I genuinely don't understand what the other reviews are about, or maybe it was just a really REALLY bad day. I got the Mighty Greek Gyro, and it was honestly one of the worst I've ever had. The meat was absolutely dry and tasteless, not at all seasoned, and the onions smelled and tasted like they had gone bad, a strong sulfurous smell and metallic twang to them. The pita itself was very doughy and had a weird mushy texture, like it had been frozen and thawed and then heated. I don't know if things were this bad because it was the day after Christmas, but it definitely ruined our lunch after a long hike. For those prices, I expected it to be exceptional, not inedible. I can't get enough of this place. I get the Mighty ever time. I have meant to take a pic but eat it before I can. All the veggies are fresh. The meat is fantastic. The sauce is thicker than I'm used to but I prefer it now. Best gyro around can't wait for my next stop there. My wife and I each had a gyro. They were very well done. The pita was so soft and warm. Ours had tomato, onion, feta and tzatziki with excellent flavored beef & lamb gyro meat. My wife doesn't eat beef or lamb but she loved The Mighty Greek's gyro meat. In addition to the food being so good, the owner is a delightful lady with a ton of personality. We are so happy to have The Might Greek so close to home. We will be visiting often! read more

My son introduced me to this wonderful food cart while I was visiting and the mighty greek I had was so so good. just the right combo of meat, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, Kalamata olives and tzatziki sauce! I've had a lot of gyros and often am disappointed with too much of one ingredient but this was just so divinely proportioned and generously sized too. I can't wait to try all the other dishes this cart offers whenever I visit. I had known the assistant to the regional manager from a summer program in San Francisco. He is an experienced worker who knows what he's doing, as do the rest of the staff. I tried the basic gyro and some of the (piping hot I might add) loukoumades. If you live in Portland and can't make it all the way to Redmond, the truck usually travels up to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Portland every October. more than great. just ate lunch here. we've been waiting for a really good gyro to come to Central Oregon and here it is! I'm just happy they're in Redmond so I don't have to drive to bend for just a decent one. the pita was warm, lots of gyro meat, very fresh tasting. absolutely delicious! we met the owner and she's bubbly, happy and was happy to sit and chat with us. This is what I was looking for when I want real Greek food. we also had their dessert , loukoumades, which was also wonderful and tasty and light, but not too sweet. We're coming back every time I need a gyro fix. I'm only mad at myself for not going there until now.
