I've put off writing this review for a few weeks because my practitioner was so nice and I had a great time chatting with them. But the actual attention to detail wax was very disappointing. I may return and try a different practitioner someday. This was a wildly different experience from my previous waxers, and unfortunately not in a positive way. The lack of attention to details so frustrating, especially now I have to go home and be raising hair on my own after paying for it to be done. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of two or three is because they are very friendly accommodating there. When I went in for my first laser hair removal appointment, I specifically asked about the price beforehand. I was told it was about $400 for the two areas I wanted treated, and when I asked how many sessions that covered, I was told up to 10 sessions. Even the receipt listed the price by "area," not per session, which made it sound like the price was for treating those areas rather than a single treatment. During the appointment, I even made a comment to the technician saying "That's really expensive if I have to pay that every time." She proceeded with the service without clarifying that the price was per session, which led me to believe the price was for the treatment of the area overall. When I came back for my second session, I was shocked to be charged the same $400 again. I spoke to the manager explaining that the pricing had been miscommunicated to me, but they refused to take any responsibility or offer any type of refund. Instead, the manager made me feel like I was lying and insisted their technicians are "very well trained" in explaining pricing. I asked many questions before starting because I wanted to be clear about the cost, and the information given to me was not clear at all. This was especially frustrating considering how much money I've already spent at this practice over the years. To make matters worse, years ago I had a spot removed on my leg there, and the surgery resulted in permanent bruising on my lower leg. I went through multiple treatments with them to try to fix the damage, and eventually they wanted to charge me $500 per laser session to correct the issue they created. After already spending so much money, I refused and am now left with a permanent mark on my leg. I originally went there to improve my skin and feel more confident, but instead my leg was left worse than before.
