Amazing store, the cashier which i believe is the owner was very nice to us and even let my son use the restroom which is accessible for toddlers when most stores now a days just say no. They have an amazing selection for almost all ages but specially for around 4-12. They have licensed merch but also a lot of Montessori type toys which is great. I just want to incentivize the community to keep this type of stores running when we live in such an amazon world its still great that we can experience this kind of stores where we have a great selection of toys and also very competitive prices nothing was overpriced which is amazing considering there competing against internet prices. What a gem we have in Pacifica! Such a great selection for all ages and prices. I ran in on a Saturday morning and the place was hopping! I found several nice toys for a birthday party I was going to that afternoon, and was pleasantly surprised when the friendly cashier asked if Id like them gift wrapped! A great toy store located in Eureka Square - there are a lot of different options for kids of all ages, reasonably priced as well. I came here on a quiet Wednesday afternoon around lunchtime and had the store to myself to peruse at my leisure. I ended up getting a few items for my kids, which they are enjoying playing with. However, I'm pretty disappointed with one of the items I bought - it's a "hide and squeak"mouse toy that is supposed to make specific noises to help kids find where the mouse is hiding but the toy did not work correctly as soon as I took it out of the box. I guess that's what you get for a "good price". I didn't get my receipt upon purchase and didn't think it was worth bringing back in to try and get a refund, but lesson learned for next time. read more

Nice neighborhood small business. While there's not a huge, wide variety, it's a good general selection of items, primarily for kids. They also have a few old collectible action figures from the 90s. There's outside toys and activities as well, perfect for sunny weather. Pretty reasonable prices, friendly staff. Pretty impressed in general and a must-go if you're looking for gifts for kids of all age ranges. If they had a bigger space, it'd be cool if they hosted weekly or monthly board game nights too. read more

And the service was great as well of course this is a small store but if you can't find it in a bigger store can find it I like this place. What a WONDER-FULL shop! I never knew! I'm in love with it all, great selection, great location, fun items I've not seen anywhere and the very best part is the staff. I just stopped in for the first time -just before closing. The sweetie behind the counter was joyful, professional, kind, engaging and she even gift wrapped for me!! What service! I am so grateful I didn't purchase something online like I plan to earlier in the week. I'm so grateful I forgot for my ADHD. That creates last moment needs. Else I would never have found the store and this lovely lovely person. Her name is Jaden and because of her and what I found I will definitely be back! The Magic Toybox is exactly what every modern day kid needs to walk into in order to understand how we all grew up and shopped for gifts! It's one of my kids favorite spots to visit on a warm weekend day, just to browse and try to spend their $5 of pocket money they've managed to save up. We had a wonderful conversation about the toy market, and how competitive it can be. My family visited recently to pick up a few items for our 2 year old daughter and a family friend. The Magic Toybox is why buying in a store is so much better than buying online! They had a great selection of high end toys, books, and games. Lots of eco friendly brands and a great mix of popular items (LEGOs) and some more unique finds (our daughter's favorite was the stuffed animal of a mouse in a watermelon). This place is a hidden gem! I didn't even think toy stores existed anymore, so it was a delight to see this one open (in the middle of a pandemic too!). My kids have never had the toy store experience because by the time they were born, toys were coming from either target or Amazon. Now, I'm so happy to bring my kids here and see them get that toy store wonder and awe in their eyes. The Magic Toybox has very friendly employees and a nice variety of toys for infants to older kids - books, board games, stuffed animals, stem toys, even little trinkets like mash'ems and a wide variety of pop it fidget toys (just to name a few). The store is always neat and organized and my kids have a wonderful time exploring. Right now they're offering gift wrapping too. Oceana Market tried, but the Magic Toybox is the real deal for a walk-in toyshop in P-town. Unbelievably jammed full of good stuff including modern/popular stuff like Lego & HotWheels, stuffies crawling everywhere, crafts projects, tchotchkes, and board games from yesteryear including Chutes n Ladders, Candyland, Mousetrap, and Operation. I really want to support this awesome local business, but I can't pay $32.99 for a Barbie set (you can be anything) that Target sells for $15.99, or a Thomas Kinkade Disney coloring book that Amazon sells for $6.79 as opposed to their $12.99. I love this cute store! I went in and immediately saw a very unique assortment of plushies, Legos, Duplos, puppets, puzzles and much more. I asked for help with finding a bunny and another animal plush of the same size for my 6 yr old and 4 year old. They showed me a bunch of options and even some they didn't have in inventory yet which was awesome and I loved that they were willing to open a few boxes for me! I went with two small hand puppets of a bunny and kitten bobcat. Definitely will buy some Duplo sets from them in the future and will stop by with the kids when in Pacifica! read more

Fantastic toy shop! Took my daughter and her friend in to look at the pop-it's and other fidget type toys. I was pleasantly surprised to find high quality toys that made me want to buy something for myself. The selection is excellent! I was a Lego kid and the selection here is really nice.
