Bar at the R! One of my favorite little gems. Great cocktails, great happy hour, and a cozy ambiance despite being surprisingly spacious. I love coming for a few rounds of pool (there's one table in the back) and being surprised by whatever event they have going on. Service has always been great. The Meat Lovers and Veggie pizza sliders were petite but super yum -- a good little appetizer. Pesto is made in-house and really tasty. Definitely wanna come back for the rest of the menu! read more

Factory Luxe was the old Rainier Brewery Tasting Room before. It has a small stage and great hardwood flooring for Events. They provide a bar if you wanted to rent the Space. I went to see my friend, Masako's Punk Band Moopsies at one fundraising event a couple of weeks ago. I got a postcard saying there is Karaoke the last Sun of every month. Sign ups at 7 pm. I assume they start by 8 pm. I had another filmmaker friend who had a film festival there too. read more

Yelp event was held here this evening & it is a great space for bigger events! They had plenty of room for all the tables used & they had a photo booth in the side room. The stage is a little small but was perfect for the band that played tonight. Overall a great space. Took off one star for parking. I had to do quite of few laps before someone finally left. The Factory Luxe came to my rescue when our original wedding venue decided to shut its doors and run off with $100k worth of money from many a stranded couple. This happened when we had less than 4 months to go for our wedding, and needless to say I was in a blind panic to find a venue with our date open and that would accommodate all our guests and previously decided on vendors. Luxe -- feeling the plight of ~so many~ desperate couples out thousands of dollars, offered anyone who chose them as their new venue a killer discount by waiving their $500 wedding fee. With a price tag now at $900 we had to give them a look and knew right away that their charming space in the the old Rainier Brewing factory was just right for our wedding. So that space? It is great! Beyond being in a classically historical Seattle locale, it has fabulous wood floors, an amazing (and huge) marble bar area, a functional fireplace, stage, a spacious catering kitchen, a great sound system, plus a nice separate alcove room which served perfectly for getting ready and then as our bar. Add on that they have their own tables and chairs and you are looking at a venue that really saves you a penny on rentals plus being MORE than enough for all your event needs. Melinda was also fabulous to work with -- happy to answer the many questions I would send her way, as well as opening the venue for several walk throughs with our photographers, caterer, and officiant. She was there to make sure our big day was special and went off without a hitch, and it certainly did! I cannot express my love and gratitude enough for this awesome venue. If anyone is looking for a great space to host a party for 40-140 people the Factory Luxe will always be my first suggestion. read more

Melinda and the Factory Luxe saved our wedding! After our previous venue fell through six weeks before our wedding day, Melinda was the superhero we needed. And we loved the space so much. It's classy, cool, historical, and very Seattle. My favorite part was the back room where kiddos could run around without disrupting anyone enjoying their meal! It was tight fitting 100+ people in, but we made it work, and Melinda was very communicative, super easy to work with, and a downright joy. We ended up ordering our wine, beer, and kombucha through her just so we had one less thing to pick up and bring with our crew, and it was a great decision. She was super flexible about whatever we chose, and helpful when recommending options everyone would enjoy. We didn't hire a DJ, just set up my laptop with a playlist on the stage, and the dancing was a hit with her sound system! read more

This is an amazing event space tucked into a truly historic and iconic Seattle landmark. Want to host an event that people don't even need directions to? Hold it in The Factory Luxe and just tell people to head straight to the old Rainier building. If they don't know where to go, you don't want them at your party. Seriously though, this event space is great with lots of room and the adaptability to put on whatever type of show, party, celebration, or business meeting you could ever think of. The main room can easily hold a couple hundred people and there's also a smaller, secondary room which can be used together with the main room or as its own, more intimate space. One of my favorite parts about the location is the easy access and abundance of free parking which is always a bonus in Seattle. read more

After Roland Crane and Amanda Crane of the "Historic Hollywood Athletic Club" in Los Angeles left town with their customers' deposits and final payments ( http://q13fox.com/2014/06/11/art-gallery-owners-say-they-will-not-refund-deposits-after-closing-wedding-venue/ ), we were pretty out of luck and out of sorts. Melinda of Factory Luxe stepped up and offered assistance (not just self-promotion) helping us get organized and reorient quickly. She was receptive to our questions and planning, even if she wasn't in the area we could count on responses or another person walking us through. The venue is lovely, the decor as well (shame it wasn't cold enough to need the fireplace), and the amenities fine for our caterer who also appreciated the space. Very reasonable cost for our event, not overly fussy about deposits and payments. On top of it being a great location for our wedding, we've enjoyed Seattle Uncorked events here and look forward to hearing about others. I rented this place for my Engagement Party. I worked with David and Melinda for the details of rentals, and everything was great! First of all I really like this venue, it is spacious enough for up to a 100 people. I only had about 60 guests. So there were more than enough space for us. They gave us the backroom as well with the same price as the main area. We used that back room to serve dessert and tea as well as projecting some of our old picture on a screen. This venue has a large parking lot right in front of it which is free and makes it very convenient for your guests. Regarding the chairs that they have, I strongly suggest you rent your own chairs. We counted on their chairs without inspecting them and a day before the event they allow us to go and set up our stuff since the room was not being used (another bonus), But then we noticed that their own chairs are very very stained. So I called Melinda and she was able to place an order for renting chairs on the morning of our event and we got the rental chairs right on time. They even split the cost of the chair rentals with us. They only charged a minimum $50 cleaning fee extra and the venue cost. No additional surprises and over charges which is common in other venues. Had a really wonderful experience here and totally recommend it. :) read more

A phenomenal place! My husband and I chose this venue for our wedding last month, after looking at many options. It had everything that we were looking for- flexible catering/bar choices, indoor/outdoor space, iconic location, large time block, and-most importantly an amazing owner/day of coordinator- Melinda. From planning to execution everything was on point. Melinda was always available to help us with questions, planning, advise. She even introduced us to Jeff at Hengst Studio next door where we had our ceremony (he and his artwork was amazing too!) Our wedding was exactly what we had hoped for- a beautiful space that made us and our guests feel at ease and comfortable. I highly recommend this venue! read more

The management and staff are prefect to work with and so accommodating and kind. The venue was perfect for our wedding and reception on New Year's Eve. It was the time of our life and with many other normal wedding hiccups m-everything with the venue and staff went flawlessly. I cannot thank them enough. We will post more pictures when I have time. We had approx 89 guests. Perfect for the ceremony. Very tight for cocktail in the bar area and tight but fine for seated dinner. We used a combination of the round tables provided by the venue and 4 long tables we rented. It maximized space and made plenty of room for fancy and fun when dinner was over. read more

I held my 50th birthday party at The Factory Luxe and it could not have gone better. Melinda is very easy to work with and the venue was perfect. We had a jazz band play and the sound system was great. The back room is a hidden gem that I thought would be used by the older guests at my party but turned out to be a great place for the young kids to hang out. I cannot recommend The Factory Luxe highly enough. read more

We absolutely loved our wedding at the Factory Luxe. Not only was the space beautiful and a historic Seattle building, but the staff really outdid themselves to make our event run smoothly. They were very flexible and understanding with timing of deliveries and set up time, and were very available via phone and email on the days leading up to the wedding to make sure everything went as planned. A lot of other venues I looked at only give you around 6 hours of rental time - the factory luxe gives you the whole day which was a huge stress relief as far as setting up and tearing down a wedding. The space itself is a great mix of new remodeled decor and the vintage brewery style. Highly recommended! read more

Fun location at colorful and enchanting historic Rainer Brewery! I attended a Seattle Uncorked Event there. The owner David was very inviting and thoughtful. The venue has some unique features in the main room, including an adorably quaint stage and a floor with a larger section of fantastic wood and a smaller section of quality stone tile--nice textures. If you go to Factory Luxe, be sure to take your camera. You'll want to capture the uniqueness and colors that make up the building landscape. read more
