We stumbled here by accident last week but life brought us near here again this week. We love visiting bakeries and in our true fashion, we ordered a lot! When we checked out- the gentleman said, "$17 something". I can't remember the exact change. We asked several times, did you get this or that. He indicated yes. We went back the second time, and thinking this time must be a lot more, again, the gentleman said, "$20 something ". What? How is this possible? We liked everything we ordered. If you love your self don't buy here. I bought almost $50 deserts. We left the area like 30 miles away and found out that empanadas were full of mold . We went back and showed to the cashier and asked for manager he never showed up " He said was busy" . The cashier gave us money back but no apologies or anything like that. Personally asked if he has to say anything, he responded " I have nothing else " l had to ask for an apology and beg him to remove and check everything else they have on those glasses cabinets, and have mercy for other people's health and safety. Wow, did not expect their cupcakes to taste so good. It was moist, creamy, and the perfect size. The ones I ate were the cannoli ones and Ferrero Rocher one. Both tasted amazing. I got a strawberry, raspberry, peanut butter, and Oreo cupcake for my neighbors which I'm sure will be a hit. The lady at the counter was super nice and they also had other baked goods like a pineapple empanada that was absolutely perfect. Also, the price is really good compared to other places. You truly get value out of your purchase here. If I lived closer to them, I would definitely visit more often whenever I had a craving for some sweets. read more

I was looking forward to trying this place but it ended up being a huge disappointment and a waste of money. I got their ~$8 cup of flan and it tasted like it was really old and moldy. I ended up throwing it away because it was totally inedible. I got some other items as well but it was lackluster. I won't be returning. :( read more

This bakery is not what you see on Yelp. I can't speak to the quality of the food but I can say that the actual selection in the store is minimal and I arrived on a weekday at 8:15 am. No donuts, no muffins as pictured. Don't make a special trip here. You will be disappointed. read more

Cute little shop with lots of pastries and cakes. I tried a couple donuts. Chocolate and strawberry ugh sprinkles. They were delicious. I saw a sign on the door that said they had tamales too. Elotes (with mayo and cayenne) was okay, it was pretty watery in the cup. Bread - I got about 36 yes 36 pieces. I told some friends I was going shopping and they ALL had to put in an order. I would say that I wish I had gotten there a little earlier. It was all decent enough but not anywhere as fresh as I would like. However, that stopped no one. I did especially like the cookies that were dipped in chocolate and were pretty tasty. I would try this place again. read more

The service is amazing, I've been twice and both cashiers were helpful and patient. The aroma when you first enter and in the pastries area is very pleasant. This is a great little bakery with fresh delicious pastries and cakes. I got several turnovers, donuts, and macaroons. The macaroons were for my mom and donuts for my kids. It is a mexican bakery with conchas (soft and sweet bread), cannolis, apple turnovers, and donuts. They have savory food like tamales. The bakery can make cakes for special occasions, like birthdays or weddings. We got a mini pecan pie (enough for 1), apple turnover, and Dulce de Leche Sandwich Cookies. All three were great. When you walk in, you can tell these people are baking all day. The lady behind the counter was extremely nice and patient while we decided what to get from all the options. There were cupcakes waiting to be frosted and fruit pies that were out to rest in the back. The bakery also has a small seating area (two tables each with four chairs) and a coffee/tea bar. I did not realize this was a Mexican bakery. It has quite a good selection of items all at very good prices. I really enjoyed their concha and fruit filled empanadas and the Nutella cookie. The donuts were just ok. I sampled their carrot cake as well, and the cake itself was really moist and had a good texture and flavor. The icing was not cream cheese ... Cute little bakery close to the airport! They had a huge variety of goods still available even in the late afternoon on a Sunday. It has a lot of items to choose from and the prices were reasonable. I purchased 6 cupcakes for under $10. I walked out every excited. We got our wedding cake from here. Can't remember the lady's name who helped me, but she was great. The cakes I've tried from here are moist and not too sweet. There were a few times I visited this location and it seems like the employees don't know how to deal with customers or answer some of my questions like "what's in this icing?" Anyway, literally entering my car I straight smooshed the cake - didn't even make it into the car! *cries in klutz* Enter amazing customer service: Within 10 minutes they were able to fix my cake so no one was the wiser. You probably can die from being too, very, super sweet. My taste bud went off the roof. I could not take the sweetness of Mayflower's pastry. Every pastry has intense/extreme sweetness. Aside from being too sweet, its breading is dry. Latino's baking technique makes bread dry. Mayflower has a variety of pastry but rarely you would see donuts. Besides, they make a different version of a donut. It is not the donut I am familiar with. read more

I was looking for a last minute birthday cake purchase and found this place nearby! It's a small bakery filled with wide variety of goodies. I got two slices of cake (one chocolate and one tres leches with fruit). They were both super light and delicious! They weren't too extremely sweet either. Then we went around the holiday to get cannoli shells without the stuffing since they are already soft when you buy them. The guy at the counter would not sell us the shells. No more for me. Mayflower is a nice little bakery in one of the strip malls in Linthicum. It clearly has a Hispanic bent, but they have a lot of the standard bakery items as well, so it's a great place to stop in for turnovers, biscotti, empanadas, cakes, etc. They don't have doughnuts (maybe so they don't compete with the shop up the street?) but that's okay given their selection of other items. They have an interesting system where you take a tray and tongs from a stack to use to grab the items you want, and take the whole thing to the counter to pay. Kind of a fun way to do it. The Mayflower Bakery just opened about a month ago. Super friendly customer service and a wide variety of pastries and donuts. I ended up getting a bagel, a concha, marshmallow fluff donut, strawberry donut and a custard filled caramel donut. Donuts were a little on the denser side so the texture wasn't the typical airy ones you expect but they were still quite good. My favorite was the custard filled one. Bagel was good too. Really great pick your own styled bakery with modern american, Mexican, and Puerto Rican influenced baked goods. Every one of them better than the last, and their macaroons are on point! Unprofessional!!! I made an appointment two days prior for Jan 4th. I arrived 10mins early for my appointment and was told that the manager was not there. I was fuming because I left work early to get there. I never received a call/email prior to my appointment that I needed to reschedule. Today is Jan 9th and I have yet to hear from anyone. I do not recommend this business at all!! I'm never going back. So unprofessional.
