History

Established in 2015.

We started as a Book and Gift Fair Fundraising Business operating primarily in hospitals and large corporations. During Covid we had to get creative and we did a pop up shop in the Rock Hill Galleria Mall for the Christmas Season of 2022. In 2023 we secured a permanent spot in mall and Jo Lee + Co Permanent Jewelry and Custom Crafted hats was born. We rebranded in 2024 to The MaeLee Collective and moved into our 6,000 sq ft space that we now call home. We still have our pop up business that operates in NC, SC, Eastern GA, and parts of FL called Next Chapter Book and Gift Fairs. We are so thankful for all our amazing customers who have helped make our dreams into a reality. We can't wait to see what the future will bring!

Meet the Business Owner: Heather F.

My background is actually in healthcare, specifically in the Histology/ Pathology world. I worked in the field from 2007-2023. While it was tough to say goodbye, the store, our pop-up business and our 3 kiddos were providing plenty to keep us busy. I am passionate about what I do because I enjoy connecting with people. When we make a custom piece of jewelry together, there is usually a story behind it- whether they are bonding with a loved one, getting something in remembrance, or just adding a personal piece that makes them feel confident, polished, and put together, I am honored to be a part of it. My clients become friends and are treated like family. I truly love my job!
