This is hot, new business! Do not look for a appetizer in…read morehere! In BOSTON GRILL they don't offer any. Why? Because they are confident in the size of their main course! And I tell you the size of main courses are big enough and if you are really hungry, there is a desert menu. They have really great meat. Why? Because the meat is hung in the fridge for one month, so when you grill it, it's perfectly tender and juicy! What a difference it makes. I usually don't comment about the interior so much, but now I have to! The interior is very modern, has a USA signature but with a CPH influence, fresh, trendy, nice layout with private sections, dominant materials are wood and red leather .... Really nice. What makes this place REALLY special in the fact that this place is run by O'LEARYS, which demonstrates a true feeling of teamwork. Cesar, a Spanish manager keeps workers happy and they take care of the business. I talked to most of the workers on their shift and everyone said, they are happy and that they feel lucky to be working there. I have much much more to add, but this review would be too long. Cesar invented cocktail 'passion fruit mule'! Definitely a Cocktail to go there for!!!!

As it turned out there weren't many for this location as they had just recently opened. Their 'sister' restaurants in Sweden, though, had quiet a few reviews, most all stellar. Though it was a bit pricey, I was craving a good rib-eyes, so we cleaned up a bit and off we went. Though there is a formal street side entrance for the Boston Grill Mayfair, it is actually the restaurant for the Hotel Mayfair and shares a common patio with the hotel. If you enter from the street, they greet you at the entrance and escort you back past the bar to their main dinning area. It was still a bit early by European standards, so the dinning areas were sparse with customers. OK by us though as the service was prompt and attentive. As planned, I ordered the rib-eye, but not as planned, they offered a larger cut which was 'suitable for sharing' which is exactly what we did. They split the sides in the kitchen on two separate plates and let us carve out our own portions of the main course. It was cooked just to our order, tender and juicy. One of the best rib-eye's I've had in awhile. I would definitely recommend it!

Part of the appeal of the cafe is the overall atmosphere. The cafe in a few steps down from the street in a cozy space. Benches with throw pillows line the walls with art and plants that brighten the space. There are a few two chair tables that line the street as well. The owner is a lovely, friendly women from San Fransisco. She makes the cheesecake from scratch. She and her partner were both there during my visit and checked in to make sure all of the customers were enjoying what they ordered. I appreciated the interaction and that they cared whether I liked the cake. The cheesecake is served plain with a side of your choice of fruit sauce. I had the cherry cinnamon and it was incredible. I liked that the sauce was served on the side as it allowed you to choose the amount (though it's so good you will finish it one way or another. Apparently some people have been observed drinking what is left). The rest of the menu is fairly basic: salads, sandwiches and burritos. Considering the prices in Copenhagen, theirs were reasonable for a full sized meal (based on the other reviewer's photos). I only stopped for dessert, based on how good the cheesecake was, I would have liked to try one of the other items. High recommendation!

Not much of a difference since CPH is freezing these days but the cake may be a bit mushed depending on your commute since the plastic box isn't a snug fit. **Tip: there is a credit card fee. Cheesecake quality: at 50kr, it's definitely steep for the smaller size. But the cheesecake still tasted divine even after the 30min commute home. It comes with several sauce options, though the owner recommended the raspberry. The cheesecake was packed full of taste without it though, so not a worry! My favorite part is the bottom crumb base. Most cheesecakes are bland or too hard for the fork to get through, but this was soft enough and flavorful that I had every last crumb. The cheesecake itself had a mouthwatering texture that melted in my mouth. TLDR: Pricey but I'd do it again.

Arcade game to flex those gaming muscles as you wait for your order. Comic covered wallpaper and a hip decor. A hidden gem on it's way to put it's mark on Copenhagen's culinary scene. How I got here: It was the day of city marathon and the usual way that I took to city was blocked. Google asked me to go via an alternate route. As I was walking to the bus stop, lo and behold! I come across sign for Yolkie. A picture of their signature egg sandwich with bacon! This place reminded me a lot of Egg Slut in LA so I bookmarked it and decided to go there the next day. The next day sure enough, I was there at 9am and guess what I got their happy hour offer (9am to 11am) free OJ/ coffee with sandwich! This day was turning out to be better than I expected. Ambience: This place gives off a very hip vibe. As you enter, you're greeted by an arcade machine. This thing works, has tons of game and is a cool way to pass time as you wait for your order. Lot's of plants and green adorn the wall and also the restroom area. The backside of the restaurant has a wall with a perfectly done sunny side up egg mural on the wall! Instagram alert! Back walls are covered with Marvel (& DC??) comics pages as wall paper. I absolutely loved the decor and couldn't wait to get on with my order. Food: Over the 3 times that I've been there I've tried the Bacon, Egg and Cheese, Scramble & Crispy Chicken. Scramble: The scramble came with creamy scrambled egg, beautifully caramelized onions, sriracha mayo on a warmed up Brioche bun! (Why don't other places warm their bun?? It's a tiny thing but makes a big difference) The ingredients come together to make a very delicious and soul-filling burger. Even thinking about me is make my mouth water like Pavlov's dog! If you want to kick things up a notch, you can add bacon to it like I did (10/10 would recommend) Crispy chicken burger: The pieces of crispy chicken were huge. Crispy brown on the outside and tender on the inside. This made for a heavy breakfast (like the kings they say!) If you get in between 9-11am you get coffee or OJ free with your sandwich. OJ was nice and tangy. Great way to kick start the day. I spoke to one of the guys behind the counter and as we were the only ones there we had a played a game of street fighter. Close match but he whooped my a$$ in the end! lol The are near the restroom has plants and pop culture memorabilia. Star Wars poster and the whole 9 yard. This place is on my list of must check out places in Copenhagen and I'd definitely visit whenever I'm back.

My only comment is that I would have liked the burger to have been cooked at medium rare. The fried are thinly cut and surprisingly the highlight of my meal! Service wasn't the best at this location but it was fine, not a serious complaint. As with most Hard Rock's the food was pretty much the same as you would find at other locations. I did like that this seems to be one of the last locations (that I've noticed) with the city written on at least some of the beer glasses which is nice and something I miss from others around the world.

I had tried to stop by for dinner in other places but everything was pretty full (even on a weeknight), so the relative emptiness of this place was what I was looking for...plus I've had good luck in the past with burgers from the various Hard Rocks visited. I got seated right away towards the back. There are a few rock'n'roll memorabilia but nothing to make you want to look too hard. My waiter came soon after. The menu is smaller, with the only thing on it that seemed customized was the 'The Little Mermaid Burger' (213 DKK), described as braised red cabbage, beetroot chips, orange segments, blue cheese, shoestring onions and brown sauce. It came with thick fries. Not much selection on tap, so got the 2nd most popular Danish beer (Turborg Classic for 79 DKK). Learned that I don't like cabbage or beets on my burger. The meat was good and the fries were excellent. It did fill me up which was the point. They do ask for tip on the payment, but the service wasn't good enough to justify the additional charge...total ended up being $45.64 for burger, fries, and a beer...yeah, it's expensive to dine out in Copenhagen. Before leaving, bought a women's classic t-shirt for my wife for $39.85. I did notice that they identify themselves to credit card companies as 'retail' instead of as a restaurant, even for the food portion of my stay.
