tables, a row of seats. TV showing the game. Not terribly crowded on a Sunday at noon. Dollar Tree and food places nearby. Parking immediate to front of place is tight, but plenty of parking nearby and "behind". Everyone is there to wash and go, not hassle anyone. Dry clean/fluff and fold place next door, which is called "The Lost Sock". I would love to see tap to pay on the touchscreen panels eventually. Overall an excellent facility. read more

This is the best little laundromat in town. Clean, friendly attendants, easy to use plain 'ol cash (no transferring funds to a laundry mat card). Machines are always functioning properly. Nice little shopping center in the middle of Lyons Avenue. So grateful it's here when I need to wash bulky items. read more

Absolutely fantastic experience with the pick-up and delivery service! We are getting our washer and dryer replaced at home, and the expected delivery date keeps getting pushed further and further back. Bit of a bind! The Lost Sock Laundromat jumped to the rescue. I got in touch via their website and received a call back on the same day to explain the process and set up a pick-up date. Massive amount of bonus and gratitude points for being able to accommodate us earlier than originally suggested! We left our laundry outside the morning of the pick-up and got it delivered freshly washed and neatly folded later in the afternoon. The convenience - and very fair price - cannot be overstated. I hope we'll get our washer and dryer delivered soon, but if we don't (and if anything else comes up) I'll be a repeat customer for sure! read more

This place has been great since my husband and I moved to the area. We have 2 comforters that obviously cannot fit in our washing machine. So it's nice to have the pick up and drop of service (Same Day by the way!). Marina is very helpful and friendly when scheduling pick up service. We had one minor drop off issue but it was fixed in the end and nothing major to deter me from continuing to use their service. They are great!!! read more

Laundry day is a very dangerous day why is this you might ask it's simple like the name of the business The Lost Sock is the least of the worries as once you step foot inside be prepared to take battle to the sock monster who lives in the dryer as they are the one who takes your other sock setting them free from the grasp of your stinky feet and this is why you always lose one of your socks! Typical laundromat but with decent prices as it's $2 for the washer and $3.50 for the dryer and a few more bucks if you didn't bring your own soap to wash your clothes with but you did bring your own soap so your not having to worry about that but if you don't they have you covered as they sell some here for a moderate price. To keep you entertained wile your here you can play the Astroids game machine in the back just save a quarter or two as you know you'll be addicted to the game of the past! Finally just keep an eye on your clothes as you never know who might want to jack your stuff not really sure why you would want someone else's dirty laundry but hey some people do so just keep an eye on your stuff and you'll be good to go! Overall clothes get cleaned you spend some quarters or you can always do what Dia and I did during laundry day at Cedar Point and that was to drink a 6 pack wile the wash is going it makes it just that much more enjoyable until that very last beep! read more

Bomb. They have a weekly service where they come on Monday and pick up your laundry from your porch hunnnay! Yasssssss! Those fonky drawls that are twerking in your hamper will be HANDLED and put in their place! Those grungy ass socks that are talking shit every time you wear them one mo time (with your ugly big toe sticking out) will stop reminding you that it's time for a bath! I love this spot because they fold really nice and my clothes are VERY CLEAN, but don't come back smelling like chemicals and harsh detergents. I love the customer service reminder on Sundays to have the laundry out by 7:30 am... and guess what? My stuff is golden and folden and back on my porch that same day! I'm getting married in a week and came down with a brutal case of strep throat. The laundry has been piling up, and it's been stressing me out. I sent an SOS message at midnight and at 8 am the next day, lost sock called me and arranged a last minute pick up. My clothes were picked up by 8:30 and returned cleaned, folded and perfect by 2:30. I'm not one to write reviews, but this is a MUST! I just did laundry here and this place is absolutely FILTHY!! It's not maintained, there's trash, dust everywhere and machines inside are dirty, also pricing is misleading, shows $3.00 standard machines, yet if you want hot water, it's extra $.50 when I could've used 1 large machine instead for less. My clothes came out dirtier, not sure what was inside machine, but they got some white stuff all over my clothes! I'm not spending extra more of my money to rewash. I don't know how they got great rating, but it's clearly FALSE!! Don't waste your money here if you care anything about cleanliness! Thanks for replying back Mike H., but laundromat looked as if hadn't been cleaned for months, etc., not sure how it could get that filthy within hours, but I was pretty grossed out and exhausted, as I drove almost 2 hours in traffic to get there cause I used to live near there around 16 years ago and didn't recall it being dirty back then and thought I'd return to familiar place, but sadly was bad mistake, waste of my time, energy, gas, etc. I used 2 of the top loaders, it stated $3.00, but when I clicked the "hot" water button verses the "warm" water button it was defaulted at, both machines required additional $.50 and one of them, the quarters kept getting stuck, but thankfully had return button to retry and dryers took a lot longer than expected to dry clothes. I put in $1.25 for 25 min in each dryer and additional $.75 or so to dry further what didn't dry before, but rug was still damp after 3 additional attempts to dry, so I gave up and left. I appreciate your offer to help make it right, but it's not convenient and I prefer to do my own laundry. read more

It's been scientifically proven - that laundry is the WORST thing in the world. The Lost Sock is such a great resource to our community and I want to scream their praises from the rooftops! It's owned by a local SCV family and they offer top notch services. When I get too behind with my laundry, I will send a quick message and arrange a pick up. It's very cost-effective and helps get my laundry room (and mind) in order quickly. The clothes are picked up in the morning and returned and FOLDED around noon. A large garbage bag costs me about $25. If you know of a new mom, or family going through medical emergencies...pay for their laundry to be completed! I only came here because my normal spot was packed but I learned never to go back. Worst dryers possible and the big washer I nor Ally pay 5.50 for is 6.50 here. Also, 25 cents for 10 mins of drying when you need 50 mins to dry is not acceptable. It was very hot inside as well, they have an AC unit but obviously don't want to keep their customers happy.
