I agree with all the other reviews... so many times ive driven by, usually on the way home thinking, boy I need to stop there some day! Just walking in the door you realize, youve made the right decision by how fantastic it smells! There is the regular deli counter, sandwich counter, freezers full of take home dinner goodness, and a nice seating area! I tried the "So this is why we have tastebuds" and added lettuce and tomato. It was so yummy and packed full of plenty of high quality meat and cheese. The deep river chips they have are really good, along with the spicy pickle! They have a pre-set sandwich menu, or you can build your own. The deli has some amazing looking steaks and bacon. There are lots of goodies in the freezer such as twice baked potatoes, stuffed peppers, pasta, and so much more! I look forward to coming back for more lunches and to grab some goodies to make a nice dinner!

Quality meats and superior service! They are always willing to cut whatever size steak you want. Also lots of great Sid's available too!

So here's the deal, I'm giving the chicken salad that we had for our main dish a four out of five.

There not 1 but 2 kitchen stores in it with most any tool you need to prepare your food! The cheese department is amazing! There was a little dark haired lady with glasses...didn't catch her name...but she is a cheese wizard! She found 2 obscure cheese for us on the shelves. There is a bar!! Yes a bar where you can get a beer or glass of wine! You can taste test wines before you buy! That is wonderful! And for you whiskey lover you can buy a shot of whiskey! The produce...fruits and veggies from all over the world! I actually found fresh prickly pears! Most everything is reasonably priced. If I lived near here I would need to build a large pantry onto my house! Lol...someone has a sense of humor for the restrooms! Thry were beautiful and clean inside! The cashiers were wonderful. A must visit place if you are in the Cincinnati area! Allow some time. We were there 4 hours and didn't see it all!

From 5 to 1…read more.. Jungle Jim's East has introduced us to countless foods and products that we likely never would have discovered otherwise. For many years, our weekly routine was to stop at Sam's Club for staples, then head straight to Jungle Jim's. We'd grab a beer, leisurely wander the aisles, pick up the rest of our grocery list, and almost always leave with a few unexpected treasures. Unfortunately, over the past several months we've noticed a steady decline in the overall shopping experience. Prices have increased noticeably, the quality and consistency of the produce department no longer seem to be what they once were, and many everyday grocery items have disappeared from the shelves. These aren't obscure products, but rather common items that many shoppers regularly purchase. After asking about the changes, a checkout clerk confirmed that Jungle Jim's is intentionally shifting away from being a traditional grocery store and focusing more heavily on its international market offerings. While we understand and respect that business decision, it no longer aligns with the reason we originally shopped there. What made Jungle Jim's special for us was the combination of unique international products and the ability to complete most of our regular grocery shopping in the same trip. As that balance has changed, we've found ourselves making additional stops elsewhere to find basic items, often at better prices. As a result, we've decided to move most of our grocery shopping back to Kroger. We'll still visit Jungle Jim's occasionally for specialty and international products, but sadly it is no longer our primary grocery destination. We sincerely hope management reconsiders the direction of the store, because we'd love to return to the Jungle Jim's experience that made us loyal customers for so many years.

We stopped by after a visit to the Newtown Candy shop. We took some lobster roll kits and clam chowder home. They pride themselves on fresh seafood regularly flown in from around the world. Their pricing is double Jungle Jims and triple kroger. Can't say good or bad until we try the fresh fish. For example they have many types of Salmon from around the globe. $49.99 for Sea Bass is pricey for me. I think Halibut was $39.99 a pound and the salmon was $20-$30 a pound. They also make their own sides. The clam chowder had too many potatoes. On Friday and Saturday nights they cook a few meals out back in a small tent/room. Main items are Lobster Rolls and Fish n chips.

In fact, I was so taken by the owner sharing the history of Lobsta Bakes and all of the items that are made onsite, that I completely forgot to take photos with one exception: the menu! From fresh fish to chowder, crab cakes, Lobster rolls, sauces, pies, and much more, this is a place you have to visit! I bought some clam chowder, lobster roll kits, crab cakes and lobster quiche- all were fantastic!

Since that store shut down and was demolished to make way for Wawa, I don't find myself going to Kroger that often but if I do, I wind up here. If you're a Kroger regular, I feel like this store has a decent selection and you'll find everything you were looking for. However, the overall experience makes this one of my last-choice grocery stores in the area. Every time I come to this Kroger I feel like I've taken my life in my hands simply pulling into the parking lot. There are cars driving everywhere, entering and exiting the gas station without looking, just pure chaos. Inside the store isn't much better. Most aisles aren't really wide enough for two carts so good luck if you end up shopping at a busy time. There are few places to pull over or park your cart to grab something so you're just always in someone's way, sorry about that. This store desperately needs a refresh, which I'm sure hasn't happened because of the mall fiasco, but if that doesn't get resolved I hope they might think about renovating this store.
