I came in for laser hair removal on my lip and chin, and I now have more hair than when I started. Because I had never shaved my face before, the shaving required for the treatments has completely altered my hair growth and left me in a worse position. A major issue is the lack of consistency. There is a constant shift in the staff performing the service. While the rotating staff obviously know they are treating my lip and chin, they have absolutely no idea whether there has been any actual improvement because no single person tracks your progress over time or knows what specific areas to focus on. When I brought up that my hair is actively worse than when I started, their only solution was to suggest I go on a maintenance plan, that is 70% off. I understand that maintenance may be needed eventually, but that should be for after a successful period of time. Pushing a maintenance plan right away when the initial treatment failed and made the problem worse feels incredibly tone-deaf. For the price and the promises made, I expected much better results and continuity of care.

They cannot perform miracles and they lie to you about how 'quick' and 'easy' they can get rid of your hair. Eight to ten treatments is not realistic. Crystal is very knowledgeable about laser hair removal. I highly recommend her services, especially if you have olive skin tone. Her laser shoots out a burst of cool air right before the laser hits your skin. I have done 6 full body treatments and my arms, back, and paper lip are pretty much clear of hair. My legs, bikini, and under arms need more treatments. Not all the hair on your body is the same and your hormone levels can ffect your hair growth. She will definitely be my laser girl for life!

Laser hair removal OF COURSE is awesome. Electrolysis has been around forever and is quite a tedious task that requires a bit of obsessive compulsion and patience. It's great for more precise and permanent hair removal in the brow area (where lasers are not precise enough for such a small area). It's also great for hair that isn't as responsive to laser treatments - light-colored and fine hair (white, grey, red, or blonde). I found one and only one open booking at Milk + Honey nail salon today near home. They do soakless pedicures, which I'm not a big fan of. At the end of the day, I am most concerned with the final outcome not the journey to the end result. Although there is something to be said for soaking your feet in warm water. Milk + Honey uses warm wet towels to clean your feet. I got the standard pedicure. I'm going to Las Vegas tomorrow for a conference. I will be wearing sandals mostly. So, it is super important to have my feet looking nice. Milk + Honey are sustainability conscious. I was served chamomile tea with a cup that had these captions, " Certified Compostable " and "NO TREE" " No trees were harmed in the making of this cup." in addition, they had water bottle refillable station...first time I have seen this in a nail salon. Love this! Srija did a nice job on my feet. She was gentle in handling my feet and super precise in cutting my cuticles. I was also given 4 choices of lotions for my feet - Energize (my choice), Rosemary, Calm and Unscented. She ended with a foot massage which put me in and out of sleep. This is also a med spa.
