My boyfriend and I came for a night just to get away. This Place is wonderful. Every little detail is thought out and the owners make you feel very welcome. Everything from the food to the room to the surroundings were beautiful. Check them out and enjoy as much as we did.

What a gorgeous and charming venue--perfect for a weekend getaway, wedding, anniversary celebration or special event! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff is extremely accommodating and warm. Beautifully decorated rooms, delicious food. The bucolic views are amazing. I highly recommend The Manor at Airmont for a special and delightful experience, leaving wonderful and lasting memories! P.S. The chocolate chip cookies are extraordinary!

The Manor At Airmont is first class! We had Easter Brunch there and it was a beautiful experience. Our entire family loved it. The food the atmosphere the charm of the Manor was lovely! We can't wait to go back!

My girlfriend and I attended the Valentine's Chef Tasting Experirnce 2021. It was an absolutely exceptional event. We can speak highly enough of the service we received and the reception of the host, not to mention the incredible food. Six courses to include a charcuterie table, tenderloin prepared to perfection, steaktinis, stuffed mushrooms,Asian inspired fare, and wonderful drinks to spark the imagination. The French Kiss was our favorite, but the Smoky Old Fashioned and Hibiscus Margherita were a close second. The wine served with the main course was exceptional as well. The evening could not have been more romantic or enjoyable than it was. We hope the Manor will host thus type of event again as we will most certainly be back. Incredible Incredible visit. Thank you again!!!

I wanna come back already! My husband and I had a wonderful time. It was so peaceful and a great getaway. 40 min's from our home. We definitely wanna come back and experience another room. The customer service was better than expected. Made me feel at home away from home. The food was AUH- MAZ-ING!!!! We took a nice walk before turning in. Was so quiet and saw so many deer. I can't say anything bad about this place. We even got a cute little gift box with some milk and cookies.

Manisha and Prashsant, owners of Stone Manor Inn, were personally involved in making sure all went smoothly with our cocktail and dinner party, and it most certainly did! SMI is a lovely old country inn on 14 acres, I believe, with a number of different venues (indoors and out) for meetings, parties, and weddings. The rooms (7 in total) were eclectic, in a good way. All four of their largest rooms that we occupied were spacious, with king beds and spa tubs with separate showers. All were well maintained and clean upon check-in. We had no complaints. I'm not sure when we will return to the area, but when we do, we will not hesitate to return!

I was on the fence to book this place given its hefty price tag, and glad I went for it and completely agree with the glowing 5 star reviews. The bubbly host Manisha is very warm and welcoming. She cordially gave us a 20 min tour around the property, which was built in 1908, and even gave me a bonus tour of the other rooms afterwards. She kindly answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. The Peacecock Room is the most spacious and best room (aside from the bridal suite), elaborately decorated in peacocks. We loved it! The little touches like the handmade soap, a set of wine glasses, and a wine opener made the stay so memorable and special. While the rooms aren't temperature controlled, the electric flameless fireplace kept the room warm. The double capacity jacuzzi was perfect for my hubby and I and even had lights (some of the other rooms have smaller jacuzzi, so be sure to check). The rooms were clean minus a couple of lady bugs and stink bugs (which is too be expected out in the country). Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The backyard is well groomed and really spacious with a nice patio and heat lamp, which kept us warm sitting outside in the frigid winter. Our dog loved running around! You can see the stars and constellations really well. It would make a great wedding venue! The Christmas decorations around the property are really nice. The owners really go the extra mile and put a lot of TLC into the property. The 6 course breakfast is delicious and bursting with flavor. Between the veggie quiche, cheesy potatoes, scone, pancakes, yogurt, and fresh OJ, I was stuffed! The fresh butterscotch scone was divine and devoured my mine and my hubby's! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room. Manisha and her family greeted us and thoroughly explained the dishes and chatted with us for a bit, even her son made an appearance! The bed and breakfast has a nice bar with wine, cider, and alcohol based on an honor code system. Water and soda is complementary, they even had Coke 0! The complementary fudgy brownies by the breakfast area during the day were sweet and tasty. Again the little complimentary stuff gives this bed and breakfast a nice resort feel. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back!

The cottage is renovated from the old kitchen building of the poor house, and has two levels, a large bedroom and bathroom with a clawfoot tub on the upstairs, and a full kitchen and sitting room on the ground floor. For the price that is an exceptionally great lodging. Our own rooms in the house were also excellent. The breakfast we received was top-notch. Like a photograph from Martha Stewart. Celleste, the innkeeper and restaurateur, was exceptionally friendly and made the arrival process seamless. We chose to pay for early check-in, which was well worth it, especially because I had scheduled a massage. The massage therapist came directly to our room, making the experience convenient, relaxing, and a wonderful way to begin our stay. When we entered the room, we were greeted with a bottle of prosecco and chocolate-covered strawberries, which was a lovely touch and set a celebratory tone for the weekend. The room itself was charming, clean, and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and an inviting atmosphere that made it easy to settle in and unwind. Before dinner, we enjoyed cocktails at the bar, which was an excellent start to the evening. The restaurant offers an impressive wine list along with a wide selection of spirits, making it easy to find or request nearly any cocktail. We spent some time reviewing the wine list and initially selected a red, but once seated for dinner, we appreciated the guidance of their wine expert, who helped us choose a white wine that paired beautifully with the meal. For dinner, we selected the Four Course menu because we liked the flexibility of choosing our own individual courses, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The meal began with outstanding bread served with whipped butter, which was memorable on its own. Each course that followed was beautifully plated, served at the proper temperature, and paced perfectly. The attention to detail was evident throughout the meal, and the overall dining experience felt refined without being overly formal. The following morning, breakfast was another highlight. The frittata was excellent, and the croissant was flaky, buttery, and exactly what you would hope for at a French-inspired inn and restaurant. Service throughout our visit--from the bar to dinner and then breakfast--was consistently professional, attentive, and personable. Every member of the team contributed to a relaxed and memorable experience. Overall, L'Auberge Provencale Inn & Restaurant is a wonderful choice for a romantic weekend getaway. Between the comfortable accommodations, thoughtful amenities, excellent food, and genuinely warm service, it provided the kind of experience that feels both special and personal. We would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable escape.

I came across the same clip in a rail safety ad, which made me look up directions to Harpers Ferry from DC. The historic park/town is served by the very MARC trains that pass outside my DC window each afternoon. You can describe Harpers Ferry as *deceptively* close because it's a 90 minute train ride, with planes flying into Dulles close enough to make out the airline. Looking for hotels there, Stonehouse Bed & Breakfast was the first that came up, with great reviews. Chris was very helpful and responsive via text and email. I booked the Top Room, which was $170 for a night including taxes. The quaint B&B has three accessible floors, as the family naturally lives onsite. The first floor is the main entrance with the common/dining areas, and the patio overlooking Maryland Heights and the Potomac/Shenandoah Rivers. The second floor has more rooms, one with a full balcony. And the third floor is the Top Room, with windows overlooking each side of the vintage building. If you Google pictures of Harpers Ferry, Stonehouse is in nearly all of the shots, since the balconies are front and center of the skyline. The town itself is like a real life snow globe. But the B&B, the litany of museums, eateries and shoppes around it, as well as the train station directly across the street make it an overall ideal place to stay, be it for hiking, or for something else: A love of trains is what brought me to Stonehouse, so take note that rail traffic can be heavy in certain times of the day. But the light rumbles also helped put me to sleep in the already soft, cozy bed. A container of water was provided, and while glasses should have been cleaned of dust first, it was still a really nice touch. The room also had playing cards, ear plugs, plenty books and a whole lounge chair. Checkin was a simple set of instructions at the door with my name on it, with checkout simply being your absence at the appropriate time. In my case, I only booked an overnight stay, getting in at 8pm and leaving around 6:30am, with checkout/checkin being the traditional 11am/4pm. While I didn't stay for complementary breakfast, I did catch a stellar sunrise between the mountains, as well as nature footage from the neighboring park. All of that to say, I definitely look to return to Stonehouse B&B later this year.
