This is hands down my favorite Daiso in the Bay Area. It is right behind Target at Serramonte Shopping Center and super easy to find. The entrance is just outside the shopping center near the food court, which makes it a perfect stop whether you are grabbing a meal or doing some browsing. The store is bright, clean, spacious, and really well organized. It is such a fun place to walk through. I always tell myself I am going in for just one thing and somehow leave with a bag full of random items I absolutely "needed." They have everything from cute home goods and kitchenware to snacks, office supplies, and fun little gifts. The selection is top tier and everything still feels like a bargain even though the prices have gone up a bit. The staff here are always friendly and helpful which makes the whole shopping experience even better. If you are in the area or just love a good Daiso run, this is the one to visit. It has the charm, the variety, and the kind of layout that makes you want to browse every single aisle. I always leave with something that brings me joy. Honestly, if I could only go to one Daiso in the Bay, this would be it every time.

Double scanned item, friendly reminder to check your receipts!

Cant complain about the store itself, it has a great variety of things. However, i was double charged for an item. I only bought one cup lid but was charged twice. I was trying to help a friend next to me using the self checkout so i was distracted. I could understand if it read the barcode twice during the same scan but, this was clearly scanned once at the beginning and then again at the end. $2.25 isn't a big deal but i hate shady practices. Remember to check your receipts!

How do I walk in to a Daiso needing absolutely NOTHING and walk out $40 poorer? It's so easy to do! And what did I "need" this trip? (Nothing, I know!). Colored paper clips, microfiber cloth slippers, cute cat scissors, sweet milk bread, lavender pads of notepaper, dumpling press, etc, etc, etc, etc I love a good Daiso!

Affordable prices, merch with cute designs, and a wide variety of items. If this sounds like your vibe, then head over to Daiso--you won't be disappointed! This Daiso is one of the bigger locations in the Bay Area. There is enough walking room in the store that you don't have to worry about bumping into people or squeezing through the aisles. In addition to a spacious store, the inside is kempt. Items are neatly stacked on the shelves, and the floors are clean. I came when there was a really good stock of things for the week. There was a 2 for $4 deal on neck pillows for the car, and I absolutely had to get my hands on that. I also got some other various things like organizational stuff, reusable shopping bags, and some accessories. Very satisfied with my finds here.

This Daiso store is a neat store to go shopping.... I have bought several neat items at this Daiso store of Serramonte!!! There are other Daiso Store locations that I have shopped at which is the one in JapanTown Downtown San Francisco Area and they used to have one inside the Stonestown Galleria Shopping Mall... But that Daiso Store Location didn't stay in business that long so from there it went of business!!! The one thing that I like about this Daiso Store they have a lot of neat gadgets to look at!!!

I love Daiso! This is one of the bigger stores in the Bay Area and it has a lot of selection! They especially had a lot to San-X/Sanrio stuff like Rillakuma here which I love! I saw things like masks, stickers, magnetic bookmarks etc. I don't usually buy stationery goods much anymore but I couldn't resist here. I buy a lot of random household knickknacks here like storage containers, house slippers, disposable kitchen gloves, a banana stand, a cup for the bathroom, etc. Items are priced $1.50+ (although I think they raised the prices recently but still pretty affordable).

The things are so cute! Boba squishies, money pouches, beverages, and Sanrio cups! I love Sanrio! Tokyo brand but Made in China.

This Daiso is pretty big comparing to other Daisos I have gone to. There is plenty of things that I haven't seen in other Daisos. Prices went up recently for all Daisos. Now instead of $1.50 for regular stuff, it is $1.75. There were plenty of parking outside. The staff here were good. I had no issues. I just came here, grabbed what I needed, and left. Overall, it is a pretty nice Daiso.

Shopping in Northern California... When I visited my friend in Northern California, she promised to take me to a Daiso. Why would I go to Daiso when there are two locations on Oahu and so many in Los Angeles? Every Daiso carries different merchandise. Some of them will sell out of a certain item while others have many of the same item. Most times, the price is $1.50 unless otherwise marked. In Japan, items are 100 yen unless the sticker indicates a higher price. I usually look for Hello Kitty products. This time, I found a chip clip and a toothbrush! Yay! It's like a treasure hunt for me! I liked the free (shared) parking lot, the air conditioning (it was a warm day in July), and the spacious, clean, and bright environment! I hope to return soon!

Just like every other Target store you can find some great value deals on all kind of household goods. Sadly, that does not necessarily mean you can find that store wide. As a true sign of the times, the cost of goods has gone up. Target, as a company, tries to offer, off brand products now to give the illusion that cost have not changed. Sadly, the quality of those products just aren't as good. If you don't believe me just read the reviews on those products. It speaks volumes. So be mindful of that. On the bright side. The staff here are wonderful, hard working individuals. My experiences have always been pleasant and positive. When I interact with them has always been very nice and professional. Parking can be a pain if you're going during the busy hours. So, I usually recommend going early as possible. Maybe even when the store opens at 8 AM. Overall, although I don't shop at Target as much as I used to anymore. I will always recommend this location because when I did. It has always been a pleasant experience. Let's just say, If I had to grade it. I would give it a solid B+.

I needed to return four brake rotors after Amazon screwed up my order multiple times and Kohl's was the only return option they were willing to offer me. The rotors weigh 40-50lbs each. I thought I'd just load them up into a shopping cart to make the journey to the back of the store easier, but, surprise, surprise, you can't take a Kohl's shopping cart past the front door without the wheels locking up. I went back and asked the incredibly old person working the returns counter if I could use one of the numerous orange carts they had sitting around completely empty to help move the heavy items. He said no and suggested I get some friends to come help me instead. I said I'd just bring them in one at a time and stack them on the counter in trips and then get in line when they were all there. He said that would be fine. As I'm bringing them in he stops me and tells me that I have to remain with the items at all times or else some kind of magical alarm will sound because the Kohl's building is somehow capable of detecting unattended items. I pointed out that the entire store is nothing but unattended items because nobody's shopping there and the only two clerks are just standing around staring at their phones. He did this weird bowing thing that made absolutely no sense while continuing to insist that I must remain with the items at all times. I asked him how I was supposed to stand in line at the returns counter and remain with the items that were already at the counter at the same time. He could not understand the fact that this was physically impossible but eventually suggested that I go get a shopping cart and wait in line with that. I pointed out that I could not go get a shopping cart and remain with the items at all times and he once again just glitched out and started rambling about some kind of alarm that absolutely does not exist. That was when I stopped listening to him and just got in line. I started moving the rotors over to where he could scan them and he started complaining about how heavy they were. No kidding, grandpa.
