I normally don't leave reviews like this, but I felt it was important to share for safety reasons. My father and I were parked outside the laundromat, minding our own business while waiting to fill a gallon of water. Out of nowhere, a woman walking out of the laundromat made intense eye contact with us from her car. She suddenly drove toward us and began aggressively confronting my dad in Spanish, accusing him of "judging her," even though we hadn't spoken a single word to her. When I defended my father and asked her to leave us alone, she continued making verbal threats through her closed window. She also reversed her car in a way that made me feel like she might try to hit us, and then began taking photos of me and making strange hand gestures. The whole scene was extremely unsettling. I went inside to report it, and Oscar, one of the employees, handled the situation professionally and respectfully. He listened to my concerns and made me feel heard. He's the reason this place is getting 4 stars instead of 1. To anyone visiting this location: if you encounter aggressive behavior from any individual outside, please notify staff immediately. It seems like this person may approach strangers without reason, even in broad daylight. I hope management is made aware -- not of the laundromat itself, but of what customers may be dealing with outside. read more

I came to this location for the first time and was greeted by a friendly male employee that helped me with the coin machine, washing machine and dryer. He had a smile the entire time that he was helping me. He recommend the right size washing machine and drying for my item and I was happy with the final results of my item. The place is clean and tidy. I will definitely be back. read more

One of THE WORST places. Employees are extremely rude. You could walk in anywhere from 8-10:30, and they'll tell you they're closed. Lights are on, people inside and even with a light up sign that says they close at midnight. Just because the employees speak Spanish, doesn't mean they should talk about customers like they don't or cannot understand! read more

This laundry place was the place I always chose to come to. I always felt it was small and convenient place to come and wash my blankets. Sadly I had the opportunity to actually meet the owner, he was beyond rude and disrespectful. He truly from his heart believes I was upset because he loudly and rudely asked the customers who are washing to move their cars from the 10 min parking spot. I realized I didn't exactly move my car at the 10 min mark and once he said other people are going to think that the laundry-mat is full when it's not. I quickly understood and moved my car because I do believe he was right on that. Their has been many times that come to this laundromat and I'm not able to unload because theirs cars parked for longer than they should be. He first assumed it was a man who was standing in the back and yelled at him to move his car I quickly got up and said oh that's my car, I'll move it right now. Afterwards I came back and just minded my business, my blankets finished washing and I began putting them in the dryers I spent $40 in just washers and I had quit a bit blankets to dry and a whole role of dryers apparently were new but no sign and their were 3 individuals putting wet clothes in the new dryers. I informed the owner that maybe it would be a good idea to put a sign on the dryer informing customers that they are are new and not ready to be used. His reaction to my comment was horrible, I wish I could honestly tell you everything he said but their was just too much, he I implied that I was stupid for not opening my eyes and not noticing that their was no box, although I was not the only one doing this. While he was telling me that I need to pay closer attention, their was another customer putting their wet clothes in the same non working dryers, and a man who was taking his wet clothes from a non working dryer to another non working dryer. I chose to take my wet blankets and decided to leave, but while I was loading my car he tried to again tell me how I was wrong and I was upset because I had to move my car, I was so furious at this point and I was trying to explain that I was not upset because I had to move my car, I was more surprised about how disrespectful he was, and he tells me to shut my mouth. I left angry, I cried in car for a moment because of the negative feelings I felt. I just can not believe how bad I allowed this person to make me feel. I hate altercations and not sure why but it always surprises me how ugly people are. Just fyi I was not the only one informing him that it was his rudeness and his inability to understand where his customers where coming from. The whole situation was not ok. I will never come here again. The business alone is just another business but this owner is something else. read more

came here as recommended by a friend since my washer broke at home first few times had a pleasant expirence no issues today one of the $9.50 machines stopped taking quarters after I had already inserted $4.50 another gentleman who was doing his laundry there stopped to help us but also said the machine was jammed we call the number inside the store since it wouldn't give our quarters back who I think now is the manager based on the reviews said to not touch the machine anymore he would come in to help us as soon as he came back he was in a rush asking what machine we proceeded to show him he inserted a quarter and then the machine started taking the change again to which he responded "see easy all you have to do is insert the quarter" in a sassy tone I explained to him that we know that but when we were trying it it wasn't taking the change and even another person who was trying to help us witnessed that how is it our fault when he said not to touch it anymore and why did he have to respond that way machines malfunction all the time ? last time I come here def gonna try out another place should have looked at the reviews first since I see it's a repetitive issue with the attitude here read more

I used to go here regularly and try to tell myself to be understanding of the staff but this place is inconsistent. Sometimes the last load is at 10:30pm as posted on the door and other times it's 10pm. I was even told that last load is at 9:30 one time! I have been a customer at this laundry mat for more than 5 years. The employees have been great, the man that use to work there was always helpful, friendly, professional and personable. There is a woman that works there that is also helpful, friendly, professional and personable. She always says hi and asks me how I am as soon as she sees me. It is because of them that I have continued to be a customer. It definitely isn't the quality of the machines since there are several washers and dryers that are out of order. I don't think all of them have ever worked at the same time. Today was the first time I have seen the owner and I am disgusted at the way he spoke to not only me but to another customer who had called because he wanted the $8.00 the washing machine had taken and wouldn't start. When the customer called and told the owner of this he was told that none of his employees were there. The customer deserved to have his money returned to him and the owner had to drive to the location. Apparently the owner had told the customer that it is because of customers like him that he was in the hospital. The owner asked him if he had ever used the machine before which didn't matter considering he wanted his $8.00 today. If he had used the machine 100x without a problem it did not change the fact that today he had put $8.00 in it and it wasn't working. This was a first time customer that will never return because the owner has a little man's complex and is rude and condescending as if he is better than everyone. He has no people skills. I used to like this laundromat.....then I met the owner. He is rude, condescending, and while everything states that laundry is open until midnight(&most employees will allow you to dry until midnight), the owner states all clothing, wet or dry, needs to be removed at 11:30....so you have time to fold. Doesn't matter if you don't plan to fold, doesn't matter if you have 20min remaining on the dryer(that you paid for)....11:30, clothes out. Maybe if the dryers worked as they should, it wouldn't take almost an hour to dry clothing!! I was previously ok with the dryers working halfway, I was ok with broken machines, I enjoyed that they were open late(feed the kids, get them set up, go do laundry, least inconvenience).....until I met the owner. Today was my first time here. Machines take quarters only. The worker/owner was polite, and I saw him working hard to keep this business clean. This is a very small laundrymat. There is not much space to get around. There is no a.c., so it was incredibly hot in there, and it was still the morning half of the day. There are only about 5 chairs to sit on, and seats are hard to get to with all the rolling carts in the way. Thankfully, the machines seemed clean, and the dryers worked well (25 cents for 10 mins). I used a larger- medium sized machine for $5.75 (for extra wash time), and a smaller- medium sized machine for $4.50. So machine prices are decent. read more

Since our machine broke at home we've been bringing our clothes here weekly to be washed by the pound. Absolutely worth it!!

Awful place and terrible service. I put my money in the washer and it didn't work. I asked for the help, but the owner couldn't do anything and didn't give me refund, just told me that washer seems to be broken. I didn't hear any apologies as well. DO NOT DO YOUR LAUNDRY HERE! This is literally the worst laundromat you will ever visit. I've come here several times because it's less expensive than the one across the street, but each time has been a terrible experience. I finally got smart and decided to never return. I'd rather pay the extra money at the other laundromat. First of all, half of the machines don't work, and they are not labeled as being out of order. Second: if you do have the misfortune of getting one of the bad of broken machines, you will not get a refund. Nobody is ever here to do refunds, and if someone IS here, they will not refund you. Third: Your clothes will actually be dirtier than when you started. There is lint and sludge in some of the machines that gets on your clothes. Most of my clothes are black, and they were absolutely COVERED in white fuzz and lint when I took them out of the washer. It won't come off in the dryer, either. Fourth: NO HOT WATER. All of the machines are cold water even if you select the hot cycle. This is obviously deliberate. Most of the dryers won't get hot either. Fifth: Nobody wears masks, and nobody is around to enforce this. Sixth: the owner is a gigantic asshole. Forget even trying to reason with him about anything. He'll throw you out before he even tries to help you. If these 6 reasons aren't enough to prevent you from going to this laundromat, then there's no hope for you. Trust me, go across the street and pay the higher prices. At least your clothes will be clean. read more

Rude owner who is too "busy" to be bothered with your issues concerning HIS laundromat. Also, don't expect the broken machines to be labeled, employees will only mention this until after you put your money, soap, and clothes in :) After 1 year of coming to this laundromat, I finally had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Owner after one of his machines - which was not labeled nor displayed an error- took my money and proceeded to break down on me. I let the onsite employee know my issue and she proceeded to call the owner, who instructed her to have me call him. Mr. Owner, who was so polite and not accusatory at all, calmly explained to me over the phone that the only way I would get a refund was after he was done playing his wedding gig. He made it very clear that he was "busy very busy" and I would have to wait until he was done with his earth shattering performance to inspect the machine. While explaining to Mr. Musician that I couldn't wait several hours for him to return to the store and inspect the machine, I suggested for his employee to refund me the $1.75. I figured this was a common issue and the $1.75 wouldn't be that hard to refund at a laundromat. Boy was I wrong! Mr. Owner proceeded to call me "rude" for the suggestion, and that I would have to wait until his performance was over. He further explained that he had to review the tapes and make sure I "didn't add too much soap," which apparently causes washing machines to break, and then he would determine if my commoner self was worth a $1.75 refund. After being hung up on for... *shrug*, I attempted several times to call back Mr. Muscian Owner for a better solution - I knew an apology was out of the question after that display. He sent back a charming text message calling me "crazy" for calling and reaffirmed the fact that he was "busy very busy." He was so busy in fact, that he offered me 3 whole dollars to stop "bothering" him from doing his other job. Moral of the story my friends: Go somewhere else. I have been coming to this place nearly a year since moving to Canyon Country, and have been lucky enough not to deal with the owner. My issue is not the refund, it's the lack of 0 craps given for the customer and the accusatory manner with which the owner speaks to his customers. He made it very clear his music comes first, so don't you dare call him when he is playing a gig, even if he is the one who advised it. "What do you expect me to do!? Leave my show and come give you $1.75!?" No, that's why I suggested if your employee could possibly refund me. Also, if you dont want to be bothered, then why instruct your employees to have customers call you with their issues? Note: don't expect the staff there to help either. While they are nice people, the owner made it clear in his text they are only there to clean and not do anything else. read more

This is the best laundromat I've ever been to in the whole USA. Not only is it super super clean, it's very safe and all the machines are in good working condition. Went in with a friend to do some laundry today. I've been there quite a few times . This time the owner was there and he was the rudest person I've ever met !!!! Very disrespectful. He went out of his way to make offensive comments towards my friend and I. When we finally decided to leave because he did not deserve our money he decided he continue to laugh and make more rude comments on top of what he had said in the first place. Too bad I can't rate it less. Never experienced such a rude person. There's a sign that says to ask for help to get change which makes no sense to begin with but the times I've been here employees are usually busy or on their break which is no big deal. Although once I was even told by one of them to just go ahead. This time I came in not thinking anything of it and went straight to the machine and got change considering the last few times I've been here that's what I've done. There was an an employee taking out the quarters from the machines (a mean old man which now after I read the other reviews I'm pretty sure is the owner) he gave me the nastiest attitude and spoke to me in such a condescending tone. Asking if I know how to read and did I not see the sign.. (Like I'm here to give you money wtf?! It's not like I'm stealing your change!) Had I not done all the work of loading my clothes into the washer and wasting the last bit of laundry sanitizer I had I would've definitely left. Oh also the last couple of times I've been here the people doing laundry are also super rude like no common curtesy they don't bother moving out of the way when they see you coming toward them with a heavy hamper full of clothes even though they aren't doing anything but expect you to move out of their way immediately when they're moving their crap. Dirty, very small and cramped, old broken machines. Put my wash in a washer, put soap and powder in, the handle was broken, had to take it out and move it to another machine, wasted my detergent. But worse, an elderly disabled woman was doing her wash, the owner came and screamed at her for her service dog, which is illegal and abusive. She kept telling him the law but he kept screaming at her. She called the sheriff's on him, one arrived and was ignorant and worthless as LA sheriff's always are. She stood up for the laws against both of. I hope she Sue's the owner and the sheriff's. I will never go back there!!!! read more

I been coming to this place several times at night and in the day for over 2yrs. The workers who come in to clean at night are really nice and helpful. But the owners (husband and wife) are Rude... And they mistreat their workers in my opinion! They care more about hugging and kissing each other than paying attention to what goes on around there establishment. A lot of people hang out outside of this laundromat so women.... DONT COME ALONE AT NIGHT! It's dangerous. I recently went to wash and saw the owners accuse a Young Black couple of destroying a machine that was old and was just put into the place. I watched the couple come in and place their clothes in and leave. The machine started to make noise so the owners stopped it and moved the clothes into another machine. When the couple returned the owners accused them of breaking the machine which CLEARLY wasn't the couples fault. The owners then said choice words about the couple and the couple told the owners they won't be coming back! And NEITHER WILL I! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Launderland is the only laundromat I use. It is always very clean, inside as well as outside, this includes the windows too. Opens on time and early every day. Machines are well maintained and always in working order. One awesome caveat, is that if there is an issue and you call the emergency telephone number, the phone is actually answered and concerns are addressed in a quick and professional manner.
