I am updating my review from a year ago. Although I will say for the most part they still clean fairly well, we have had a couple of issues, that is not the reason for my update. I am beyond annoyed with this service and their lack of respect for my supplies and belongings. I am 99 percent of the time home when they are here but I do try to stay out of their way and there are 4 of them and one of me. That being said they are super to furnish their own cleaning supplies unless I ask them to specifically use something that I furnish. I have only asked that they use my Bona for hardwood floors, which they have stopped doing. Not because I don't have it they just don't. BUT...my bleach, my Downy Unstoppables, my Barkeepers Friend, my Bounty, my Fabuloso have all been taken not for use in my house. I just went to do laundry and my SPLASHLESS Clorox was filled with water and that is not the first time. The other issue is doing it a little at a time, how do you prove it?! They come weekly so it is rare that I need to use my cleaning products and then they are gone or watered down. I call it in and they say they ask the team but NOBODY has done it. Spending more than $250 a week and getting robbed, any suggestions on a new cleaning service. read more

I simply had an amazing experience with the maids! Booking was simple and easy. I received a quote through Yelp. I called the number and gave them my details then set my date, which was within a week. The maids arrived on time with all their equipment. It was three of them, I did a move out clean with carpet cleaning. There was a simple little mixup that was quickly resolved with great customer service by the call center. At the end of the clean, there were minor details I saw that the maids promptly took care of. I highly recommend them and if I were still in the area I would definitely use them again! read more

Contacted The Maids to have a cleaning before an Open House; they gave me a quote and the The Maids arrived during their expected arrival window. I received a phone call stating that they could require up to an additional 30 mins of cleaning due to excess dust and this would be $97; however, it would be prorated if they didn't use the entire 30 mins. I hesitantly agreed, although I did not believe my house was that dusty, since I had recently prepped it for being placed on the market. When I returned home, I discovered my receipt, totaling $453, along with my dining room chairs not returned properly under the table, random dust/hair bunnies on the floor, items removed from under the bed and placed in the closet, and oil spots on my quilt. I immediately called and spoke with Bobbi, who reduced the cost of my cleaning to compensate for my dissatisfaction and the ruined/irreplaceable quilt. Afterwards, I checked my home security cameras and realized that The Maids were only at my home for 2 hours, not 2 hrs and 30 mins, like they claimed and charged me for. While I was satisfied with Bobbi's customer service, I was quite unsatisfied with the woman who called to follow up with my cleaning today, who obviously had not read my file before placing the call and offered me no further compensation. I was VERY happy with The Maids. My wife and I moved out of our condo, and we ordered the "move out" cleaning. I really wasn't sure what this would entail, but basically, it was everything! Three maids came and immediately started working, even on things I was afraid I was going to have to do myself (cleaned inside each cabinet, cleaned the oven grates, the inside of fridge and microwave, etc.). Even a couple of places that were "test" spots were cleaned. There was a spider web over one of my lights, and a lot of lint behind my washer/dryer. They got it all! I needed a move-out clean for my single family home. I requested an appointment in the morning, and was told the Maids would call the day before my service to give me a two hour arrival window. My Appointment was not in the morning, but in the late afternoon. The Maids arrived and judging by their line of questions, were not familiar with what services exactly that were ordered. They were left to do their thing, which is probably where I went wrong. They didn't clean the laundry room, nor did they wipe down the walls or baseboards. They forgot one of the fridges and a freezer was still dirty. Considering how much I paid (nearly $300), and the fact that I cut out the vacuuming ( had a separate carpet cleaner), there's really no excuse for this. When the company called a few days later to ask how the services were, I explained and was met with an unapologetic tone. Whoever I spoke with said she'd make a note on my account and give me $25 off the next 3 appointments I schedule. Which is an empty apology considering I won't ever use them again, plus it just means dumping more money into their pockets. Unless they have services that are less than $25 meaning they'd be free. But I seriously doubt that. Lesson learned. Do the cleaning yourself. read more

Our house looked amazing after a morning with The Maids. Every cushion was vacuumed, the carpets looked amazing, every mirror was spot-free, you name it. Scheduling was a snap, from the first call to confirming the day before. Knocked down one-star due to the steep initial price and not knowing the time of the cleaning until the day before (makes it tough to schedule coverage at the house), but the actual cleaning was excellent. If I could give a 0 rating, I would. My property has been damaged, we were promised they would replace the expensive items & now their insurance company offered a fraction of the replacement value. My wife was so impressed with their first time service that we ended up signing up for bi-weekly service afterwards, even though I thought the price was pretty steep. ($400 first time, $200 bi-weekly) My wife was really impressed by their level of details so I went along with what made her happy. The first two times were great. They showed up on time and cleaned well. On last Friday, which was supposed to be our third service, they were supposed to show up between 3-5pm and didn't show up until 6:15pm. By then my wife and I were already out of the house and eating dinner. She left a key under the door mat but the maids couldn't get in and we missed the call about this (the call left to us around 6:20pm, by this time, we thought they were a no-show). She called back around 6:45pm and left a message saying that she's like to reschedule. She also emailed a person she's been in contact with the beginning. We said we'd take any appointment this week-- so far, no phone call back from them as of Tuesday afternoon. If no one gets back to reschedule by tomorrow, we are thinking of canceling the continuous service. It's a shame because my wife really liked them but we need folks who can deliver consistently, not just do great job in the beginning and fizzle. Update: Gave them an extra star for reconciling with us. The following service was very good! read more

VERY BAD SERVICE.I am very disappointed with the move-out clean.First they quoted a a charge of $187 for a condo that they have previously cleaned.In the middle of the cleaning they call me and say that they need more time and I will be charged $357.we had to handover the condo next day so I had no choice. They did such a bad job kitchen was left dirty .carpets were not vacuumed.My landlord was very upset and called another cleaning company and deducted 300 dollars from my security deposit.so on the whole I had to spend$657 for a horrible job.I called maids.com and explained my problem. These magical fairy cleaning ladies are THE BOMB!!! This was a first experience for me...I've talked about it for quite some time, but never took the first step. Well, I'm sure glad I finally did it! Long story short, I have sciatica that flares up sporadically, which means I can't clean my house like I want to! :( This time, instead of waiting until it subsided, I reached out to The Maids....on a Thursday evening, with the hope of getting my home cleaned the next day! Don't you know these magical fairy cleaning ladies came through and delivered! I got a call at 8am inquiring about my house, the team was here at 10:30. This was my first time using a cleaning service and I was very impressed! We had signed the lease on a house and were moving in in a few days, and weren't going to have time to give it a good deep clean. I submitted a request via the website for a quote, and received a call within an hour or 2. The woman I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and went through a very thorough list of what the cleaning crew would do for a move-in clean. She gave me an estimate of 2 hours for a 4 person team and was able to set me up with an appointment on fairly short notice, which I really appreciated. The crew showed up right at the end of the quoted time frame - I wouldn't have minded earlier but hey... I was quoted a time frame and they definitely hit it, so I can't complain about that! They went to work *immediately*, while the team lead asked me to show her around and explain what I would like done in each room. I was dubious 4 people would be able to clean a 4 bed/3 bath house in 2 hours but they were definitely hustling. Ultimately, they actually ended up finishing 15 minutes early! The team lead had me walk around and check everything, and asked me multiple times if I was satisfied with the quality of work - I most certainly was! They hit a lot of places I thought for sure would be missed - tops of door frames, tops of outlet covers, window frames, baseboards in corners, etc... all cleaned. I was really impressed with the attention to detail. A fair warning though - they don't do walls. Mine had some marks and smudges on them that I hoped they'd take care of but... not a big deal, really. I was very happy with the whole experience - from the initial quote through the call I received a few days later just to check in and make sure I was happy.
