For starters, I'm a pretty reserved person, so I wasn't totally comfortable with how one of the employees(Natlie I believe was her name)approached recommendations--it felt a bit too personal/vulgar for me... I also noticed a few dead roaches on the floor during my visit, which was concerning.. That said, Monica was great. When I asked her for help, she gave thoughtful recommendations, kept things professional, and made me feel much more at ease. Tati and Lulu were very helpful and sweet. Tati helped me and she was very informative and not pushy at all, which I appreciate. Tati made us feel very comfortable and she was just so kind and sweet. This place has clothes, toys, candy, etc which is perfect for intimacy, a bridal shower, gag gift, etc. We ended up making a few selections without feeling pressured by anyone at the store and Lulu rang us up. Lulu is the manager and she was also very kind and helpful without being aggressive and pushy. Some items were a little pricey but overall our experience here was a good one so we will be back at another time. read more

I would like to update this review. I immediately had Edward Wheeler, the president of The Love Store, reach out to me. He apologized and said that they do not want their customers to feel like that. So thank you for the message Edward. So I went back to try shopping there. I went in on a weekday around lunch and it was a much different situation. The manager (I will edit and fill in her name because I forgot) was so great. She didn't know that I had a horrible experience last time either. She welcomed me to the store and told me if I had any questions to let her know. I did have some and she was so knowledgeable. I got my stuff and left happy. So while I was driving home I called up there to let her know about my previous experience and thanked her for everything she helped me with. She immediately apologized because she had read my review. The let me know that the two employees are no longer with the store and that the guy, who was nice, had to leave to go back to school, good for him and wish him luck. I wasn't the only one to feel completely uncomfortable. The last thing I want is to hear of someone being fired but when you are that unprofessional then it's something to learn and grow from. Maybe they quit, I don't know. With all this said, she was very knowledgeable and didn't try selling me on anything and everything. She told me her schedule and if I ever have questions or need help with something to reach out. You now have a loyal customer so thank you. This should be teaching lesson for management on what to do when you see a negative review about your business. Negative criticism can clearly turn into a positive outcome if you go about it right. read more

This is not my first time here at this store, but it is my first time purchasing from their bikini selection. And let me tell you, after searching everywhere all day, from Newport Beach to Costa Mesa, I finally found exactly what I wanted, right here at Tthe love store. The bikini line up is beautiful, forget telling you about it, I took pictures, take a look...Anyhow, most women are pretty curvy including myself, I found that the lace at the top of the bikini gives about an inch more of coverage especially if your trying to cover up a tummy tuck or c-section scar. I settled on 2 bikinis...The yellow/blue & pink/black. Come check this place out, not only do they have a great selection to choose from but the ladies are very helpful and they let you try on the bottoms to ensure they fit. read more

It's clean and pretty over all a great store! I worked at Sex Shop in Orange for a while and they teach you something that I think this business can learn from; Stop following your customer. I was literally shopping for some new lingerie with my AirPods in just trying to find something cute for my bf and this girl kept following me the entire time as well as the manger for a bit. Please let your customers do their thing, some people aren't as comfortable as me to be shopping for something like this and being followed the entire time won't help them. Decided to finally walk in on Saturday 1/27 and was surprised by the welcoming environment and friendly store managers, which made me feel comfortable during my visit. I had a lot of questions regarding products for my specific needs, and the managers who assisted me were knowledgeable and supportive. The value of what I purchased was well worth it ! I've been in this store several times, and I really appreciate the wide variety of lingerie/toys and the attentive customer service. The first few times, they asked us what we needed and gave us privacy to browse around. However, this time was not the same. There's one employee that is too attentive, in such a way that I'm uncertain if I want to return. I came with my cousin this time, and one employee would follow us throughout the entire store at a respectable Covid distance of 6ft. She was not rude, but the constant staring was disturbing. It also did not help that she followed us to the register despite another person ringing our purchase. Even after she stopped following us, she would not stop staring at us. Aside from that one ordeal, had no issues but wouldn't want to come with that employee present. read more

Marci and Al were super kind and helpful! Definitely a very boutique like shop and elevated experience. I think with stores like this, every customer has a different level of knowledge and comfort with the products sold here and may just want to keep to themselves / educate themselves by looking and reading about the products instead of discuss with someone they don't know... I could easily spend an hour walking around and shopping. My advice is while yes customer service is important, give people their space to explore and get comfortable on their own too. :) read more

I went in with a few friends just looking for a halloween outfit and right as we walked in, no hello or anything just, "do you guys have your IDs". After we let them check, we started looking at all the lingerie and costumes and the whole time this one girl was dead staring us and following everywhere we went. And she kept getting closer each time. I told my friends "let's just leave because you know i just LOVE being watched" ( loud and sarcastically of course).
