I came here for lunch because I heard it was supposed to be all organic and healthy foods. There is indoor and outdoor seating available but I decided to stay indoor to eat. At the register, it was a little confusing as there was no line that had formed. There were people standing in front of the register and the young employee would just shout "next customer" and someone would decide to go next. In my opinion, I think the back room should have a door or curtain just for the employees privacy. I would not want customers seeing me eating or on my phone while I'm on a break. I'm sure most people know it's a break room, but for those who don't would be wondering why there are people sitting when the front of the store has customers waiting for their order to be taken. Back to the food... I got a panini with mozzarella, tomato, basil and chicken (additional $4.50). And I also go the Clean Green smoothie. They gave me a numbered placard so that someone could deliver my food to my table. The panini was good, but unfortunately the chicken was very dry and the ends of the bread was soggy. For something that was just made, the bread should not be soggy like it had been sitting in a liquid for a while. The smoothie was ok. I think they put too much vanilla extract in it because that was the only thing I could really taste. I think the banana needed to ripen for another day. Also, there was a grainy texture and I can't figure out why as there was no powder added to it. According to the menu, the ingredients are coconut water, banana, cucumber, spinach, dates, and vanilla extract. The total for my sandwich and drink was $31. This is an ok but overpriced lunch. I might come back to try something else in the future. read more

Returned to my happy place and, once again, it did not disappoint. Today, I ordered an Iced Cafe Mocha and it was AMAZING. It's the only instance when I take my sweet time consuming my coffee. For my meal, I ordered the Burrito Bowl (organic black beans, brown rice, cheese, onion, red & yellow peppers, lettuce, tomato). The bowl was filling, every ingredient was fresh, and at the perfect temperature. Before leaving, I had to order the remaining six, gluten free, chocolate truffles. A cute organic and healthy spot with drinks, breakfast, sandwiches, salads, bowls and baked goods I applaud the mission of this spot to offer "clean" foods and drinks, that's refreshing! Lots of interesting things on the menu, from the usual suspects like avocado toast to warm bowls and sandwiches. There are some vegan items but they also serve things like chicken and eggs. I enjoyed the tempeh "BLT" except the bread was a little burned and we ordered the black bean burrito and got the bowl instead (didn't want to complain as they were busy and self admittedly short staffed). You order at the counter and then get a number to bring to your table; you can also order with your phone using their qr code. The tables in the first room are more conducive to eating and the second room is more to hang out, study, chat. Today was not super busy but I could see it getting crowded as it's not that big in there. They also sell some other things like lotions, candles, noodles, jewelry. They serve things in recyclable plates and reusable utensils. Bathrooms also have super soft toilet paper and good ingredient soap and lotions (nice touch!) Hope this spot stays in business! They're a bit pricey but not a personal ding to them, almost all businesses on Main Street in Ramsey are pricey. I think they need to explain their vegetarian options a bit more, I'm not vegetarian but who I was with is vegetarian and she had to take out most of the filling of the taco. Granted she had other options I think the way it was explained was why she kept with it. Oh well though, I think the portions are decent and not overwhelming but again price wise I would have wanted more. I like the space and the staff is super friendly. read more

What a cute little cafe! We wanted to grab some breakfast in the area after our son's basketball game. I love the furniture and decor inside. There is a small seating area by the main counter, but hidden in the back was another section that felt cozy as if you were in someone's living room. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was also clean, healthy, and delicious. We tried their bowls which we recommend: Harvest Bowl, Breakfast Bowl, and the Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl. The price was reasonable, too. I came in after the farmers market to get their blue moon matcha, but what a disappointment. First, I'm pissed off they charged $1 for iced matcha on top of $0.60 for almond milk. I cannot taste any of the matcha because it was watered down by extreme amounts of sweetened almond milk. Not to mention it wasn't enough matcha or spirulina in it. To charge $17 in change is a rip off. I can get two of the same type of matcha lattes in NYC and it doesn't cost me that price. read more

I really wanted to like it! As soon as I went in, the staff was less than welcoming. I felt as if I was interrupting them and intruding on their space. I asked for extra milk and I was literally given 2 tablespoons. When I asked her to dump some of my coffee to make room she seemed annoyed. I asked for a little more milk and she turned away, never stopping to talk to her coworker. I want to believe she didn't hear me. Wanted to update my review now that I've had a chance to eat inside. the inside is really nice and surprisingly large in the back. The food is really good and would be five stars if each item had one more additional piece. For example if the chicken teriyaki bowl had shredded carrots to add another piece of texture to go along with just the chicken, rice, and scallion. And the buffalo chicken Panini could use a blue cheese aïoli or something like that to cut the heat and give it a little more depth. The side salads could also use an additional ingredient because right now they are just spring mix lettuce and dressing. Once again maybe carrot or cucumber. read more

I would maybe come back for the drinks. Customer service is nice though and they have a good amount of seating such as bar with a view of Main Street and tables down and up the step. The food was fine... My latte was mediocre, I could tell it's not quality espresso. The biggest issue was the staff. They are super loud, socializing and laughing while the cafe is filled with silent patrons trying to read, do work, etc. On top of this, they have music BLASTING like this is a club. I was on a phone call for work and my coworker thought I was at a busy cafeteria. To top it all off, I witnessed the staff laughing at and making fun of a DoorDash driver that only spoke Spanish. read more

Chicken. Salad. Sandwich. All day every day - it's one of the best all around sandwiches I've ever had as crazy as that sounds. It's got cranbaisins and I think vegan mayo which I wouldn't typically ask for but am very appreciative of regardless. They also make an immunity tea that I love (even though my wife and I both can't believe they won't call it Immuni-tea). My only gripe is that the store itself has an unusual smell (I assume from the candles and stuff they sell) that kind of ruins the dining experience for me so we typically eat outside or order to go. The staff here is always wonderful, they're so attentive and friendly. The Mindful Cafe offers delicious, organic and clean food, which is not easy to come by. We enjoy many of their options, but our favorites are the egg and cheese on croissant, Buffalo chicken panini and açaí bowl. You also cannot miss their bakery items like the banana bread, as they are absolutely delicious. Their coffee and lattes are the real stand out for us since each cup is brewed to order. Feels like this place is confused between being a coffee shop or a brunch place. All orders are taken from the register and food served on a paper plate (thicker plate). Ordered the avocado toast and the mushroom panini. The taste and flavor of the avacado toast was good however, considering the price, i expected either a very large toast or 2 toasts but only came with a small side salad and 1 toast. The mushroom panini, some mushrooms were very hard to chews and the sandwich was just okay. If you're expecting a willow and whisk, it's the complete mellow version with confusion. The QR code menu allows you to get settled and browse at your leisure without the pressure of standing and staring at a menu. Our food and drinks were brought to our table and were exactly what we were craving. I got the Caesar salad and my gf got the waffles topped with hazelnut spread, fruit and flax. I'm not big on waffles but holy $h*+ they were AMAZING. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the music great, ambience on point and the place was immaculate. The bathroom alone is worth the trip! Pro tip: set aside extra time to smell all of the products they have and, if the mood strikes, use the testers of scents you like. I have a problem getting past the TLTs (tempeh bacon , lettuce, tomato and lemon aioli). They are addictive. But also the salads are really fresh. When I ordered a panini it was on Balthazar bread so that just made it all the better. I am also in love with the desserts because they are made there and 90% are gluten free! YES! So I can still have a full lunch and a sweet and not feel like I have to sleep it off! There is also a HUGE out door space with wifi so sometimes I will go there and grab coffee and do my work on the patio. I could go on about the menu but there is no need.
