I am writing this review about a week after we moved into the Monroe apartments. The application process was pretty easy; Gil and company did a great job walking us through the process and answering questions we had. While we were filing out the condition paperwork and inspecting the property our first day with the keys, we found some issues, when we turned the paperwork in, maintenance was in the apartment the next day getting these issues fixed. Gil mad sure to follow up with us to ensure that things had been taken care of to our satisfaction. It really seems like Gil is working hard and doing a really nice job, he certainly seems to genuinely care that expectations are met and exceeded where possible. 1/10 do not recommend. The one star is because of the quiet nature of the area. Oh let's not forget the fancy Tv they put outside that tenants haven't had access to. That they are making tenants now pay for, as the water bill goes up in the summer time for pool. Foundation issues sidewalks flooded leave out your home and have to make a choice step in Dog poop or walk in massive water puddle. outdated cabinets all over the unit unless you opt into what they call a "premium " and that's just cheap cabinet's painted over. They show you staged units with up to date appliances and in unit apartments when you agree to sign the lease they put you in something totally different. The staged units are always on the right side of the leasing office. They put your washer and dryer in a space where you would have to close that door in order to open your refrigerator.Dishwashers don't work they fill up with water when it rains leaving a standing water scent. the floors under the kitchen sink are caved in because the pipes just come off your sink. leaving water everywher. Tenants homes have flooded with raw sewage.Maintenance comes to try and rectify the situation plumbers, carpet cleaners running industrial fans in your unit on your electricity the management won't compensate you. They run up your bills and if you don't pay their rent because you have had to cover deductibles they issue you a 5/30 day notice. and a late fee having no compassion after your unit and personal items have been destroyed. Lets not forget the ant and spider issues birds that have made a nest outside the build leaving holes and the squirrels who have also made a home you can hear them in the walls and don't let a rodent die in the walls or the astrolabe the units smelling for days. Bathroom cabinet s falling apart, toilet paper holder doesn't fit the hardware, chips of the would from under the sink fall off frequently. Kitchen cabinets Are cheap bottom of the drawers fall out when you open it. Where the pipes are under the sink fall off, big old holes around the pipes leaving access for rodents to invade and eat holes in your food. when you reach out about it the place sticky traps and never return to check on them but don't fix the problem nor repair the hole. Patio doors are outdated and off track. Locks on them don't work. Oh now they want to issue a 5 day notice and a 1,029 every time you are late past the 5 days even if it is just 1 day past due on top of the late fee. when you send them emails about your issue they never respond on a good day they will call you back so there is no record that they even spoke to you about anything. They go in and make adjustments to your account at their leisure. When you ask about it they act as if it's normal. read more

It's not the apartment I give the lowest possible score allowed here. I actually liked the apartment. Beware some questionable business practices. I came to the end of my second year and gave my two month notice. I spent quite a bit of time getting the apartment broom ready which, by my understanding, is the legal standard. Twice.... Not once but twice... I requested a walk through including the afternoon I handed the keys in and twice I was denied. I was told that they would go back and review after I left and let me know. Against my better judgement I left. Big mistake. About 10 days of water I get a final bill for a lot of misc stuff plus supposed damages. I paid the little charges which I know I owed but wrote back to the complex asking for more information about damages that I know weren't there. I got no reply. What I did get was a letter from a collection agency approx three weeks after I left or about one week after I got their letter which means they contacted collections before I ever got a notification of what I owed. Bottom line, think long and hard before signing anything with these people. Think really really hard. One star is too much. read more

One of the many properties that Trinity Property Consultants owns blew up on 9/12/21. Tenants for weeks/months were complaining to management of a very strong gas smell and management ignored the tenants concerns. On 9/12/21 Arrive Perimeter in Dunwoody, GA blew up. There are many articles about it via Google search. Tenants are contacting lawyers. Some tenant were hurt, broken bones, burns and all told to evacuate and move out and find another place to live. The explosion could be felt 1/2 mile away from Arrive Perimeter. This place has had ongoing issues for quite some time, but it has gotten to the point to where the little things have turned to large things and can no longer be ignored. This property has horrendous issues with drainage. Dirt literally runs off from the yards onto the sidewalks and into the parking lot to such a degree that it is carving significant divets out of the sides of the sidewalks, creating horrible tripping hazards and exposing your underground internet cables for the squirrels to chew up. The property is completely covered in dog crap, and while they provide bags, it takes maintenance almost a month to change out the cans and replace the bags when they're empty. For context, hornets were able to make a little nest on the inside of the dog poop bag dispenser in the time that it took them to change out the bags, and they didn't even remove the nest when they did. The insides of these apartments are very cheaply maintained, and my unit in particular sports lazily painted over water damage and electrical outlets in my kitchen and bathrooms that are not up to code. Our walls are paper thin, all of our doors have fallen off their hinges at least twice, and our microwave is falling apart--but don't fret, they say they'll replace it, but have not told me when. When the property was sold in early September, they shut down their emergency line, and with the rain and plummeting temperatures, a pipe burst in the floor of the unit next to mine, which consequently flooded my closet, destroying my furniture, a laptop that had pictures I will never be able to replace, and countless garments that have been in my family for generations. The leasing office wasted no time in telling us the renters insurance they supplied wasn't renters insurance at all, and after securing a GARBAGE BAG to the pipe and funneling the water out the back of my unit, they let me sit with a wet floor and a crap fan to dry up the mess for almost a week. In the week that I was dealing with this, the bag slipped and my closet refilled with water once more. At this point my husband and I started to become ill, having to sleep next to stagnant water for a week, and the leasing office offered nothing but halfhearted, careless apologies and no solutions. I had maintenance workers in and out of my apartment all day for almost two weeks with sonar equipment, jackhammering on the other side of my wall for leaks that didn't exist, and overall disrupting my day to day life (I work from home) to find the cheapest alternative to actually doing their job right, all the while giving me the BP-oil-spill "I'm sorry." While I was physically ill and my work suffering. We asked for a credit and heard nothing about it until the rent was due, which was a resounding and unsurprising 'NO!'. The very next day, a main pipe burst under the cement in our building, shutting off our water over the weekend and once restored, filling our sinks, toilets, and tubs with shitty, dirty water that I now have to clean up because they absolutely refuse to do a job correctly. Do NOT rent here. Your packages get stolen, your car gets dented from neighbors slamming their doors into yours, there is dog crap everywhere, and the property is horribly maintained. The dog park is an absolute crying joke, and the amenities they speak of are very loosely considered amenities. read more

Renters BEWARE!!Saw an apartment, loved it. With 3 incomes , a cosigner with 3 incomes I did not qualify. That's fine can I get my deposit back as fast as you took it? While you go on with life, Me and my family are on a fixed income as you are aware, soon to be displaced as you are aware. I need my money back. I will update this when I receive my refund. I mean give me a break 65.00 for 4 people that is nonfundable isn't enough to show me a unit and deny me? Can I get my 250.00 back please? Thanks. Been more than nice. I ask for a call back and get a Guarantor email that does not Guarantee me anything and is an insurance broker. I do not agree to that. Your denial is that. Recently had a pipe burst during a winter storm in my shower and they did come out on Christmas Eve which I will commend them for however when the repair was done the contractor they used left my bathroom coated in drywall dust including my toothbrush, glasses etc and caulk all over the floor. On top of that they left some black sludge on the bottom of my shower. The repair was done when I wasn't home which I will never have happen again. read more

Toilet has overflow about three time in less than a year. The day before thanksgiving our sink, dishwasher and washing machine were overflowing with disgusting water. Our front entry way was soaked with water that smelled like sewage. No one came to fix the problem for day so we had to live in filth. We've had mild since moving in the came to clean it but never tested it, left that up to us. They never salt or plow and for what everyone pays it's insane. 10/10 wouldn't recommend for what you pay for the place. Frank is amazing though he tries his best with all the issues. read more

I moved into the Monroe apartments in September of 2020. They did not show me my actual unit or building before moving in. They show you a staged unit in an upkept building. My actual unit had fixtures painted over, the bath tub was peeling as it was painted with normal paint one of the outlets didn't even work. The building itself needed upgrading. There were scuffs and marks all over the walls and the railing was hanging out of the wall and not even secured. The building had drainage issues leaving running water from rain the flood the side walks with mud that was impossible to walk through or around, this also left cracks in the side walk which was a serious tripping hazard. There is not enough parking so after work while pregnant I would have to walk from a different lot to my building. When I first resigned my lease it was a $50 increase, which is pretty normal. A few months later I asked to be put on a list for their 2 bedrooms. I called a month later and the girl at the office was confused at what I was even talking about. I then got a notice that my rent would be increased by $350 a month with no reasoning as to why. I then decided to move to another complex in Oct of 2022. It is now August of 2023 and I still have no received my security deposit. The lady in the office just keeps telling me sorry I don't know what's going on. This is not acceptable at all!!! A security deposit is legally to be returned within 45 days!!!! I do not recommend this complex at all. There is no communication between the parent company and office. All they want to do is get you in and forget about you and the property afterwards. Disgusting if you ask me... read more

I think apartment living is probably not amazing in general, but I wouldn't live here again. When the upstairs neighbors washer overflowed so much that we woke up to standing water on our floor, they didn't repair the dry wall in the ceiling, they just painted and re-sealed it. Yikes. The maintenance staff is super nice and does their best, there's just too much going on. Although for about a year or covid, we were essentially left to fend for ourselves except for really bad maintenance emergencies because they had to avoid contact with anyone. So...that was annoying because part of my rent is going to making sure someone is able to fix something if it needs to be. read more

Good location but everything else is rundown in Monroe. The appliances are ALWAYS broken and they have a way to make you feel as if it's your fault. They don't have your best interest (once you are in) nor honor the contract. Some of their below rank/staff are RUDE as well and unprofessional. read more

Not sure if I reside at the Mark or the Monroe, as I just renewed my lease into a larger unit sight unseen. Jermae and Matt in leasing office made this happen, Frank in maintenance is the reason I decided to trust this company. Frank is a stand up guy, has responded to my maintenance requests on a Sunday and assisted the lower tenant from me when we had a plumbing issue. Were it not for Frank, I wouldn't be interested in renewing.... But when the actual building manager in charge of things is as responsive as he is, this property earned my business. As long as Frank works here, I'll be looking to renew. read more

If I could leave less than a star I would. I'm an active duty military soldier up here for recruiting purposes. Sold my house as I was on orders, orders were changed for later so we settled into an apartment. Recently this complex was bought by another company and it's a total disaster. We had pipes burst in our closet during the weekend a few weeks back. The emergency line was down for the weekend. Ok fine...closet fills with water, walls soaking water. Ok. They couldn't get a plumber to fix it for almost two weeks. We had still water sitting in our closet for roughly a week and a half before it dried up. Vents have mold, possibly the walls. Their solution initially was to run garbage bags to the grass outside where the issue was found to stream the water away. They did it for 1 day. They drilled holes in our closet, which we have since had spiders and mosquitoes and flys everywhere. And when approaching the management about these issues they roll their eyes or ignore you. Absolutely recommend to all my military friendly family out there to avoid this place. I have never had a team of individuals care less about my health and well-being. And I have been in combat. My wife is a high risk pregnancy and having that happen for how long it happened and being treated like a constant problem and met with a piss poor sorry is not enough. Not to mention I lost a third of my apartment for half a month and they just shrug it off and ask full price. I am moving to my next assignment in south Carolina. Closing on a wonderful home. I will be avoiding this place like the plague and advise everyone else steer clear. Less than 1000 sq feet for almost $2k. I just got my new construction house, 2000 sq feet and monthly is much less. This young lady went out of her way to make my transition into a bigger apartment as smooth as possible. From explaining everything on the lease and double-checking to make sure that I understood everything. DO NOT MOVE HERE even though it's a nice community, the new ownership/management are making renovations, they all need to see the wizard for a brain. I wish I could've left NO STAR rating. They do NOT communicate with the residents. A man was at my door at 6am to paint my door & said to leave my door open. I received a voice mail stating lower your music at 10pm & be mindful of your neighbors & consider this a soft warning. We don't play music & are in bed by 9. I didn't take that lightly & had to go inside to confront them because our building was VERY QUIET!!! They had my ComEd account closed & placed in their name 1-31-18 & lied said they didn't do it & charged me astronomical recovery fees every month. I'm asthmatic & went part of June & all of July without air. We were issued a $150 credit yet August rent payment said pay $236.16 in which we did & thought it was so low because of the credits to be given for those recovery fees. September rent was overcharged due to their August error (including late fees) & expected us to pay it without notifying us of their glitch; our lease was never renewed due to them not having any & lived there 6 months without a lease; received an email to renew the lease & they were going up $55 yet my neighbors went up $10 then the following week we were told we have 30 days to move because they're not renewing our lease. They wanted over 2k AND wanted us to be gone in 30 days. They took us to court & lost their case. When I turned in our keys I was threatened they would bill me through October 17 & put it in collections. My court documents stated to return all keys by 5pm & this case will be dismissed without prejudice. THEY ARE STILL TRYING IT & if we get sent to collections we will sue them! I never give a 5 star, but this place it's pretty close. It has all the amenities, gym, pool, dog friendly, etc... it's new ownership for the past two years and they've made a lot of great improvements. Frank the maintenance manager, Stacey and others in the office have been wonderful. I will say I had some major issues when I switched Apartments, a nasty neighbor, a leak, but over the past month they have made everything perfect and I couldn't be happier. Maintenance is quick to respond and office staff is quick to accommodate. This is my 5th apartment here and I love it. No place is perfect but they are very professional, and they do their best to accommodate everyone. I will probably be here for a long time. The grounds are well-kept and I'm very happy with my living arrangements. If you're an animal lover this is definitely the place to move to, there's beautiful dogs everywhere. read more

Just moved in with my girlfriend a few weeks ago and everything has been great so far! We have a beautiful view over looking the golf course. Neighbors are very friendly and we enjoyed the pool over the weekend! Love our new home and Grace our leasing agent was so helpful finding us the perfect home! read more

If your considering moving here I would have had better things to say prior to the new owners. I have chosen to edit this review after the wonderful reply provided. But I do want to outline the following: No more hot tub, they took that away. They did repaint the hallways however I don't relax in the hallway. 30% of all Residence have gas grills, new owners say not anymore. However they said it's the city but the city told me the mange company requested a letter and emailed me the following (Maybe a petition of your neighbors to request it be changed might help them understand the importance to you...just a thought!) So now we all have to get rid of our new grills? Or do we? There are specific buildings for pets and people who smoke. They just said they are making all units non smoking. Pets will be next and then who knows. They did install new toilets though. read more

I really enjoy living here. My furnace broke on a Sunday and maintance was there within an hour and brought a heater until the heating company could replace the furnace which was New Year's Eve. I have never had a problem with them fixing anything that was broke. Thanks guys!!!! read more

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!! I'm a current residence right now and have been for 2 years now they've changed management once so far and this new management sucks. BE AWARE if you even have their apartment sticker the towing truck will still tow and after going back and fourth how WRONG that is you still have to pay over $200 to get your car back. Eveb though your car has their apartment sticker!! WHAT A SCAM!!! And if your looking for an apartment complex that smells like WEED 24/7 and disclosing that with the office that they need to do something about that and they don't. YUCK by all means I can for sure say this place is a complete DUMP!! read more

I really wished I would have read these reviews before I moved here. Who ever moves into building 50 in Glendale Heights and has issues with the people down stairs complaining about EVERY single step you take, sneeze you make or door you close and the office can care less if you put in a complaint but when the down stairs people (they are prevledge) puts in a complaint they adress it and take it seriously real quick meanwhile I am waiting days later and nothing. But they are real quick to send a notice about something else and dont even acknowldge my issue. The neighbors pound violently and aggressively on thier ceiling for any sound. So if anyone moves in this unit after me and has the same issues (because the people down stairs are not going anywhere) feel free to reach out to me if you need a witness in court because honestly it's bound to happen... I moved here temporarily while trying to find a house had no idea the market was as competitive as it is and ended up having to stay longer and unfortunately experince the ignorance of both the neighbors and the management. If I can give 0 Star I would definitely do it. I've lived at this place since July 15th 2017, and now I decide to move out. I had the worst experiences with this place. Starting the first day I moved in... On the day I signed lease, they changed my apt to another smaller, dirty, no sunshine and worse decoration apt. I was told that The one I applied for was non pet building and it wasn't showed on the website. I marked that I had a small dog on my application and they just found that on the day I moved in, then forced me to change another apt. I was having all my luggage with me on that day. Well the 'new' apt was at first floor, spiderweb was everywhere, very old carpet and kitchen decoration, even no microwave. And yes the rent was $30 lower than the the I applied for, but I didn't care ok? And now, I've been overseas since February, I want to move out ASAP and try to contact them for hundreds of times by phone calls, after they changed another property company , I don't have their email address anymore. I called and called, every time they just leave a message for me and promise they would call me back. NOOOOO...... never call me back. Today my bf stopped by their office, and we were told that I have to pay my rent until August 10th, because I didn't tell them I would move out 30 days before my lease ends, and no longer need to renew my lease. I TRIED TO CONTACT YOU!!!!! NO ONE EVER GAVE ME A RESPONSE!!!! Then how could I tell you that I'm going to move out!?!?!? I apologize that you couldn't reach me with my phone number but there's my email address in your system, and emergency number, I also leave my bf'a phone number to you guys... today my bf stop by and asked them 'why you never call us back?' And they said nothing, awkward silence. This is the worst experience for me ever, I would never come back to this place. I'll leave my lawyer to take care of this case, would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have lived here almost a year and I love. The apartment is newly renovated; as is the exercise room. The pool & furnishings are well kept up. I often need to come home late at night; I feel very safe and there is always parking available. The exterior of the buildings have recently been painted and look lovely. The interior hallways are cleaned weekly. The snow removal has been accomplished in a timely manor. There are many dogs in the complex, and all of the owners are very responsible in picking up after their pets. Overall, great place to live! read more

Scheduling a viewing was like pulling teeth. The phone number on the website went to a call center, and literally any question you ask will be answered with, "Let me contact the property and ask them, they'll follow up with you in several days (which they did not)," and kind of defeats the purpose of having a human person answering the phone at all. My fiance and I never heard back from the property about our questions, but finally allowed the contact center to schedule an appointment and e-mail us the address. We drove an hour away to the appointment, only to find it's the wrong address and that the property isn't open for another hour, so we sit in the car for an hour trying to entertain an antsy 2 year old. Once it opens, no apologies are given, just a thoughtful, "Oh. So anyway.." We loved being close to work, the fireplace, and the open kitchen layout though, so through a lot of perseverance on our part, we finally got an application processed and moved in. It was six months into a 12 month lease before we received our fob for access to the gym, pools, sauna, and technology center. We went in to the office several times every week just to be told it isn't resolved yet (which they conveniently left out during the lease signing process), and request for financial accommodation for loss of access are ignored. Their justification was "didn't we tell you? we actually waived the amenities fee during leasing, so you're welcome!" They told us we could have just walked down the road to use their sister property during office hours, but we both WORK during office hours, so not exactly a solution to their breaking our lease agreement. Who takes off personal time from work to be allowed to workout or swim at your community? My fiance and I move a lot for work, so I've lived at 8 different apartments over the last 8 years, and this has to be the worst managed. However, I'm tired of moving, so despite everything I wanted to see how to renew my lease. I was quoted a time frame for receiving the new lease and a maximum increase. I never received it and had to request it to be resent, and finally received it two months before the lease expires. Lo and behold, the minimum it would increase was over three times the quoted amount, and the fine print quoted lease terms were "this amount is first come first serve", so even that one may not be available for long. When I went to the office to ask, they said it's actually based on market prices. If that's the case, why bother quoting me a minimum 2 months prior? I would have been looking for something I could afford in that time. Pair that with towing friends' cars, neighbors smoking on the balcony below us in non-smoking apartments, dogs left on their balconies being allowed to bark 24 hours a day, and constant sirens, I think it may be time to move on to apartment number 9. read more
