I've been to MedPhysique before and had a great experience with Dasha as my injector -- she was gentle, transparent, and professional. This time I had a different injector, and the experience was the opposite. She started by using leftover botox units from a previous visit around my crow's feet. Then she asked, "Do you want some in your brows?" and I said "sure," assuming it was part of the same leftover amount -- no one mentioned there would be an additional charge. When I went to check out, I was suddenly told it was an extra $160, which felt very misleading. I couldn't exactly say "I wasn't aware, take it out." so I just paid and left. During my lip filler, she had the alcohol pad pressed on my nose, and I couldn't breathe without inhaling alcohol. I was panicking, trying to make noises and even move my head a little so she'd realize something was wrong, but she didn't notice until afterward and just said "oops, sorry" and the corrected herself for the rest. It was scary and one of the most uncomfortable feelings I've ever had during an appointment. Imagine only being able to breathe in alcohol. I work in sales, so I completely understand upcharges and add-ons -- but I also know the importance of transparency. Clients deserve to know exactly what they're paying for and where their money is going. I left feeling uncomfortable, blindsided, and disappointed after what used to be one of my favorite med spas. I hope management addresses the communication and care standards here, because trust and safety should always come first read more

This review is long overdue, but I went to Med Physique last January for lip filler. I purchased a package that included half a syringe of lip filler and a lip flip. Melanie was so nice from the start and made me feel super comfortable, and even let me know if I didn't want to do the lip flip that day, I could always come back for it later on because I was hesitant on how that would look on me and ended up only doing the filler. The filler looked amazing! I received so many compliments and it was such a great confidence boost! It's been almost a year now and my lips still look amazing. The year before, I had gotten a full syringe of filler somewhere else in town that was done really poorly, didn't actually seem to be a full syringe (lips with half from med physique were way fuller) and also faded so quickly. I went here for jawline filler to help even out my uneven jaw and add a little definition, paid 9 HUNDRED DOLLARS, and left with LUMPS on my jawline. Not distributed correctly at all, I gave it some time to even out and nope! Still felt and looked horrible. So I went back to get it dissolved just to find out that WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE they injected me with filler that is NOT dissolvable!!! Never mentioned that to me once - if I would've known I would've asked for a different type of filler. Anyways I had to go back every week for months to get saline injected into my jaw to try and loosen up the filler so I didn't have literal lumps in my face. It was painful and I felt so dumb for even doing it in the first place. The saline helped a little but eventually I couldn't do the weekly pain routine anymore and just decided to let it dissolve on its own with time. I asked multiple times if I could get a refund or even a partial refund and was turned away. Truly one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my life when I just wanted to feel a little better about myself. $900 wasted and took a toll on my self esteem for months. I paid for 1 syringe of kysse. Did nothing. Got Botox, she only did my forehead even though I said I wanted some around my mouth. I chalked it up to me not effectively communicating what I wanted and just left. Didn't complain or anything. Just left. Mind you, I still have significant movement in my forehead despite 20 units of botox in just my forehead. The injector came in the room with the syringe of Botox already filled. I didn't see the vile, the needle being filled, nothing. So as far as I know, I may have been given super watered down botox. 2 weeks later, Paid for another .5 syringe of kysse a second time thinking maybe my lips were just incredibly small before and I needed to do some more. Did nothing. Reached out to the spa with pics asking why I don't have results. The manager nice and agreed that there was minimal/if any difference. I'll say she did accommodate me by offering a half syringe free of charge of a different "thicker" filler to see if that works better. I did however think they should comp me a full syringe of filler given I had already come in twice in two weeks to get a total of 1.5 syringes and a peel with no results. Apparently they thought otherwise because my email requesting a full syringe went unanswered and I was ignored. I told them I wanted juvederm ultra. At this point it's about 1 month after my very first appointment. I come in for the comped .5 syringe if juvederm and a mini peel/dermaplaning. Welp. I specifically told the manager I wanted juvederm ultra plus and she booked the appointment for that. It showed up in my email confirmation for the appointment reminder. Injector comes in. Numbs me. Leaves the room. I planned on asking her to show me the box before I got injected because I wanted to make sure it was correct and wanted to see the product was actually what they said it was. The injector didn't bring in the box. She came in with the syringe, nothing else. So I had no idea what it was but I assumed she grabbed the right product considering that was what was on the booking. And honestly I felt so uncomfortable and didn't want to make things awkward so I didn't ask her to show me the box at that point because 1 I felt uncomfortable.... 2 Whats the point? She already has the syringe and is ready to inject. Well after she injects I said... "that was juvederm right?" NOPE she said it was restalyn defyne or refyne. EVEN THOUGH it was supposed to be juvederm. I specifically asked for juvederm because that's what everyone I spoke to said I should try and I thought maybe restalyne just doesn't work well with my body. Then I ask about my peel. Well she didn't realize I booked for that. Apparently their esthetician quit without notice and so she said she could do the service herself. I said "if you want to I can come back another time. I don't want you to be late with your other clients". She said no it's fine. She goes ahead and "dermaplanes" me with what felt like a plastic stick which took all of 7 seconds. She must have thought I'm an idiot because I know dermaplaning is done with a scalpel. Them throws some chemical exfoliant on my face and rushes me out of the door. Took MAYBE 5 mins in total for the "dermaplaning and peel" Needless to say the entire experience was a massive waste of time and money. So ya. No surprise here, my lips look the exact effing same after a total of TWO SYRINGES of filler. My forehead still as a lot of movement. My face is fuzzy because it wasn't dermaplaned or properly applied with chemical exfoliant. In one month I spent over 1k on services and tips. And have nothing to show for it. Another reviewer said this place is the wish app of medspas and I'd have to agree. The worst part is I still want my lips done but I'm afraid to throw away anymore money going somewhere else because this entire experience at medphysique was so awful. Idk what I was injected with. (Didn't see the box and was not shown what it was) I dont know if it's my metabolism that prevented 2 FULL syringes of filler from doing anything and Botox from freezing my muscles OR if they aren't running this business on the "up and up" and are injecting fake filler and water down botox but either way, I'm extremely unhappy. I take ownership on my part because I wasn't direct and assertive enough when I wasn't getting the service or level of service I should have but I felt incredibly intimidated and uncomfortable and didn't want to piss anyone off when they were about to inject foreign substances in my face. Wow. The treatment at this spa is absolutely appalling. To start, they marked my groupon as redeemed BEFORE I had ever visited the office. When I called the owner said it wouldn't be a problem to come in. I scheduled an appointment for botox and added lip filler. The woman who did my filler did a TERRIBLE job. I asked for a natural look and she puffed up the center so much I looked like Jessica rabbit. The botox they did on my eyes was WAY TOO much and it completely ruined my wedding pictures. It gave me bags under my eyes which is way worse than the little crows feet I had. And when I tried to call to see if I could recover the unused portion of my Groupon the owner said they no longer provide facials and that it was "complimentary" to the Groupon when that's not in writing AT ALL. When I came into the office for my lips and botox, they said I couldl come back for a facial "anytime". But now they no longer do that and she made it known I wasn't going to be refunded for it. Which I was willing to accept, but the owner kept cutting me off, being extremely rude, I asked her to let me speak because all i wanted to tell her, was that I couldn't come back so if wanted to use the leftover vials I had or toss them they could, and she rudely replied " what am I going to do with those vials" and then cut me off again. I don't know. I'm just trying to be informative and after such a terrible experience did NOT need her to be that rude. Also she was fighting with someone else or her staff WHILE on the phone with me. Make sure you read their reviews. You get what you pay for. This is how Dasha left my lips. Had to pay to go to a plastic surgeon to fix because of the inadequacy of this place. They were good for a couple of years until Dasha overfilled my lips and I spent a year trying to get the filler dissolved. The owner is a horrible person who only cares about money and not her customers. Read her review responses and you will see the type of person she is. A legitimate place wouldn't have to advertise on Groupon looking for customers. Editing the review to respond to the owner's lies (not sure why she's addressing herself in the third person). Also, adding photos of what they did to me. 1) There was no lip migration. Dasha overfilled my lips. This was confirmed by Melanie & her Physical Assistant. I have this in text messages. 2) I have no clue what she is talking about with rescheduling appts. I came in 4 times to have my lips dissolved and still had filler left in them. In fact, for one of my prior appts I waited outside for 40 minutes because Dasha was so late to show up and open the business. Have this in messages as well. 3) I had my lips dissolved 4 times and still had filler left in then. I had to go to a plastic surgeons office to get them dissolved. They dissolved my lips in one visit. This cost me $500. I have it in writing that Med Physique purposely did not fully dissolve my lips because they were trying to save some filler and not have to refill them again. I NEVER saw the owner or a medical professional in person. 4) Melanie refilled my lips even when I still had some of Dasha's old lip filler left. This again left me with botched lips. Melanie told me her PA thought I had damage from all the dissolving she had done. 5) The owner refused to reimburse me for 1) what I paid for the Juvederm filler that was dissolved 2) the $500 I paid to get the Juvederm dissolved properly because the injectors have no medical training and don't know what they're doing. Proceed with caution. Once they mess up they won't fix the results. I went to a plastic surgeon and had my lips dissolved in one trip and refilled in one trip. Easy peasy. Beware of this Med Spa!!! They're using stolen pictures from a doctor in Australia (amp.cosmetic aka Andrea Peruzzo) with their own watermark on it and are claiming it's their client and work. They've been using these stolen photos to promote themselves since July 2022 (when I booked with them) and most recently posted the stolen photos on September of 2023 claiming it's their client and then again on November 29th 2023. My lips were done by Melanie and left uneven and an aesthetic eyesore. It's been over a year since I've been to them, I haven't had any filler since. I have migration above and under my top lip and on the outer corners of my bottom lip. I'll include a picture of my lips now and the stolen photos they've been using to promote themselves. Please be cautious of this place. If a deal/sale seems too good to be true it most likely is! I also have seen reviews and comments from different people saying they use fake products on people which I CAN NOT confirm or deny but I will say when I went there I do not recall seeing the package of filler or see them fill the syringe in front of me! Be careful!!! This is false advertising and possibly worse! UPDATE: I messaged the real doctor who did the lips and he sent me proof that he did them with location and time stamps! Both me and the real doctor have been blocked on Instagram by med physique. I really liked that the woman that did my Juvederm Ultra syringe to define my lip line was open to me wanting more of a beestung style upper lip than just an ordinary lip. She ruled bc she looked at the pics and was like yeah let's see what's up I've never done that-it turned out great and she even gave me tips on massaging it if it didn't look even right away. I absolutely am so glad she was a bad ass. The only thing that made me sort of uneasy was that their office looked a little less fancy than Westlake Derm or Viva, and not to be rude, but I didn't like having to do the quick video chat with the director, not that it was that big a deal, but it felt slightly extra? I will preface my review by saying I have been doing Botox and juvaderm injections with another spa, but my injector left so I wanted to look around. I went to Med Physique after seeing an ad for a deal on lip filler, Botox and a facial. I am kicking myself because I knew the deal was too good to be true, but this spa had a 4.5 star rating and looked nice, so I gave it a go. The special advertised a syringe of you choice of filler and 15 units of Botox. I chose Juvaderm but when I arrived at my appointment was given Kysse. I didn't fuss because I've never tried kysse and I thought I'd give it a go. I will say, I still prefer Juvaderm but it may be that my injector just didn't do as well as I'm used to. I have never been injected so quickly and it made me nervous because previously the process took longer and I could tell my injector was placing filler with intent and purpose. I left the spa with lumpy filler and spent my first two weeks massaging daily to still have a bump a month later. I'm still hoping that it will work itself out. I paid for an extra 5 units of Botox because I've always done the same 20 units and after a week my forehead and 11 lines aren't budging. After receiving Botox at Med Physique and waiting a full 2 weeks (usually it's about 5-7 days for me) for it to kick in, it became obvious that my Botox wasn't working. I'm not sure if I was injected in the wrong spot or what happened, but my forehead just looks lumpy, for lack of a better word. I read another review about a client that received Botox here and had no results, but I know people exaggerate so I booked anyway. The only reason I am not giving a one star review is because I had a wonderful mini-facial with Shelby. She was lovely, talked me through all products used and gave me some helpful tips that I've been using and seeing great results. Acquired by the very friendly and helpful new owner Tamie in May 2014, Med-Physique at 3 Graces now offers several new spa services, including Exlis, Botox, Juvederm, specialized peels, laser hair removal...as well as a variety of message styles to choose from and organic airbrush spray tanning...all in the newly remodeled spa facility. Although I loved my services provided at 3 Graces before, the space was indeed in need of a bit of a "makeover" itself. Great new facility and treatment options; however, I only visit for message or spray tans so I can't speak to quality of other services. read more

I chose the latest time available since I was driving in from Houston. I arrived, filedl out a bit of paper work and was good to go. Mara greeted me and I explained to her what I've gotten in the past at other medspas. She did a fantastic job and it was pain free. I have been going to Med Physique for nearly a year now. I moved from LA to Austin a few years back and I have to say the value and care I get is light years beyond anything I ever got in Los Angeles from licensed doctors. I don't feel like just another dollar sign with Melanie, she respectfully and empathetically addresses all of my questions, and is willing to work with me to do small changes at a time rather than injecting way too much at once. I never leave reviews but what I have experienced at this place is a little ridiculous. I've been getting Botox and xeomin for about 6 years now, never had an issue. I understand, that I'm getting older and continue to add more units each year...I got 40 units on 6/28, wasn't happy with the results, got another 40 units on 8/23 (40 units usually last me about 3/4 months)...was extremely unhappy with my results again. They touched in up on 9/8...(which melanie didn't seem happy about &was rude) It's now 10/5, have so much movement in my forehead. I wish I didn't give them a second chance. Don't waste your time or money going here. This place is not professional about all. The definition of budget beauty. They even ask for tips...never had that happen at a nice office.
