    Charcuterie board & Red wine

Great cute cozy spot to sit with friends, family, staff friendly, variety of wine & craft beer options. Loved the cheese boards & cauliflower pizza. Stop by to relax and enjoy the evening with live band.

Example of their wine prices. Around those prices for glass and bottle

RECOMMEND: Cheese board and wine, spinach artichoke dip HH: Tuesday This is truly a rare find in Harlingen! There are really no places around like this one. This wine bar reminds me of the ones I would find back home in SA and Dallas. The place is very spacious with comfy leather couches and different wooden tables. There's a stage as well so maybe on weekends there's live music at night. The service is really friendly, and if you're a student - there are actually plenty of outlets and the wifi is strong if you want a different studying spot! WINE: They have a huge selection of white and red wines and they make wine-ritas as well. There's a happy hour that gives a special deal on the wine-ritas on Tuesday and then on the day we went, they were giving 10% off selected wine bottles. If you're going to stay a while with a friend and plan on drinking at least 2 glasses, would probably be best to just split a bottle of wine with a friend (make sure you have a sober ride home! =)) FOOD: --CHEESE BOARD (5/5): There are two types of cheese boards here - the Classic Cheese Platter and the Brie-tiful Cheese Platter. My friend and I decided to go with the CLASSIC CHEESE PLATTER ($10.99) which was plenty for two friends and decently priced for what we got. The board came with sliced salami, mild cheddar, Havarti cheese, Van Gogh cheese, water crackers, grapes, and sliced apples and pears. The fruit was fresh and the meat and cheese pairing with the crackers were delicious! --SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP ($6.99) (4/5): Not much to say here except plentiful dip with crispy chips! PARKING: Only a few spots in front of the place so you'll have to find closer street parking or other side parking in front of other nearby shops. Really wonderful place to bring a group of friends or bring a date!

    Great wine selection

Great place to have a conversation, a glass of wine, or good food. Been there more than once now and I highly recommend it, not a single time I have seen a long face, service always great and willing to help you out with recommendations on either wine of food.

Those looking for a relaxed establishment to enjoy some craft beers, wine, flatbreads, cheese platters, and other edibles need look no further than Carlito's Wine House. As soon as you enter you are greeted with chill vibes as relaxing music eases you into their couches. They also have tables and a bar area. The tables between the couches are large and allow you to play board games as well. I am a beer drinker and enjoy the revolving selection of craft beers on tap. There are also different beers in bottle form as well. One thing I really enjoy about this place is it isn't loud. I am able to chat with my friends without having to yell and lose my voice at the end of the night.

Can never go wrong with a cold beer and cheese plate.

Living in Harlingen you are definitely limited on spots to go to that offer a nice ambiance and great options. Luckily Carlitos fills that void perfectly, with their great food, great beer & wine selection, and nice atmosphere. Easily my favorite place to frequent for a great craft beer, have a cheese plate, and enjoy a conversation with friends.

    Wine and appetizers.

Arrived at Carlito's around 4:30 opening day, great location and atmosphere. We were a big group, only complaint was the seating. Very comfy couches but makes it kind of hard to hear the person across the table from you, once the place starts filling up. The wine selection is great! Tried a variety of wine glasses, my favorite was the Bella Mia. They have a really good beer selection too and decently priced appetizers. Can't wait to go back for their live music nights. I just don't know how I'll be able to hear my party.

    A nice cold Oktoberfest, salud!

Loved the ambience. A very relaxing atmosphere, with jazz playing. Lots of couches to sit, lounge, have a conversation, and not having to yell. Overall a great a great new alternative to the Harlingen scene.

Highly recommend and it cost under $6!

Great atmosphere! We were there in a Saturday and they had a saxophone player. I had sangria and it was super good!

Service can use some training. They told us they had no room but had three tables empty. Decided to go elsewhere. Never going back. See ya!
