After having our grandparents grandfather clock shipped from New England to FL we felt it needed a complete checkup & cleaning. Lance was quick to respond & quite knowledgeable about clocks & all their mechanisms. He took the time & showed care & appreciation in regards to the clock & its craftsmanship. He also took on the challenge of a wall clock & a precious mantle clock. We had no doubts about his abilities. He definitely knows his trade. read more

The work has been properly and at a very fair price. I frequented him at his former location several years ago on Wickham Road. I've also had work done at a kiosk in the Melbourne Mall. The work is very good, but they are not bashful with price. I feel badly for the person whose interior of a new watch was messed up. I would agree that Randy is not much of a people person and can't apologize. We can only relate our own experiences, and if one is bad, then it's bad. I would not recommend, however, staying away from him based on the experience of others.

I figured it would be sometime in the future, but she told me that I could bring it right then. It was almost their closing time, and she told me that they would wait for me to get there. I arrived right at closing and dropped off my watch, they were extremely friendly and explained the pricing, which I found reasonable. To my surprise, I received an email two hours later, hours after they closed, explaining that my watch had several aftermarket parts that I was unaware of. When I picked it up, they explained in great detail all the issues they found, which prevented them from working on it. I called the dealer I bought it from, and they gave me a replacement watch, fortunately. I would have never known the issues with my watch and had the opportunity to exchange it, if not for Southeastern Service Center. To top it off, they didn't even charge me. There are still great people, and great businesses, in this world. This is absolutely one of them!!

We were desperate to find someone who knew about old clocks because our beautiful grandfather click stopped working. After no success finding someone in our area we called Mainspring Clock Repair--after hours (9 PM). We expected to simply leave a message. Lance answered the phone!!! We live 79 miles away and so were disappointed to learn that we are out of their service area. But something COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED HAPPENED: Instead of just saying, "I'm really sorry I can't help you." Lance asked, "What is the problem that you're having?" He helped us over the phone!!!! My husband, and I couldn't believe it!. Amazing--and our grandfather clock is working again!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...Lance!!!! read more
