Returned to my happy place and, once again, it did not disappoint. Today, I ordered an Iced Cafe Mocha and it was AMAZING. It's the only instance when I take my sweet time consuming my coffee. For my meal, I ordered the Burrito Bowl (organic black beans, brown rice, cheese, onion, red & yellow peppers, lettuce, tomato). The bowl was filling, every ingredient was fresh, and at the perfect temperature. Before leaving, I had to order the remaining six, gluten free, chocolate truffles. These truffles are incredible and highly recommended. Enjoy your visit to Mindful Cafe and the blissful surroundings.

Burrito bowl except we ordered the actual burrito :/

A cute organic and healthy spot with drinks, breakfast, sandwiches, salads, bowls and baked goods I applaud the mission of this spot to offer "clean" foods and drinks, that's refreshing! Lots of interesting things on the menu, from the usual suspects like avocado toast to warm bowls and sandwiches. There are some vegan items but they also serve things like chicken and eggs. I enjoyed the tempeh "BLT" except the bread was a little burned and we ordered the black bean burrito and got the bowl instead (didn't want to complain as they were busy and self admittedly short staffed). You order at the counter and then get a number to bring to your table; you can also order with your phone using their qr code. The tables in the first room are more conducive to eating and the second room is more to hang out, study, chat. Today was not super busy but I could see it getting crowded as it's not that big in there. They also sell some other things like lotions, candles, noodles, jewelry. They serve things in recyclable plates and reusable utensils. Bathrooms also have super soft toilet paper and good ingredient soap and lotions (nice touch!) Hope this spot stays in business! Street parking only.

Just discovered this place for breakfast and will definitely be back for lunch! Delicious, fresh food, great atmosphere and staff. The desserts and pastries are next to try

Super cute place!!! Looked on yelp for a good coffee spot while driving on the main road and found The Mindful Cafe on Yelp. Great service, amazing seating both inside and out! Great space and although ai didn't try the food/sweets, they had a nice variety. Can't wait to return with a laptop and hang in their back room.

What a cute little cafe! We wanted to grab some breakfast in the area after our son's basketball game. I love the furniture and decor inside. There is a small seating area by the main counter, but hidden in the back was another section that felt cozy as if you were in someone's living room. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was also clean, healthy, and delicious. We tried their bowls which we recommend: Harvest Bowl, Breakfast Bowl, and the Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl. The price was reasonable, too. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Wanted to update my review now that I've had a chance to eat inside. the inside is really nice and surprisingly large in the back. The food is really good and would be five stars if each item had one more additional piece. For example if the chicken teriyaki bowl had shredded carrots to add another piece of texture to go along with just the chicken, rice, and scallion. And the buffalo chicken Panini could use a blue cheese aïoli or something like that to cut the heat and give it a little more depth. The side salads could also use an additional ingredient because right now they are just spring mix lettuce and dressing. Once again maybe carrot or cucumber.

I would maybe come back for the drinks. Customer service is nice though and they have a good amount of seating such as bar with a view of Main Street and tables down and up the step. The food was okay yet pricey. I did like the foamy hot chocolate though. And make sure you get the card rewards where ymthe card gets hole punched for every drink your order.

Everything on the menu is vegan, but my family truly could not taste any difference when we visited. We ordered the Oreo protein pancakes, blueberry pancakes, penne with vodka sauce, and a breakfast burrito. Since I turned vegan, I've been craving pancakes so the food really hit the spot. The pancakes were so fluffy and tasted incredible. The penne was also so flavorful and was maybe our favorite dish. The breakfast burrito was also filling and tasted great. Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality of food and would come here regularly if I lived in the area. Additionally, the prices were super reasonable and are definitely more affordable than the average restaurant in the area. Chelsea was our waitress and I want to give her a special shoutout because she was particularly helpful and friendly to us. She did an excellent job answering our questions and even was willing to share general tips on vegan cooking. She really went out of her way to help me out after I mentioned that I recently turned vegan.

I ordered 2 wellness shots and my husband a latte. He was surprised at the cost of his latte in comparison to the big chain coffee places and their current pricing. Squeeze the day!…read more Beets Juice Bar is a small local business with 3 locations in NJ: Park Ridge, Allendale, and Montvale. I was in the Montvale area and decided to stop in because ya girl was PARCHED and in need of a refreshing pick-me-up. The store is located inside The Shoppes at DePiero Farm, so there's plenty of parking available. The interior is bright, modern, and decorated with lush plants that create a relaxing atmosphere. There's five tables, along with counter seating where you can watch the kitchen in action as they prep and blend each drink fresh to order. The menu is packed with options--it almost feels a little overwhelming! They've got everything from fresh juices and smoothies to protein shakes, wellness shots, and coffee, all made with a solid variety of fruits, vegetables, and superfoods. Looking for something more filling? There are acai bowls you can fully customize with different bases and toppings. There's also grab-and-go items like overnight oats, wraps, protein bites, and veggies with hummus. Most of the menu is organic, gluten free, and vegan. It's technically healthy and an easy way to get in some extra antioxidants and nutrients. But it's also worth keeping in mind that some of the drinks and bowls can sneak up on you with high sugar levels and calories. After going back and forth between a few options, I decided to order the Inflammation Fix Juice [~$10], made with cucumber, kale, apple, lemon, turmeric, and ginger. There's a 2.6% discount for cash payments. Service was quick, and my drink was prepared within a few minutes. Was it worth the $10? No. It wasn't like any juice bar drink I've had before...not in the good way. It came out almost lukewarm instead of cold. The texture was a bit frothy. It tasted a little too sweet. The apple and cucumber really took over the flavor profile and masked the rest of the ingredients. I could barely taste the ginger and turmeric, which was a disappointment because I LOVE that strong, spicy kick they give. I'm giving it 3 stars because it wouldn't be fair to write them off after trying just one drink. If I'm in the area again, I'd probably give them another try and maybe get a smoothie instead. And honestly, I'm not a big fan of spending money on juices and smoothies since I prefer eating fruits and veggies whole. But every now and then, it's just easier to pay for the convenience lol.
