Being a disabled veteran and police officer I do use a chairlift which they tried to blame the stain on. The chairlift doesn't come in contact with the ground nor is it the same color as the stain. simply put i feel singled out as a disabled veteran and truly believe it was the easiest way for the company to explain the stain. The cleaners who came out are supposed to document any damage noted before the service. I can attest that the damage was done afterwards and we notified them immediately. they did send out a cleaner who removed the stain however, they tried to bill us for it. This is after they admitted fault and stated they didn't correctly document the incident. As a result the quality and service was poor. Definitely not a company I will do business with again. I use to waste 4+ hours on a Saturday just to clean my bathrooms and I was over it - time is money after all! LIVING SITUATION: I live in an apartment with no pets or children so the reason I originally sought out a cleaning service was to have someone come in to clean the bathrooms. After doing extensive research--I'm talking like I called pretty much every cleaning service in Charlotte you could find on yelp--I landed on Enjoy Maids and I'm glad I did. COST: For $59.50, I have the same "maid" come once every two weeks for 2 hours. I work from home so it's easy for me to work in the office while she cleans. Augriem is our "maid" who is super friendly and fast - which really helps me justify why I spent ~$120 a month. Before she arrives, I write out the areas I would like her to clean as well as an "if you have extra time" list and she typically gets through both! Plus, she tolerates me with my micromanaging lists. Typical tasks include deep cleaning of 2 full baths, mopping, vacuuming, dusting of a 1200+ sq ft apartment. HOURLY: Through my research of all cleaning services in Charlotte, not many offer this flexibility to do hourly, most were asking for $100+ for the entire apartment, and I just don't need all of that! By having Augriem here biweekly, we can "rotate" the areas that she cleans. For example, one week on top of the typical bathroom/vacuuming she does, I had her clean and sweep up our patio and another week I had her clean the windows. Stuff that you and I will avoid until we "have time" which let's be honest -- we never will! :) CUSTOMER SERVICE: What I also really like about Enjoy Maids is that they have an online chat service so it's really easy for me just to go to www.enjoymaids.com and IM with one of their staff members to either reschedule, or track down my "maid's" ETA. This is really handy because while they try to stay close to your appointment time, they do have a 4-hour window and sometimes will come 30 minutes-2 hours later than your scheduled appointment time, so it's easy to check in on their status for the day with their IM service. Using EnjoyMaids has allowed me to get my weekends back, enjoying my time off to spend with family and friends -- not stuck all day in the house cleaning! Highly recommend to anyone who values their free time and enjoys a clean apartment.

On a positive note I am sure these matters would have been addressed eagerly if I'd requested, but there was not time for that as our move in was scheduled for the next day.

PROJECT LEFT UNFINISHED & TIME WASTED! A complaint has been filed against DJO Home with the Better Business Bureau. We had someone come out to our come in July, twice, to do an estimate for a fence staining project. They sent us the contract and we sent them 50% deposit. They started the project in September and two days later everything went downhill from there. The same guy who took the estimate, Shane, was working on the fence staining. He called me two days into the project to let me know that most of the front of the fence was completed, however, he requested more money to complete the inside of the fence since he underestimated the project cost. The day after this conversation, he called in "sick" with food poisoning. My conversations (via phone, text, and thumbtack messaging) for the next five business days were with the office coordinator, Rochelle. She told me she spoke with the owner, Alex, and the estimate was not going to be the customer's fault. She said they would take care of finishing the project and honoring the contract. The communication and professionalism was at its worst, as I constantly had to be the first to message and call to see when the staining would be completed. My last straw was when I came home from work to find two ladies and a little girl trying to finish the remaining front of the fence (staining it by hand), and they did a terrible job. That same afternoon, I finally spoke with Alex and all he wanted was more money to finish the project. The owner should have initially reviewed the contract to make sure it was accurate, should have called the customer to follow up on how the project was coming along, should have sent someone else to finish the project if a worker was out sick for a week, and should have definitely honored the contract and took accountability for his employee's mistake. Even the work that was completed on our fence was not done as promised as there was only one coat of stain done on the outside, inconsistencies (some stained by hand/brush and some stained by the machine), and there was plenty of trash left in our yard and around our fence that we had to pick up. This new fence, which also cost us thousands to put up, is now unfinished and destroyed with the job they did. We have to pay someone else to fix the inaccuracies on top of finishing the job. I would not recommend hiring this company due to their inaccurate estimates, lack of professionalism, the inability to take accountability, lack of trust, and lack of overall respect for the customer. There is nothing "family like" about this small "family business."
