I haven't done laundry here in years, but this place has really improved. The machines are great and it's never overly crowded. But the real reason it's so much better is they have a fabulous person on staff here named Monte. Monte was nice enough to help me with the big machines along the back wall. He says there from Germany and are Superior to the old style box machines. He showed me how to operate the machine and was very professional. They are really lucky to have him. I'm not a brain surgeon when it comes to operating laundry equipment. Needlessly to say Monte is a wonderful addition. Having a 711 a few doors down is also nice. read more

Our dryer broke and we had to use the laundry mat a few times. I would say this was our go to laundry mat. One, it's located in a parking lot with plenty of parking. 2. It's not crowded. 3. It was well lit and seemed safe (although I can't imagine anywhere in Fairfax not safe). It's not the cleanest place. It's a bit older. When we were there, there were a couple of machines that were out of order. But, the laundry mat served it's purpose. read more

I rarely used this laundry mat, but in the last two weeks, I had no choice but to choose the best laundry mat in Marin. My problem is that there is this lady who hangs around doing laundry/washing, she doesn't give a rice about given you space, to move around so others can dry. Is this a laundry mat and eventually you get your clothes clean? Yes. Is is smelly, dirty, and have a few broken machines? Yes. Are some of the other customers shady? Yes. Our machine broke and we needed to do a few loads. I haven't been to this laundry mat in about 14 years, I just remember it was bigger with lots of machines. Pretty sure there haven't been any upgrades in the last 14 years. You get 8 minutes for drying for a quarter. You can clearly see the sharpie'd 8 written over the original 10 minutes sign. We went as a family unit and grabbed lunch at Iron Springs around the corner after we loaded our machines. The machines all ended a few minutes apart even though they were all started at the same time with the same settings. The feel of this mat is that if you leave for too long your stuff could be rehoused by a stranger. I almost put my clothes in a machine that had a strong fecal matter aroma and mystery liquid in the bottom. One bonus is the vending machine did work. Two bounce dryer sheets for 75 cents, in the event you forgot yours. read more

Pros: Plenty of parking spaces, dryers, and washers for any size loads. Dryer gives you more minutes to the quarter, (compared to other laundry mats.) Cons: Semi clean laundry mat. Some machines don't work and some work okay. No refunds when writing to the manager about an inoperative machine or not getting the exact change from the change machine. read more

This laundry mat seems to be a healthy balance of lotso machines vs customer volume. However, it is a little disheveled it appearance. The floor tiles are peeling and dirty and everything looks straight out of the early eighties. The machines are a combo of new and old. They do have high capacity machines with one monster load washing machine. Cell signal sucks here but that is par for course in this area anyways. read more

This was a good experience as far as laundry mats go. I don't frequent them often but for large blankets it did the job. The owner also happened to be there and was very nice and friendly, he even gave my 3 year old some chips after another customer snapped at him for being a kid and laughing too loud. Smh. Anyways loved the large parking lot, lots of parking and safe as far as traffic goes. read more

Clean and safe. One really big machine, and a few double sizes. Fair prices, fast dryers. I wish they would add credit card machines. No bathroom anywhere, except at the pizza place, if you are interested in eating there. read more
