The Supraformers are definitely a way to amp up this already challenging and humbling workout, while adding an air of fun to the 25 minute body blast. Danielle greeted us at the door with smiles and a friendly demeanor. As a trainer myself, it was comforting to be welcomed with such open arms. Her kindness was greatly appreciated. Mikael explained the machine to everyone in the class before we got started and made sure to give extra attention to the first time Lagree clients in the room. He was able to direct the class, manage the Supraformer and give helpful queues throughout the routine. He is obviously very knowledgeable about the workout and comfortable leading a class of clients at various fitness levels. I highly recommend him! The Supraformer provides a kickass whole body workout and in such an efficient period of time. Anyone can do a workout in 25 minutes and with their format, you will start to feel the burn within minutes of the first exercise. After using the megaformer at several great studios, the Supraformer takes it to a whole new, challenging level. I took my first class at Lagree Fitness with Dominique yesterday and it was amazing. Even if it is your first time on these machines, Dominique does an awesome job walking each individual through the exercises. The studio is easily accessible off the main street. It was a little confusing on my first visit to walk through the front door and see all the machines, but then check in with reception in a separate room in the back. However it allows passerbys to see how amazing the workout is and gives customers privacy and security to use the studio's amenities. I highly recommend the Lagree Fitness Studios! read more

I worked out with a group of friends, and I was like" are everyone's legs shaking as much as mine are?" but I couldn't even look, because I was so focused on what I was doing - Only 25 minutes, for a full body workout. It's an intense work-out, but you can do it! And can modify if you have any neck or joint issues, like I do with my neck! If you want maximum benefit with the minimum amount of time, this is the workout for you! The studio is pretty sweet as well- Do yourself a favor, and check this out! read more

I've been a Megaformer devotee for a few years. It's been one of the few exercises where I can really feel and see the results, especially in my core. With the incline and tilt, it definitely takes this to the next level in half the time. I've taken Samantha, Dominique, Luke and another instructor. Each has their own style and focus. Samantha will just rip you to shreds with her full-body workout. Dominique's core and playlist are on point. If you're a runner, Luke focuses a lot on legs since he's a big marathon and triathlete. You've been warned. This studio is definitely worth the drive from my Santa Monica home even though I already have quite a few Megaformer studios in my hood. The incline makes the wheelbarrow significantly more challenging. For any Lagree junkie, it's important to keep challenging yourself, right? read more

My coworkers and I took a team building class here today and it was AWESOME! When my supervisor originally informed us that we would be taking the class I was a little apprehensive due to the fact I injured my hand the other day. ..And I didn't wanna be the loner sitting on the bench watching everyone else have fun. When I told Sebastian about my injury he was extremely kind and accommodating. I could do just about everything in the class with some slight modifications! We did the 25 minute workout and it was INTENSE yet completely attainable. I definitely want to go back on my own time once I am fully healed! This was a great team building activity for us and fun was had by all! Definitely recommend! read more

Took my first class with Sarah Horng and it was awesome! Sarah was so attentive and energetic, and I was pretty nervous before starting but she quickly calmed my nerves by explaining exactly what to expect and showing me how the supraformer tilts and inclines. Needless to say, it was an intense workout but totally doable, especially since it's only 25 minutes. And knowing it was 25 minutes definitely made me push myself since I knew the burn and shakes would be over soon! I've taken a good number of megaformer classes and I think that was essential before taking this class. Also, they sell THE cutest sticky socks! They're sparkly and adorable and I've never seen them sold elsewhere. Picked up a pair before my first class and they're now my fave pair of sticky socks I own :) Overall, it was very challenging and efficient. I can't say enough great things about Lagree. If you are looking for low impact high intensity workout look no further! I am recovering from a knee injury and was looking to a low impact class. I signed up for my first class and loved it! I have now been going for 3 months and I can honestly say that I will be a life long customer. The classes are 25 min but you work every single muscle group. I have not found an instructor that I do not love. They are all very welcoming and pay close attention to your form, some are more difficult that others but all great. If you are a beginner to the mega former, take a beginners class before jumping into the Supra. The Supra class has quick transitions. If you are looking for a great new workout get some grip socks and sign up for your first class! read more

Lagree is such a fun and challenging workout. I would highly recommended it to anyone who wants the strengthening and toning of Pilates, but with a fun twist, in a shorter amount of time. I love the 25 minutes classes at their West Hollywood location. I would never dream of getting such a good workout in that short of time but I am sore for DAYS afterwards. The Megaformer machine allows you to do slow controlled movements and work multiple muscle groups at once, whereas a traditional reformer focuses on one muscle group at a time. I'd recommend taking an intro class or getting down the basics of Pilates before jumping into these classes, because at times they move pretty quickly and it could be hard to digest everything if it's a brand new concept to you. I just wish they had more locations in LA! read more

Class Pass Review: I am new to living in West Hollywood and was excited to try Lagree Fitness Studio after a few friends recommended it. Let me just say, "what a killer workout!". Even though the class is 30 minutes, don't be fooled you will hit every body part, I was very sore the next day. The instructor, Dominique, was very motivating, she had positive energy and gave good adjustments to the class. Something instructors at other Lagree certified studios do which I don't like is just call out pose after pose without any corrections when people don't have correct form - but Dominique made sure to help me and others as needed. Her music was also on point which kept the class fun. One thing unique to Lagree is the Supraformer machine itself, which inclines and moves side to side during the workout for an added challenge. At one point in the class we were doing lunges and Dominique put the incline up what felt like to the ceiling! By the end of the workout I was dripping sweat and felt great. I'll definitely be going to Lagree again, and take Dominique's class again. The studio itself is brand new, nice bathroom for changing and space is very clean. The only weird thing is the front desk is in the back in a separate room, so for 1st timers like me make sure you go back there to sign in. read more

Lauren Barnette is a genius. This Lagree cutie is so well rounded. She is compassionate, encouraging and knowledgeable about all things fitness. And, she LOVES Lagree! She is really great about thoroughly explaining, demonstrating and correcting my form. I can't deny, Lagree 25 is beyond challenging, but Lauren has an energy that mentally and physically pushes you to your absolute max. And, her fun witted comments make the class a blast. I totally have a Lagree crush on LB! I'm in the gym 4-6 days a week weight training and never thought a Pilates plus class would make me this sore. I guess I've been missing a lot of key muscles using the weights. The inclines and tilts are insane. The Supraformer blew my mind with its intensity and futuristic form. The facility itself is clean, modern and an ideal location in West Hollywood. Vicki, the girl at the back desk, was sweet, friendly and answered all my questions with ease. Which is a breathe of fresh air at 6.30a. I love everything about Lagree and highly recommend it to anyone. Even if you're a beginner, there's a 101 class to get you started. I love this studio and not because its an easy workout but because of one of the instructors. Her name is Lauren and she is so encouraging. After the first time I did this workout I knew I wasn't coming back but ended up buying the 20 class pack and going once a week. This is one of the hardest workouts that I have ever done despite the fact that its only 25 min. You will work harder than any other class. I am seeing results in my strength and endurance after a few months and will continue to go regularly. read more

I love the Lagree Supra classes! As a new mom, I need a quick workout that delivers results. The quickest workout that I found was for 45 mins. I need a workout for less amount of time. As I was driving by La Cienega, I saw the answer - Lagree Fitness Studio. It promises the most efficient workout in 25 mins - and wow, it is so on point!!! You get the most efficient workout with the least amount of time. I've been doing the workout for almost a month now, and I can definitely see positive changes in my body. Writing this because I've been a fan of this spot since it's inception and am seeing some pretty irrational reviews here. Danielle, the owner's wife, is just the sweetest. Honestly, if she was anything less than polite, it's probably because you were rude/insulting to her. This workout is 25 minutes--which means you must arrive on time, and when class begins, the instructors don't have time to chit-chat or coddle you. Think of it as tough love. They really encourage you to make the most of those 25 mins. And if you do, the workout is KILLER. My favorites are Brian, Ty, and of course Sebastian, the owner. (I've heard great things about Samantha, but have never taken her class.) Stop being so sensitive, people. This is a great spot. This machine will transform your body! read more

As a former dancer, I always swore by pilates and barre. But, this is as good as it gets. I started taking classes after a long break from working out due to an extremely demanding work schedule. The 25 minute classes allowed me to find time to take care of myself again. My body has changed shape and my back pain is gone. Although I was always lean and fit, I was never very strong. I love the fact that they are willing to change your class on the same day as long as it's the same instructor. I've brought many friends and they all love it. Well, the workout may be great, but I would not know. I signed up for a beginner's class on a Wednesday morning for the 5:30 pm class. By Wednesday afternoon, I was feeling exhausted (no need to go into the reason why... too boring) I called the studio explaining my situation and wanted to book another class instead. Considering how challenging this class is supposed to be, I wanted to be in tip top shape. The person who answered the phone said that this was against the studio's "policy", either show up or lose the money. I showed up. When I got there, there were hardly any students for the class. I was about to sign in without comment, but then I was told that I needed to have socks. With 85 degree weather, you can bet that I did not have any socks. I was told that I could purchase socks, for, are your ready, for $15.00? Same price as the beginner's class. I refused. I asked for a credit for the class or my money back. I got neither nor was there a manager to talk to . This had become frustrating, a waste of time, and felt like highway robbery. A simple "yes" would have sufficed especially since I am a newcomer. So they stuck to their policy, lost a customer for $15.00. I am not sure I could trust a studio that shows so little wisdom in dealing with their customers. I hope they showed more wisdom in designing their workouts, and really thought of their customers then, not as money making machines, but as human beings. read more

HOLY SH*T! a 25 minute workout that kicks your @$$ & sculpts your body? Sign me up! The reformers MOVE! So that makes this workout not only unique but incredibly challenging. I was fortunate enough to sign up for a class where it was just me and Luke, and.. well, this private was well worth the pain. Luke was delightful. His class was VERY challenging, but not impossible. He was very encouraging especially when I wanted to just take an extra long water break or give up. And the fact that he was very hands on about making sure that my form was right the whole time is AWESOME and very much appreciated. After I left, my legs were still shaking, and I felt as though I could already see a change in my physique. I highly recommend this place for those who want to be further challenged and can LISTEN because it is very fast-paced. Definitely try it. They have their own parking garage which is crazy convenient especially in WeHo. read more

I have done quite a bit of Pilates but this was the first place I ever tried the Supraformer machines and WOW they are something else- so fun, yet challenging, and feels like you're working out on a Transformer. You will be drenched in sweat just after 25 minutes which is a great thing in my book. Just went to my very first class yesterday and didn't know what to expect. The machine that you exercise on is pretty easy to manage. I took the intro class and the instructor was very good at showing everyone how to work it, what position you needed to be in, how to do the various workouts correctly. The gym is also super clean and easy garage parking. I will be definitely be back. read more

Disliked. Strong dislike. Started off by going into the class thinking that I would get the first time special of $15. She made me pay $26. $26 for a 25min class that makes no sense. The workout was too quick and not my style of a good workout. Every exercise seemed rushed and not focused on a specific muscle group. Disliked the music and energy of class. Some of the moves were so difficult that you couldn't even do it so it's a waste of being there.. Instructor wasn't personal or helpful. When it comes to a class like this you could easily hurt yourself or pull something and the instructor didn't seem to give anyone corrections or tips. Waste of money seems like a scam. If you want a great efficient Pilates class try out Natural Pilates. read more

It was a fantastic workout- If you are beginner, it may not be fun but it will be a great reality check! Dominique was my instructor and she is a kick-ass instructor, I have taken other classes instructed by her and she makes sure all your muscles get the "treatment", if you cry, they will provide a towel. I love it, I can't wait to get back :-) I call it the transformer- the machine is joystick operated and, yes, she controls it. This workout reminds me of my forgotten muscles! it sure is a painful workout, but totally worth it! I love being sore, and I am usually sore for two days! I am glad it is only 25 minutes! Thanks Dom! I can not stress the importance of a good and encouraging instructor, esp if you are new to the class. I have been to classes with terrible instructors, even though I liked the class routine, I stopped going to their classes. Dominique will push you to the limits, only to get the best of you. Sitting here and MY ASS is STILL ON FIRE.. I attended Sarah's Tuesday evening booty burn. Ty and Sarah are my two favorite instructors. I usually just go to Ty's classes; he's always watching out for form, trying new workouts, and is intense--the best. Sarah is the same! Lagree is a good workout no matter how in space you are. I usually double up with a regular Supra full body and a focus class (abs or booty burn).. but 25 mins of one class is already so intense.. I am always struggling but I like the EXTRA challenge. One 25 min class is already challenging though. read more

I have been doing the mega former for a couple of months and boy did the Supra kick my butt!! Took Brian's Arms and Ass class - sore for 4 days!!! Loved the class!! Sam's Booty Burn class was great as well! She has the best motivation and corrects your form while challenging you to be the best you! So far I am very happy with this studio and will be coming back.- going to look at packages! read more

The machine itself is unique and it is a good workout. However the guidance is bad, not all trainers are attentive enough and there aren't different levels to how difficult your machine is set other than the springs and sometimes that isn't enough. What turns me off the most is how rude the trainers, especially the owner herself can be. I was in class once when a worker cleaning the street outside spilled a bit of water into the studio because the doors aren't properly sealed and she went off on him in a manner that is simply nasty. After seeing that I never returned to classes again as I already felt uncomfortable at the studio. read more

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! Their policies are extremely strict and the ownership (Danielle) is extremely rude and does not believe in providing a good customer experience. You can tell her employees are scared of her and don't believe in the company's values. To not work with clients who accidentally book wrong locations (through their partnership with ClassPass) and try to run with their money providing ZERO flexibility when they own all their locations shows that they do not know how to get things done or know the true value of customer service. Note they also "require grip socks" aka just another way to take as much money from their customers as possible selling their $18 slip socks... I've visited over 20 Lagree classes across the country and this is the very first one I've heard of "requiring" grip socks.. they just want as much money as possible for their short, ineffective 25 min classes. read more

The studio Sebastien and Danielle have created is top notch. The supra machines are state of the art and provide an experience that can't be found anywhere else. And for a true full body workout you need to take Ky Evans class. He's not a trainer, he's a scientist! He doesn't train people, he creates athletes! Think of Lagree like Barre, but you're doing the moves on a little carnival ride. So every time you do the resistance, the Lagree machine moves and resists you to further work your small muscle fibers. It's a short workout (30 minutes I think), but it will kick your butt. I use my classplass and go a couple of times a month. Really, really hard at first though. Wish the music wasn't so loud - really need to hear the instructor for this. oh yeah, there's parking in the garage underneath! read more
