Awesome place, had a fantastic time! They had pool, foosball and plenty of drink options. i kicked some serious butt on the foosball table and was so happy because not many bars have them. They were playing music from the 80s and we were all having the best time singing along. The bartenders were friendly and fast making drinks on a Saturday night. The only thing keeping me from giving this bar 5 stars is the bathroom in the back. Dear god I felt like I was transported into a SAW movie LOL.

ORLANDO, FL: The Lucky Lure is a great dive bar to hang out with a drink, play some pool, meet locals, catch the sunset over Lake Ivanhoe, watch the game on their TVs, and have a fun time with your pup! Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside with windows that let in the breeze and it is covered on the top and offers counter seating. Get there before the nightlife starts as this is a party place!

This was a nice blend of indoor/ outdoor seating. The bartender was very helpful to us tourists when we asked for directions to another beer spot.

Huge craft beer selection!

Love this bar! Great live music and a huge selection of craft beers. We usually pre-game here or end the night at this spot. They don't serve food but there's a ton of places around.

Discovered this bar on Yelp. Walked here from the Hideaway bar. Glad I came here! The view from the bar is the street and Lake Ivanhoe. It had a beach theme to it, which is perfect because you see the water of the lake. My mind tricked me into thinking it was the actual beach. Very casual outside bar. It is covered so you can still go here when it's raining. There are high powered fans to keep you not dying from the heat. The have foozeball and pool tables as well. I was impressed they carried a wide variety of good beer. Crafts beers but they also had a full bar. The owner was behind the bar, and was welcoming and very chill. As soon as my friend approached the bar to order, he introduced himself with a handshake. We had a lot of conversations and he is pretty personable. He had good beer knowledge, and what beers to recommend. You get to use a koozie when you order a canned beer, which adds to the beach theme. Had a good time. Will be back!

Cute nautical bar.

Nice little bar with the breeze, it's a great spot to start a little bar crawl. I love anything beachy and this bar had that atmosphere. It has surfer vibe and there are surf boards hanging as decoration. There is also some free popcorn, if you're into that. I personally love when the bar offers free popcorn since I'm kinda obsessed with popcorn!

Great venue to hang out, have a couple beers and check out the local music scene. Open air is great on warm nights.

One of my all time favorite spots. I love the people watching from the open air bar and it's a local joint, so always friendly.

I've had a few but this peanut butter cheesecake may be my favorite. It was light and airy, sweet with a touch of salt. Delish! Lots of real candles, burlesque pictures, and flowers made the mood cozy and sexy. The staff were wonderful. To drink, I got the lickin love with Cabernet (milk chocolate on the rim with a white chocolate drizzle). It was so fun and delicious. For my dessert, I ordered the fever, which consisted of a chocolate molten cake, two scoops of vanilla ice cream, and a chocolate decoration. It was so delicious and decadent. My girlfriends loved the carrot cake and the fourgasm (4 dessert sampler). Everything was a bit expensive, but you're paying for the expensive. My one minor complaint was that we had not been there an excessive amount of time, but as we were checking out, we were informed we needed to leave because they needed our table in 5 minutes. I did not care for that. Overall, this was a really fun experience and I'm sad we had to say goodbye.

After months of anticipation... I finally made it to Alfie's…read more It was exactly what I was hoping it would be: a slice of culture. Real people. Real life. Real youth. Real energy. Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. No complaining about that ! lol

However, we initially entered to get a picture in the photobooth for our friends birthday. There was no one at the door checking IDs. After we all piled into the photobooth, someone walked up and asked for our IDs. He wanted us to exit the booth to get them. Eventually said ok because we had already paid and on a timer. But he was very impatient. Let me add that there was not a single person in the entire place. NO ONE. Let me also add that almost our entire group is almost 40. So we're obv not underage. With the way he approached us and was completely impatient, we were a little turned off and left. Which lost them money on our entire group. He followed us out the door as we left. It was a weird experience especially when there was literally no one else in there. The music was good but I doubt and of us will to back based on that experience alone.

I've been trying to stop into this distillery for years, but my timing was always off. Either they were closed that day i was there or not opening before I left. But today, the starts aligned. If you know, John and I love going to small craft/ small batch distilleries & we have the bar to back that up. Years of learning what we love and what we (I really) don't. I was all interested in the bourbon! And they delivered! Every batch is a one and done, with every new batch trying to be better and more refined than the last. Reminds me of myself, I'm always moving forward & trying to do better! Loved the bourbon. The Winter Park Arts Festival blend was phenomenal! Then... I tried the Gincident and that was an easy yes, let's take that bottle home. Meanwhile, Chase was bragging about their Best Espresso Martini.... hmmm, prove it. Made with bourbon, omg yes please. Proprietary blend of coffee, vodka made in house and yes, it was one of my to three I've ever had! And now I want to start trying various bourbons to make one at home! To be honest, we thought we were coming to a brewery and quickly realized it was a distillery. We walked in and noticed a bunch of outdoor seating. It was the perfect night so we looked forward to sitting outside. The atmosphere was busy, but laid back. We entered into the dimly lit establishment at Harry Potter playing on the TV (win!). It was a speakeasy-esque vibe and I loved it. We ordered an old-fashioned and espresso martini which were quickly brought to our table. They indicated that the espresso martini was the best one in town, so naturally I had to try it. I would definitely say it takes top five. We sat outside and had a great evening at this place. The wine list is thoughtful and reasonably priced, and the food is split between sharing plates and individual items. We started with the baked brie, which was an unconventional but excellent presentation of four freshly baked sourdough baguette slices, toasted with a thin slice of brie and fruity toppings. I'm a sucker for the eclectic ambiance of the place, even though it's clear that it's an homage to the original location rather than actual antiques. It was a little loud inside the restaurant, they could honestly benefit from some noise absorption in such a stark space. We got the tacos al pastor special and the fig & brie burger with seasoned fries, as well as guac and chips. The homemade chips and the seasoned fries were both knockouts! Very uniquely flavored and crispy. I especially loved the toppings on the burger, the combination of apple, onions, and brie was fantastic. I'd recommend that and get it again in the future!
