I did take a quick walk around, and noticed parking all around but was lucky enough to park right by the coffee cart. There is a man with a coffee/drink cart as well a fruit man selling yummy assorted precut fruits.. playground is nice, both for littles and older kids. Plenty of seating all around, I would say this is definitely a cooler park for the older kids. Both my 2yo and 10yo have fun here!

Saw several families enjoying their afternoon with their kids. As nice as this park is, the location is horrible. Cars are constantly speeding and running red lights, which make it unsafe when walking with kids. Surprised their isn't a cop posted on this corner as the speeding takes placed directly in front of the fire department. The fact that pedestrians have to wait an additional 10 seconds to make sure there isn't a maniac driver ready to run a red is insane.

We thought it would be great for their health. The scenery is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, the air is fresh, and parking is free, which makes this place even better. One more thing made this visit extra special. The last time we were here, I was disappointed because I couldn't find the pathway lined with tall trees on both sides. This time, I happened to run into a park ranger, and he was incredibly kind and showed me exactly where it was. Thanks to him, I finally found the spot and was able to take some beautiful photos. The gardens here are absolutely gorgeous, and it's such a wonderful place to relax and go for a walk. I always enjoy coming here.

He is a small but mighty park in that while you see other people around, you never feel like it's crowded. There is a fountain in the center with small plaques near the encircling benches that detail some of the history of the area. For parking, I suggest checking out Canon Dr. or Beverly Blvd. There is too much traffic on the Sunset Blvd. side for me to feel comfortable trying to maneuver to find parking. Canon Dr. offers 2 hour street parking that is unmetered and a quick walk across the street. Make sure to add this to your list of future picnic spots.

There is a café where you can sit down, enjoy a coffee, and take a break. On weekends it can be quite busy, but it still feels pleasant and welcoming. During the summer, free concerts are held here on Thursdays, which makes the place even more special. The hotel architecture nearby is stunning, and this garden is also a great spot for photoshoots. Overall, it's a perfect place to relax, enjoy the surroundings, and spend some quiet time in the heart of Beverly Hills.

This makes it frustrating when it's crowded, and there are designated lanes for medium-fast swimmers, but they're taken up by slow/beginner swimmers. Had to wait around for 10 minutes until there was space. Needs to be a better of way of controlling/managing the lanes so that different swim levels can swim without the pool being completely overrun by slow swimmers, making it harder for other levels to enjoy the pool space.

There's a lot of shaded areas. There's a boat, space ship, tunnel, slides, rolling metal slide, balance beams shaped like balls, and so much more. It's a super inclusive playground with a diverse group of patrons as well. The bad: The parking lot had some cars that looked like people were living out of their car. There was a pee stench at the entrance. Toward the toddler area there was a guy smoking weed. The interesting: It has a LA theme with references to the observatory, freeway and more.

Looking for a special overlook view of Los Angeles that isn't too crowded?…read more Check out Jerome C. Daniel Overlook above the Hollywood Bowl (what a mouthful that was). This special overlook is above the Hollywood Bowl and a hidden gem to see Los Angeles (Hollywood) from a bird's eye view. You are right over the Hollywood Bowl Amphitheater and downtown LA. To the east, you can see the Hollywood sign (small in the distance) and also Griffith Park Observatory. There is a small (free) parking lot and a few benches if you would like to sit and watch the world go by. This overlook was built in 1984 and was named after Jerome "Jerry" Daniel, whom served on numerous of committees in the Santa Monica Mountains. He was very passionate about the mountains and worked tirelessly to preserve LA's history and nature. He helped to obtain over 50,000 acres of land for the public, which most of is now parkland. So this overlook is named in his honor. Views during the day, especially on a clear day, are beautiful and would be even better at night. However this little overlook is only open from Sunrise to Sunset.
