Other than parking, everything else was great. There is paid parking across the street. I was greeted at the door and was able to get in. It was a cool dark vibe that I like a lot. The bartender was very nice. He suggested the Palomino drink and it had very unique combinations. Tried few of the appetizers. My favorite was the braised tri tip. The grits were also good. Hummus and marinated feta was a delicate touch. Then as part of the Yelp Elite Event, we were given a tour of the Hotel. The hotel vibes were very quirky and wonderful. Would definitely stay here. The bunk bed rooms were so cute and apt for a family. The roof top bar gave Moroccan vibes, and offered a phenomenal view of Lexington.

The Manchester is a beautifully decorated place. The staff is friendly and helpful. I look forward to future visits.

Very aesthetically pleasing hotel with a rich traditional vibe, very classy. The bed was comfy with down comforter, lots of little touches in the room, communication with hotel via text was nice, good options for food/drinks on site, location for us was great due to a concert next door but also very close to the distillery district. No free parking... valet for $24/night or you can park in the lot across the street for $20/night. We were able to check-in early which was appreciated. Checked-out online so that was a nice convenience.

My expectations were exceeded upon my arrival at The Manchester hotel in KY. We had been driving for a few hours so we got in sometime in the evening. As soon as I opened the car door, the outside air smelled delicious so whatever they were cooking in there, I needed to have it! The parking was a bit confusing since there's a lot in front of the hotel but it was only for valet parking. It was only $20 for overnight parking and the valet attendant was super nice and very patient when he explained the process. Check-in was easy and you can tell that this was a new hotel. My room was beautifully decorated and I loved the Le Labo amenities in the bathroom. They had an electric kettle for coffee and a clothes steamer in the closet. Their attention to detail was impressive! I loved the thick down comforters which made the bed super cozy for me and my dog Lucy. Which is another great thing; they're also pet-friendly! Lucy and I had a great time and she also very much enjoyed her stay at The Manchester.

Food was stellar, can't speak for the hotel. Atmosphere is great. Staff was amazing . Really unsure as to the low reviews

Valet service is terrible. Attendants carry condiments and squeeze them on cars in the parking lot with handicap plates.

Disgusting trash place. The servers are some of the rudest people I've come across. The service is terrible.

We were in town for an industry Christmas Party at the hotel…read more We were in one of the banquet halls and had our own bartender and a buffet dinner. The hotel is older, but everything looks nice. Our room was spacious and the bathroom has been updated. Our room had a beautiful view overlooking Triangle Park. We ordered late night room service and had the Buffalo Wings and Hummus Platter. The food was good and saved us from going to bed "hangry".

I do want to note that though the Hotel and Conference Center are connected it is a very, very long walk between them. If you have mobility issues, you'll definitely need a wheelchair When we first arrived, the concierge didn't have any carts available and we were on the 11th floor with many bags. After a bit of waiting (following an 8-hour Drive) they finally found a cart for us and helped us to our room. The self parking is right across the street and very convenient The rooms are decent sized and clean. One nice surprise was that the refrigerator in the room has a clear door so you can see what's in there. It reminded me of a wine chiller and gave the room an elegant feel. However there was one major item missing in the room - no microwave. When I'm traveling, I frequently have leftovers from a meal out that I want to heat up later, so a microwave is close to being an essential. Frankly I can't recall the last time I was in a hotel that didn't have the microwave in the room. They have one restaurant for the entire Hotel and the one time we wanted to eat, it was closed. There are no decent restaurants nearby so we had to eat at a sports bar across the street. We did order room service one time and it came up promptly. The prices were not bad and the food was pretty good. The TV reception which is frequently a problem in hotels was very good at the Hyatt and they had a decent selection of options for the channels but you had to search for an online channel guide because they didn't have a printed one in the room. The shower stall is huge and has a beautiful full-length glass door but the water pressure is only so-so. The last day of our stay, I had to wait 4 or 5 minutes for hot water which was very disappointing. All in all, my first stay here was okay but I expected far more from a Hyatt Regency. If it were not attached to Lexington's main Conference Center, I would probably look for another option next visit.

Bookings.com said I had to contact hotel and hotel said to contact Bookings.com to receive refund. Disappointing runaround and no refund. I've stayed at a few boutique/privately owned hotels before, and I will say, I've always been concerned about lack of security. I liked the fact that you needed a key card to get to the actual hotel portion of this hotel, which made me feel better about my safety, but will say I didn't see anyone at the desk when I left early in the morning (around 6am) on my departure date. My room was super spacious. I had a corner room that had two separate rooms, one included a sofa and sitting room with a TV, bathroom, and wetbar, which included a microwave and refrigerator, which was a nice touch. I also had a separate bedroom with a large king bed. Why the four stars? Temperature wise, it didn't seem like the thermostat worked well. When I adjusted it, it would go back to the original temp, so it made the room either too cold or too warm at times. The second thing that I docked a star for was I was on the third floor and when I arrived on the third floor, I got a whiff of cigarettes. I never saw anyone on this floor, so I don't know if it was actually someone, or it was embedded in the carpet. The good thing is the smell was NOT in the room, so that was a positive. I wish the bed had been a tad more comfortable, but if you like a firm mattress, they have the bed for you. Beware, this hotel is near a local hospital, so you may need to bring a sound machine to drown out the siren noises.

The rooms are small with the basics but we didn't have consistent A/C, reliable lighting, and no leg room to use the toilet. The floors are difficult to walk and navigate as they're uneven and posed several tripping hazards. It's quite a maze to navigate and the only central area for guests to spend time together outside of their rooms is out front which is nice except for the fact that the smokers also go out front so be prepared for secondhand inhalation. We read online that there was a pool, only to find out upon arriving that the pool has since been removed. That was a bit of a let down, but can't fault them for our misunderstanding. It is located in a convenient spot with access to many local places. I would definitely recommend trying "Pollo Azul" if you're looking for a place to eat while staying here. The venue staff that were bartending for the wedding were highly irritable and inconsiderate. One of the elder bartenders pushed over the beer stand and asked guests to help her clean up.

With the Hilton name attached, I expected a much higher standard, but overall, the accommodations felt subpar. The room was a major letdown. It felt stuffy and had a strong musty odor that made it uncomfortable to relax. The windows were painted shut, so there was no way to get fresh air. Basic amenities were also lacking--no complimentary water and no refrigerator, which was surprising at this price point. The use of dark paint in the rooms felt like an attempt to mask the age of the property rather than invest in a proper renovation. On a positive note, we really enjoyed the food at the Rackhouse Restaurant--it was the highlight of our stay. Overall, I would recommend the restaurant, but NOT the hotel accommodations.
