Jessica and I collaborated met in person and spoke online to get the vision for the day flushed out. I really wanted to incorporate my handmade ceramics and husbands hand carved wooden candle stick holders as part of the design for the wedding table scape. Jessica made the most beautiful whimsical arrangements in the ceramic bowls I made! I also wanted a unique floral installment for the ceremony and decided to DIY some large organza flowers and Jessica made a beautiful box design to go along the bottom! I ended up loving how everything looked it was such a fun and collaborative experience. I highly recommend getting a mock up! When we first booked SWD Floral, we provided her with example photos we found online of what we had in mind and her work exceeded our expectations! Her pricing is affordable and straight forward with no hidden charges. We wanted to have florals that were simple, but vibrant and still stood out. The bouquets came out beautifully and we loved the standing pieces she created for the ceremony. At the reception, the greenery and set up for the sweetheart table also blew us away! We were able to order our cake flowers from her as well (wedding cake by Simply Sweet Cakery). What to write about a florist who is literally perfect? Jessica is a bride's dream florist. She is beyond helpful, has beautiful taste and is so fun to work with! She is also an animal lover like us and we bonded very quickly over that! When we had our first meeting to talk floral designs for our Labor Day weekend wedding, she listened intently to what we like, what we prefer to avoid (my husband didn't want anything "pokey" and that became a running inside joke) and also listened and was very conscious about our budget. She never told us no, instead she provided options based on our budget. When we arrived at our venue the day of our wedding, we were blown away with what she had created!
