I was very impressed. Good Smoothies and you can't beat the prices. It's like half the price of the other smoothie shop in town

There's plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal or drink. I also love supporting women-owned businesses, and it's clear that the owners put a lot of care and attention into every detail. I had an issue with one of my drinks, but the owner addressed it immediately and made it right without hesitation. That level of customer service really stood out and turned a good experience into a great one. Delicious offerings, a charming atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality

I spoke with the lovely woman at the front desk, who also happened to be the owner, and explained my preferences and allergies. She took the time to listen and made me a delicious smoothie that was exactly what I was looking for. It was fresh, flavorful, and gave me energy for the rest of the day. The place itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well organized, with a wide selection of healthy food and drink options. I highly recommend stopping by, especially if you haven't visited before. You'll be glad you did!

Squeeze the day!…read more Beets Juice Bar is a small local business with 3 locations in NJ: Park Ridge, Allendale, and Montvale. I was in the Montvale area and decided to stop in because ya girl was PARCHED and in need of a refreshing pick-me-up. The store is located inside The Shoppes at DePiero Farm, so there's plenty of parking available. The interior is bright, modern, and decorated with lush plants that create a relaxing atmosphere. There's five tables, along with counter seating where you can watch the kitchen in action as they prep and blend each drink fresh to order. The menu is packed with options--it almost feels a little overwhelming! They've got everything from fresh juices and smoothies to protein shakes, wellness shots, and coffee, all made with a solid variety of fruits, vegetables, and superfoods. Looking for something more filling? There are acai bowls you can fully customize with different bases and toppings. There's also grab-and-go items like overnight oats, wraps, protein bites, and veggies with hummus. Most of the menu is organic, gluten free, and vegan. It's technically healthy and an easy way to get in some extra antioxidants and nutrients. But it's also worth keeping in mind that some of the drinks and bowls can sneak up on you with high sugar levels and calories. After going back and forth between a few options, I decided to order the Inflammation Fix Juice [~$10], made with cucumber, kale, apple, lemon, turmeric, and ginger. There's a 2.6% discount for cash payments. Service was quick, and my drink was prepared within a few minutes. Was it worth the $10? No. It wasn't like any juice bar drink I've had before...not in the good way. It came out almost lukewarm instead of cold. The texture was a bit frothy. It tasted a little too sweet. The apple and cucumber really took over the flavor profile and masked the rest of the ingredients. I could barely taste the ginger and turmeric, which was a disappointment because I LOVE that strong, spicy kick they give. I'm giving it 3 stars because it wouldn't be fair to write them off after trying just one drink. If I'm in the area again, I'd probably give them another try and maybe get a smoothie instead. And honestly, I'm not a big fan of spending money on juices and smoothies since I prefer eating fruits and veggies whole. But every now and then, it's just easier to pay for the convenience lol.

At the register, it was a little confusing as there was no line that had formed. There were people standing in front of the register and the young employee would just shout "next customer" and someone would decide to go next. In my opinion, I think the back room should have a door or curtain just for the employees privacy. I would not want customers seeing me eating or on my phone while I'm on a break. I'm sure most people know it's a break room, but for those who don't would be wondering why there are people sitting when the front of the store has customers waiting for their order to be taken. Back to the food... I got a panini with mozzarella, tomato, basil and chicken (additional $4.50). And I also go the Clean Green smoothie. They gave me a numbered placard so that someone could deliver my food to my table. The panini was good, but unfortunately the chicken was very dry and the ends of the bread was soggy. For something that was just made, the bread should not be soggy like it had been sitting in a liquid for a while. The smoothie was ok. I think they put too much vanilla extract in it because that was the only thing I could really taste. I think the banana needed to ripen for another day. Also, there was a grainy texture and I can't figure out why as there was no powder added to it. According to the menu, the ingredients are coconut water, banana, cucumber, spinach, dates, and vanilla extract. The total for my sandwich and drink was $31. This is an ok but overpriced lunch. I might come back to try something else in the future.

It's the only instance when I take my sweet time consuming my coffee. For my meal, I ordered the Burrito Bowl (organic black beans, brown rice, cheese, onion, red & yellow peppers, lettuce, tomato). These truffles are incredible and highly recommended. Enjoy your visit to Mindful Cafe and the blissful surroundings.
