Then she asked, "Do you want some in your brows?" and I said "sure," assuming it was part of the same leftover amount -- no one mentioned there would be an additional charge. When I went to check out, I was suddenly told it was an extra $160, which felt very misleading. I couldn't exactly say "I wasn't aware, take it out." so I just paid and left. During my lip filler, she had the alcohol pad pressed on my nose, and I couldn't breathe without inhaling alcohol. I was panicking, trying to make noises and even move my head a little so she'd realize something was wrong, but she didn't notice until afterward and just said "oops, sorry" and the corrected herself for the rest. It was scary and one of the most uncomfortable feelings I've ever had during an appointment. Imagine only being able to breathe in alcohol. I work in sales, so I completely understand upcharges and add-ons -- but I also know the importance of transparency. Clients deserve to know exactly what they're paying for and where their money is going. I left feeling uncomfortable, blindsided, and disappointed after what used to be one of my favorite med spas.
