I have never had a worse experience with cleaners in my life. I paid $400 for four women to do NOTHING to my house. I feel utterly robbed. The people on the phone when you book the service are wonderful and they are excellent salespeople - they tell you about the deep cleaning your home will get (inside cabinets and drawers!). When the maids arrived, it was a less than ideal circumstance because there were painters painting our dining room and cleaning brushed in the sink. I understand this was difficult to work around. However, there is NO FURNITURE in the house (we weren't moved in yet)... and we asked them not to mop our newly refinished floors with the dirty mop and water they planned to mop with. They didn't clean any of the cabinets or drawers. They cleaned nothing "they couldn't reach" so none of the top shelves were touched. They cleaned the stove but not the racks. They cleaned the shower and left soap scum and dirt throughout. It's disgusting. The main things we wanted were a clean kitchen and one clean bath and they fell so short of that reasonable goal it's atrocious. I could literally go on, but I've said enough. My next move is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau asking for a refund. read more

We received a gift card for a 1 hour cleaning so I booked a service for Friday at 1:30 about a week in advance. I called the day-of to verify that 1:30-2:30 was still the right time, and they said yes, and that they would call if anything changed. I explained to the person I spoke with that I needed to have the time correct because I have an animal who can't be around other people so I needed to remove her for the time of the cleaning. She assured me that I was scheduled 1:30-2:30 and that I would receive a phone call if anything changed. I arrived back home at 2:50 (gave them an extra 20 minutes or so to finish up) and their car was still parked outside. I called the office and they told me my cleaning was delayed by an hour and they would be done by 3:30. At this point my animal (and myself, as I obviously wouldn't leave her alone in the car) had to be in the car for an entire extra hour. I know that things happen, but they really should have called me to let me know they would be an hour late. The cleaning itself was just okay. Definitely got the major things but there were missed details, and they charged more than double what my local person charges me. read more

This was a great first experience with the maids! They were on time, and we're so nice to my kitty! My husband has been away for schooling for three months and I wanted to surprise him with a nice clean condo. For the price, it was well worth every penny! My condo looks and smells amazing! So just to clarify a few items with regard to my Yelp posting Thursday October 15th 2015 I received a call from the maids I had skipped a couple of cleans and was told I was being taken off the schedule and if I wanted to be put back on on a less regular schedule to call back which I did I was pretty horrified that I even got the call so I called back spoke to Heather told Heather I really wanted to be put back on the schedule didn't understand why I was being taken off and wanted to be put back on and I'm sure my neighbors who also use this service wouldn't want to hear about it that's pretty much a quote. Next day Friday October 16th I get a call from Nicole this time stating they don't want my business granted I had made a comment about the customer service on Facebook you would think they would want to correct the issue so I could go back on Facebook and see what great customer service this company has but no after Friday's phone call which I received around 3 o'clock in the afternoon I left two messages both of them focusing on customer service and I really wanted to get back on the schedule talk to somebody at cetera at cetera. No call as of Monday the 19th of October so today October 20th 2015 called on my way to work saying look you know I want to resolve this I do know that you know I do have a credit balance what he going to do about it I don't want to have to call the office of the Attorney General I want it resolved today I get a voicemail from the owner John who states he's going to send my check back that's great I'm glad that he's doing it and doing the right thing and yes he's correct in the amount no question but then he accuses me of threatening his staff and doing damage to his business well John I seem to think that you might have done that on your own by not returning someone's call to discuss an issue like a good company would I've been a loyal customer since 2009 on and off always treated the girls with respect offered of water when I was home offer them cookies left tips only one complaint regarding a clean how much better of a customer can you really get all I wanted was to be talked to about the schedule and this is what it's let up to Facebook rant and a yelp rant again I want to stress how bad customer services with this company if you want to do business with him fine I hope anybody out there doing business with them gets better treatment than I did pretty pathetic overall susan Hawes read more

Folks, I wouldn't worry about what Susanh posted. It seems she's not happy anywhere since 95% of her posts on Yelp are critical and nasty. Maybe it never occurred to her that when you repeatedly cancel your clean, you're creating wasted hours that could be productively spent in cleaning another home. Like, for instance, MY home?? LOL She could have been nice and placed herself on a 'call as needed' basis so that she wasn't clogging up a steady time slot. Seems to me (according to her rant) they offered to do that... But, enough about her and her moments of discontent. Let's get back to The Maids. I have been using them for so long I don't even recall when I started. I have no complaints with my team and find they are very accommodating, like today, when I needed to request that my team be here and gone by a specific time due to other things going on during my 'cleaning' day. And when my cleaning day falls during the holidays and I need to get them in here prior, somehow they manage to get the job done. Understandably, there could be days when accommodating MY needs might not be possible, but by and large, I have been fortunate. In the entire time I have had them I have only had two things damaged. One such incident was a nick in the skirting of my dining room table caused by someone trying to force arm chairs under. They had a great furniture repair/refinishing person here promptly. He was so great I sent him away with an old desk of my mom's that he refinished beautifully for me. The second time was a careless mistake of a 'new' cleaning person - a chip to the lid of an enamel sugar bowl. No problem, they bought me a new sugar bowl and lid, no questions asked - and it's wasn't a cheap sugar bowl. I have the same cleaning team plus or minus one person every time they come. I will admit that the only thing that occasionally makes me cringe is when they bring a trainee here... I'm not great about having 'strangers' in the more private areas of my home. I wish I could tell them to drop her off at the nearest Dunkin' and pick her up to resume their training when they're done here, but I can't. If a newbie is being trained and is on the schedule for my day I'm kinda stuck with her. That's the one drawback of having the main trainer be the lead for my team. The trade-off is that I know she's gonna catch anything they might miss and as a result I get a satisfyingly clean home. Try them, I think you'll be pleased. read more
