Well the service was great at the ice cream shop but unfortunately the ice cream was no Bueno. The ice cream was old, as in it had those ice crystals in it and had that freezer burn taste to it. (those who have had ice cream in the freezer for half a year no exactly what I'm talking about) There are tables outside, where you can sit in the inside is pretty nice as well. read more

You order at a window outside. We were early so we did get a table. We ordered 2 burgers with 2 side of fries and a ham and cheese sandwich. The food was ok but my grandson and I thought the burgers had an off taste. The service was fine. There are not a lot of choices to have something to eat here. At tourist attraction, food can ofter times be mediocre. They know they have you, and they know visitors will order regardless of reputation. The Miners Grill is NOT one of those establishments. The Miners Grill is bringing quality food with quality service. Menu is posted on the wall. Prices are reasonable. Portions are generous. Orders are placed at the order window. The person who took our order was pleasant, as was the person who gave us our order. They run the kitchen like a well oiled machine. The restaurant was busy. Our number was called in about 10-15 minutes. The grilled chicken sandwich was tender and juicy. Sourdough bread was toasted to a golden brown. Bread wasn't greasy. We were offered ketchup, mustard and ranch. I added mustard to the chicken sandwich. I would happily eat that sandwich again. My children enjoyed their miner burgers and grilled cheese. Produce on the chicken sandwich and miner burgers were crisp and fresh. Fries were hot. They were soft inside with a light crisp to the outside. The person who ordered the chicken strips thought they were just okay. Chicken strips were dry. Seating is outside. Patio is primarily covered. The hard working staffers were scooping up tasty Shamrock Farms brand ice cream which made for the perfect treat when visiting the Goldfield Ghost Town. The ice cream shop is attached to a window ordering snack bar (miners grill). While the space was limited inside there was ample seating up front outside and in their back patio area. We visited this place on 01/21/2022 a cool Friday morning with our classroom of special needs students on a field trip. I've been to other similar places in Arizona and in other states. This one showcases the beautiful views of the Superstition Mountains and Organ Pipe catus in abundance...today the Arizona weather was perfect. I must say that buying a cup of Joe at $6 bucks or a scoop of ice cream for $8 on a teacher salary is pricey. That said the area is fantastic, lots of things to see, great picture opportunities....pricey but understandable considering the location. After lots of sightseeing and taking some awesome pictures. We decided to find a nice spot for our group of special needs students to have their lunch. We located a covered area towards the rear of the Ice Cream Parlor and being that it was not closed off...we sat down for lunch. Please keep in mind that other than a few no smoking signs everything pointed that it was open to the public. Twenty plus minutes into our lunch a man came out of the Ice Cream Parlor rear door and asked who was in charge. He then said that "this is my dining area and is not a picnic area-for that you all need to head to the railroad station....NEXT TIME, I WONT BE SO NICE!" he turned around clearly agitated and walked back into the Ice Cream Parlor mumbling some negative comments. We had no chance to say anything as he was quick, rude and to the point. It was a disappointing end to our beautiful, fun filled and enriching morning. Our students had never visited this place and had such a fantastic time. We might of even gone inside to purchase Ice cream if he had not rudly interrupted out morning with his nasty disposition. We left that area, climbed into our school vehicle and stopped for ice cream at a place were customer service is at the top of the list and they are not rude...delicious strawberry Sunday for $2 bucks. Yes, the Costco just a few miles down the road. This is a nice place and fun to sight see...definitely kid friendly. I would just stay away from the Ice Cream Parlor and please-please DO NOT SIT IN THE COVERED AREA AT THE REAR OF THE Ice Cream Parlor...it is not taken lightly. Oh yeah....no comment on the rest rooms as they seemed scarce and on this visit we did not need to visit the restrooms. read more

One of the best Hamburgers I have had in a while! Fries were really good as well. I would definitely recommend.

We were hungry and had time to kill before our saloon photoshoot and we're hungry. We originally went to the bigger restaurant at the top of the hill (Mammoth Steakhouse and Saloon) but weren't acknowledged for what seems like forever. Decided we were wasting our time there and headed to the Miners Grill. Glad we did because not only was the service quick and the food decently priced, the staff was friendly and welcoming. We all got our food within 10 minutes of ordering and enjoyed it with some beer in the warm winter weather on the patio. Wish we had time to get some ice cream because everyone passing by made it look yummy. read more

Stopped here while in town to visit the area and enjoyed one of the tastiest burgers. Juicy, flavorful and quick to our table. The price wasn't horrible for a tourist town but the fries weren't that good so you can skip those. The water had an odd flavor but that's just cause I'm a water snob. Although I don't have a pic of the food.. it was a great burger! Everything was hot and fresh, made to order. The toppings for the burger were fresh and crisp as well.. Prices are a little steep but it is what it is being a little tourist ghost mining town. Also, The fries didn't have any salt. But overall I'll give it a 4! read more

Loved the ice cream! I had the dynamite crunch on their homemade waffle cones. Yes they are freshly made everyday. ( I found this out after a very helpful nice girl helped me) I also had a cheeseburger with fries and it was delicious! *Updated to 1 star instead of 3* My mother, sister, and I first visited this area today around noon. Our first stop was this establishment for a quick lunch and then a walk around the area. Everything on the patio area was super clean including the tables and seats, the menu was also easy to read but there wasn't too much on it. When we walked up to the counter to have our orders written down, the employee (white male about 5'8 or 5'9 ish) taking it was being very irritable and downright rude to us. Don't know what's wrong in his life or in his day but it certainly should not reflect how he communicates with customers especially if they are being very nice and respectful to him. However, the person at the pickup window was extremely nice to us as we got our food! Overall, the food was average and filling, but I don't know if I'd return to this specific place due to how we were treated. read more

I got the mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cone. The waffle cone was fresh and crunchy and the ice cream portions are generous. Service was very friendly and welcoming. We sat inside and ate our ice cream which was a nice respite from the heat outside. I will stop in again the next time I visit Goldfield Ghost Town. read more

I absolutely love eating lunch here! The staff is very friendly and down to earth. Very clean environment. I love the chicken strips! They are like giant compared to some that I have had in other places! Their meals are very consistent, very satisfying! Another one of my favorites is the Goldfield burger! This place is awesome! I brought my kids here and they had a lot of fun they loved the tour down the mine I did too it was very informative and fun. The food was delicious we had the cheese burger and after we had some ice cream best ice cream I've ever had my son kept asking for another cheese burger and he never asks for seconds so I knew he loved it lol. After we got done seeing the whole place my kids decided to get wet at the big brown water container (I don't know what is called sorry) after that we got some snow cones those were delicious too!
