This place was really fun and offers a lot of specials. As a couple that was together for 6 years this Valentine's Day, we wanted to something more low key, especially since we're saving up for our wedding soon. I saw that Tomahawks was doing a deal on Valentine's Day for a % off if you booked online, so I did just that! When we got there, it was pretty packed. We check in in, ordered a drink and got to meet the friendly staff people that would end up taking care of us for our hour-long journey. We got in a short how-to lesson and then got right to work with our 'partners' (you somewhat share a lane with another couple unless you came with 4 people). I somehow never really caught on to how to throw axes very well, but everyone around me seemed to pick it up pretty seamlessly. We still had tons of fun even though I sucked at it. It was also very satisfying when I finally scored the occasional target! By the time an hour is up, you're pretty exhausted but also happy with your handiwork. My fiancée has been back for their 'throw and bro' Thursday's, where it only costs the guys $20 to throw on Thursday's.

Axe throwing initially seemed like something difficult to do, let alone master. Although our axe master was relatively new, she was very helpful and guided us through the basics of axe throwing and gave us some good practices. I was landing axes on the board in no time and was even able to land some trick throws. It was also pretty fun playing the various games they offer with the axe throwing. Ultimately, it was a good experience but quite pricey for its value.

My first time trying something like this, and I definitely want to come back! They take reservations and offer an awesome military discount. The man that was our "axe master" was not only competent, but so much fun!

The Tiebreaker

Have done this a few times it's a great experience this place is so much fun and different. You have a person with you the entire time coaching you and we played some cool games. They have a lot of local beers, it's a good night out with friends.

Upon returning, we were paired with an "Axe Master", who was knowledgeable and guided us through axe throwing technique and etiquette.

Menu description: panko-fried avocado, crispy bacon, heirloom tomatoes, arcadian lettuce, roasted red pepper and garlic crema on toasted sourdough. It was toasted white bread, chopped romaine, plain avocado slices, regular tomatoes, crispy bacon, and the crema. If I wanted a basic BLT, I'd have ordered it. And probably paid less. Im not a picky person but one should be able to expect to get a product as advertised. Waitress was fantastic - I explained I know it's not her, but I was super disappointed. I said I'd still eat it but she said they'd comp it and offer me something else. The New Orleans Pasta was delicious. Yum! Rated 3 instead of 2 because of the waitress and service

There are some really tasty options here and service was good. We even got used to the frequent thud of bowling balls being dropped on the lanes to where we hardly noticed the sound. The charcuterie board for 2 was generous for $16 and was enjoyed throughout the meal. The Sully Sullenberger burger was tasty and the fries that came with were outstanding. I wouldn't come here again without getting those fries. They didn't need any ketchup. It's going to be noisy because this is a bowling alley/arcade after all. There is that thump of bowling balls hitting the lanes as well as plenty of kids. If you come for the food you can seek out the dining area back behind the bar to minimize the noise.
