We ate here recently before a dance and the service was great. We only had one waitress for a group of twelve and she handled everything smoothly and quickly. The owners came out and talked to us for a bit and they were very welcoming and happy to have us there. Our food was all great and drinks were never empty. Restaurant was clean and service was decent. However, the Panang curry had a strange smell and had a ton of oil/grease. I have ordered Panang curry at dozens of restaurants and it never smelled or tasted like this one. Not great. Similar experience with the Chicken Satay, very oily/greasy. Also, the chemicals they use to clean the tables have a strong smell if that bothers you. read more

I used to love this place. A lingering part of me still does. But yesterday a friend and I both got food poisoning. Come to find out, my mom has had food poisoning there and so has another friend. Colorful modern decor and an energetic vibe. I love their curries but don't find their pad thai or "glass" noodles too remarkable. This is a good restaurant but lacks something that makes me say, "wow, I love this place". The food doesn't taste quite as fresh to me as most Thai restaurants usually serve and the spices seem to be a little muted. I'm not necessarily in need of heat but heavier spices would be nice, I'm guessing they try to keep it less spicy for Midwestern palates or something. I went to Magic Noodle for lunch on a weekday. You can't miss the place: massive plastic bowl of noodles right off of Rangeline. I had a hankering for some sodium so I decided Thai was a good stop. The menu is pretty generic America/Asian/Thai. I went with the teriyaki chicken with a salad. The lunches come with a soup, but I read they have a great house dressing and it did not disappoint- it was freaking delicious. It was like an Asian Italian dressing- sweet, but with a kick. Huge fan. The lunch portion was not huge but enough to fill me up. The chicken was good sized, the steamed rice was cooked perfectly. The service was quick and friendly, and not overbearing. The decor had absolutely thrown up Christmas. The plates were even holiday themed. Tacky, but whatever, the food was good. My total with tax and tip was around $12. We just moved here from Dallas, as I was skeptical about the quality of local food in Joplin. To my surprise this Thai restaurant provided authentic, fresh, tasty food full of flavor. The wait staff were quite cold and abrasive, while the food was opposite, which is why its a two star instead of one.

We ordered as a small group over the phone. We found the menu online. When we arrived to pick it up, everything was more expensive than the lunch and appetizer prices on the online menu. 1 of the lunches was $4 more and all the appetizers had gone up. I asked for a menu to take back to work because the waitress said the online menus were very old. The new menus didn't have any lunch pricing. If you have time for a leisurely lunch with amazing food, Some of their best dishes are: Golden pouches, any Thai curry, Tom ka gai, mango sticky rice. The Thai tea is a really great creamy cold drink, too. The lunch items aren't as good as their made to order dishes. So if you know your Thai food & don't see your favorite on the menu, ask for it by name & chances are, the chef can make it. I haven't been disappointed in that respect yet! read more

I eat here every time I visit Joplin (my sisters favorite place) and I enjoy their selection. Crab Rangoon were delightful.

Everything I've had here is great. The peanut sauce is spicy without being overly hot. They let you customize if you don't like a certain vegetable which is so nice! I don't know anyone who's had a bad experience here. read more

I have came here about 3 or 4 times with my fiance and it has been really good... It was one of his favorite places to eat. The thai tea is delicious (in his opinion). Probably the best noodles in Missouri. I was attracted to the giant plaster prawn noodle bowl outside, and I'm infinitely glad I checked it out. It's a popular place, and they seem understaffed, but it's worth the wait. They have very reasonable prices and give you a lot of food for it. Definitely try the specials and their unique dishes. I've been there before and it was decent. However, today I ordered their vegetable delight, and the menu states it's in a brown sauce. It should have stated in soy sauce. It was too salty, and I only ate three bites. I told the cashier and she said "Okay I'll tell him." She did nothing but charge us, and we paid for it, but that wasn't good service, and the food was horrible. My dinning companion order the Thai rice and he didn't finish the plate which is unusual for him. No thanks, I'll spend my money elsewhere where I can actually eat the food. read more
