We're going to try the VIP area next year because being in GA, you needed binoculars to see anyone unless they played on the secondary stage in the back. Some "B" level singers were back there but you can get close there. They do have big screens all over the area but not the same as being close. Overall a decent experience, the lineup made it all worth while. For those of you cowboys/cowgirls who wear boots, bring sneakers!! I promise you'll regret it if you don't. Don't drive there and schedule your uber in the morning before you go. It's a madhouse trying to get out of there and if you don't schedule an uber....good luck!! IMO, worth the money.

This festival is held every year at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church. It's a hugely…read morepopular festival if only for the the food. Some of the vendors have some interesting items for sale. I even saw a few "Belly Dancer" outfits. The reason we came was mainly to try the food. Now I absolutely love Greek food and I think I may have spoiled my wife when we were hungry one time while in Ft. Hamilton, Brooklyn and I took her to a local Greek Food Truck where she had her first gyro. I think she judges all gyros based on that delicious experience. Anyway, does the festival's food meet that mark? Not really but they are putting out an incredible amount of food and it would be near impossible to feed the thousands of people who come here in the few days of the festival to meet that standard. Our gyros were flavorful but they were also a bit skimpy. They were made and ready when we ordered them so they weren't cut off a vertical spit while we waited but if they made all of them to order the line would extend to the North Carolina border. I though they were good, not great. But hey, you come to these festivals to get experience different cultures within America and this festival definitely gives you the Greek-American experience.

There are lots of activities for the young and young at heart throughout this outside mall area. It's kinda a touristy spot as you have many attractions $ including: Bungee, Speed Boat Experience, zip line, small rides, a Ferris wheel, a theater. Not to mention it's all on the ocean. There are a variety of shops selling the usual fare, but it's a nice walkable area with much to offer throughout your walk experience. I picked up a few things for gifts to bring home and really enjoyed my time with family here. My son is an Eagle Scout and I was an Adult Scout Leader for almost 20 years. So I am used to performing for children. There was a small girl, about 3 years old, sitting next to me in her mother's lap. Every time I would wave my flag and cheer she would stare at me. So I started talking to her in my best "grand father voice." Got her to smile and start waving her hand in the air when everyone else was cheering. Her momma smiled at me for making her little girl happy. Funny how that was one of my favorite moments of the show.

Myrtle Beach none of the actors sing the songs like the other locations just lip sing . The acting and acrobatics are great just the lip singing takes away so much from the show . We always pay for the vip and the other locations open the doors and seat the vip's first and then the next groups as follow . This one they opened the doors and just let everyone flood in and nobody helps you find your seating . There were multiple other VIP groups who paid for the VIP that also did not get their meet and greet . We were all told to go up stairs to a section and wait for the meet and greet , all groups waiting never got their meet and greet . We all waited until doors opened and we were told to go find our seats . Complete disaster for seating and complete disappointment not getting the meet and greet we paid for , 4 tickets for VIP are not cheat . The photos at this location were shot on cellphones and they still charge you thru the roof absurd pricing for them . The one picture was $36 (I believe )for the cell phone photo . The server we had Shaq (yes like the basketball player's name ) was an amazing server , very attentive , polite , joked , played the part and an all around awesome guy .
