Also claimed that his partner was "Arabic" which isn't correct and no Arab would ever identify themselves as that either. My partner and friends - being Arab themselves - were left speechless when sharing the interaction lol. Anyways, would not recommend coming here to smoke at all. They missed The Point with that one. But their drinks, the bartenders, and the fries were great.

I started with the mozzarella sticks. They were exactly what you'd expect--nothing particularly memorable, but they satisfied the craving. For my entrée, I ordered the deep-fried seafood basket with all three options: shrimp, oysters, and fish. Everything was perfectly seasoned and fried to a crisp without being overly greasy. It came with cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, and a small serving of coleslaw that balanced the heaviness of the fried foods nicely. The jumbo shrimp were sweet, plump, and succulent, while the oysters and fish were also delicious--exactly what my soul ordered. What truly elevated the evening was the atmosphere. Live music and a spectacular fireworks show over the water. The singer's rendition of the national anthem was absolutely beautiful and gave me goosebumps. Between the food, gorgeous ocean views, live entertainment, and fireworks, this was a memorable dinner and a great way to spend a Friday night on South Padre Island.

A friend recommended antojitos, and I'm so glad they did. 6 tacos with bistec was 5.99 and filled with avocado, queso fresco, a heart helping of bistec, and wrapped in a corn tortilla made with love. It was perfect and really REALLY good. We got two lonches which I was a bit concerned about at first. When I go to Mexico, I normally get 6, but they told me 2 lonches would do it because they were large. They made a good call with this. The lonches were MASSIVE, filled with bistec, and wrapped in a fantastic bread. It was filled with avocados and queso fresco as well. Now, onto the salsas. I love spice. When I was eating, I thought the tacos and lonches were missing a little spice so I tried their red and green salsa. It was unlike anything I got in Mexico and unlike anything I had tried where I'm from. It was pretty spicy( not so spicy the food was unenjoyable though) so it made the tacos and lonches taste even better. Oh, I almost forgot. THEY HAVE GRILLED ONIONS ON THE SIDE.
