I can't say enough great things about the experience I had with Emily! I didn't have an exact idea of what I wanted my flowers to look like but I knew that I wanted to incorporate roses and lavender for sentimental reasons. She encouraged me to create a pinterest board and she used that to get familiar with my taste and created a vision. She executed the flowers flawlessly. Not only that but she ordered the most beautiful and unique roses I've ever seen (see my pics!). I follow her on Instagram (TheMoodyBlooms) and I'm blown away by her creations. Outside of Emily's amazing skills as a florist, she was also my day of coordinator. I wanted zero stress leading up and on my wedding day, and she made that happen (which is incredible cause I planned my wedding in 3 months). We met and talked about timelines and what she found to be the best way to have things flow the 'day of' based on the countless weddings she has worked. She had her assistant Sam with her the day of my wedding, and they helped keep things flowing without my knowledge and even helped with little things like bustling my dress or making sure I had a glass of champagne or food to eat! Unfortunately did not get to work with Emily. I was really looking forward to the opportunity to work with Emily for my wedding as her reviews are so amazing. I went over my vision with her and after about two rounds of finalizing the contract, she completely stopped responding to my emails. I followed up with her once or twice, because she had been so excited and responsive prior to that. After a month I finally got a response from her that another wedding popped up and she will be taking that one instead. I understand as a wedding vendor you want to prioritize close family and friends, but the complete lack of communication has left me without a florist 4 months away from my wedding.
