Took two classes here and had very different experiences…read more The first class I went to was a resin workshop with Punky Power Productions and it was fun, engaging, and interactive. The instructor was very fun and really willing to help out and inspire. 5 stars. The second workshop i took, just this Sunday, was not great at all. It was a mosaic class and it might as well have been self led. The instructor gave us a brief 3-5 min tutorial on how to place the tiles and then did nothing else except sorted tiles the whole time. She never came around to see how we were doing or if we needed help. We had to keep asking her to come over if we had a question and she didn't really offer too much. She never told us what color we could use, and kept coming over and collecting the extra tiles as we were working. She didn't help us finish up and left before we were done. It was super disappointing.

This is a very cool lil art studio owned by a wonderful person named CD…read more We had the opportunity to attend a couple family parties here and we decided to throw a birthday party here for our daughter's 6th Birthday. We inquired directly with CD for our date and time and she guided us thru the booking process. There was a last minute mixup but CD made every effort to offer us a successfull party....and CD definitely delivered. On the day of our party, we arrived early to a wonderful birthday party setup in the outdoor back patio, decorated nook and and an intimate upstairs studio for our party guests. To be honest, the setup she provided was exactly how we prefer. We were able to bring in and display our offerings for our guests and the parents enjoyed themselves hanging outside while the kids roamed around and enjoyed their painting session upstairs in the studio. CD and her team did an amazing job in making sure our party was a success! You can not go wrong when it comes to art and we were right to go with CD's Art Studio! Aside from Petroglyph and Tutugether--neither of which was the least bit appealing--I couldn't come up with anything. I looked online for a while, and then suggested that we just go and wander around Valley Fair for a while before picking her sister up. I happened to park at Monroe St, and we took the elevator up, the escalator down, and TADA! We were magically standing right in front of this place! We had the most delightfully incredible time making little lands together. She's sweetly said that she wanted to make Mal from The Descendants, and the staff helped her with this. First we chose our scents and blended color and scents into our two candles and then from our leftover we got to make a special mini candle combining all of our candle wax!
