I used to hate dance, I came here and now I think I love it lol. Shout out to Miss Aundrea she's the best!

I have been bringing my 2 year old here for 3 weeks now and we both absolutely love it! My daughter talks about dance class every day leading up to it. We are taking the Creative Movement class with Miss Aundrea and she is absolutely wonderful. So patient and kind with the kiddos and my daughter loves her! Also big shout out to the other staff and Maya at the front desk, everyone is so friendly. I love that I get to join in the class as well and participate. My daughter is learning so much in each class as well like letters, colors and more. Worth every penny and we are so excited to continue these classes. Highly recommend! read more

Everyone who works here is absolutely amazing. They are patient, have great teaching strategies such as positive reinforcement for the 3-5 age range, and a great makeup policy. Maya has given my daughter a terrific amount of comfort and care to my daughter when she is feeling overwhelmed and feeling her age (3). Ms. Aundrea is energetic and engaged with the kiddos and happy and upbeat. I would definitely recommend the movement dance studio because of the sincerity in their customer service. My only suggestion is to slightly lower prices, as it is pretty spendy and quite a commitment for a 3 and 4 year old. read more

From the moment we walked into the doors, this studio has been genuinely warm and welcoming to us. Which is so rare to find in Vegas. This place is a hidden gem!! My two girls have been dancing here for about 6 months and it has been nothing but positive in every way. My 2 year old looks forward to her dance class after a long week. And my 4 year old surprised me with her joy, talent, and passion for all kinds of dance! They both have gained SO much more confidence and have the best memories in the studio. The Movement Dance Experience is our home away from home. The owners and all dance instructors are generous, caring, supportive, and kind. My grandbabies have been attending for over five years, and their development into gracious, kind, and talented dancers has been amazing! They also added adult dance classes, and my dreams of being a dancer (that I had since a kid, but never got to do) have been realized beyond compare. Just this past weekend I was dancing at a rock concert and incorporating some of the moves taught by my dance classes, and the lead singer called me up, requested my name, and proceeded to tell everyone that the entire band couldn't keep their eyes off me, my dancing was so incredible. We absolutely love TMDE. My daughter has been going since before she was two. In the beginning my kiddo had a bit of separation anxiety. The instructors took that with stride. Now she listens to her teacher, has a bit more confidence, and Is a bit more patient. She's 3.5 so she has her bad days but that's to be expected at her age. You just roll with it and the teachers are very good at rolling with it too! Try a class and bring a book so you can have some me time while your kid gets their wiggles out! read more

I don't even know where to start. I have never posted a negative review in my life and I'm almost 60. In fact, I go out of my way to leave positive reviews for people. Everything went well for the first few months. It was when we were required to leave our children in their care for recital rehearsal that things went bad. Parents were not allowed in. First off, they lost my friends daughter. She was found in the dressing room by Mandy, the owner. An apology could have sufficed but they lied about it. Said she was never lost and went on a rant about how how horrible her mother was for accusing them. When her Mom asked for a tour of where the children were for rehearsal they finally agreed but said her daughter could not go with her because she'd be rehearsing. My friend said that was unacceptable. She wanted her to show her where she was. They then let her know that her daughter could not be In the recital and they were not allowed on property for recital or at the studio. I pulled my granddaughter out of the recital at that point. They denied the whole thing. Sent out emails that were completely un business like. Unbeknownst to them, we were sent a picture of the room where her daughter was lost and it was identified by her daughter. She had already described items around her before we got the picture and it matched. When she left the rehearsal she got in the car and told them she was alone and scared. That Miss Mandy had found her. Next, my granddaughter came out of rehearsal looking confused, she was overheated and had boogers dried on her nose. She still had her water bottle with her and it was unopened. I asked if they offered her water and she said no. She is unable to open a water bottle unless the top has been twisted to crack the seal. I let them know what Kaylee had said and how she looked. They went totally on the offensive. NEVER showed any compassion for Kaylee or asked how she was. They just went on about how much water they had there. Next, I was told her outfit and accessories would be mailed out with a tracking number. Not only did they not have tracking, they put letter postage on a priority envelope and I had to pay 20.74 to pick it up. This followed by two months to get her ballet pictures and thumb drive. We were told it was mailed three separate times. The photos were ready two days after Fathers Day and I received them today. It's sad because the girls really loved their teacher and classes. Some accountability, compassion for the girls and better communication could have had things end differently. I would not recommend anyone bringing their child here. read more

We fell in LOVE and this place has so much to offer if you are a parent that truly wants your child to learn dance. It was so hard to choose which classes to enroll in as every single teacher was great! My daughter comes home excited after each class ready to show off what she had just learned that day. read more

My daughter started off with the Creative Movements class. It's for kids 18months and I'm not sure what the age limit is. It's meant to start them off until they can follow instructions by themselves (or so I assume). Once my daughter turned 3, we started doing the Storybook Ballet classes, which she loved! She was smiling the whole time, and was able to keep engaged. The cost is pretty reasonable at $65 a month, and the staff is extremely friendly. read more

So my daughter has been going to ballet class here for a few months and truthfully it has not been the best experience. My daughter age six has never been able to fully understand the instructor and for a few weeks that her main instructor was out we had another teacher take over. After the previous instructor came back my daughter was out of no where, uncomfortable returning. She refuses in going back with the exception if I could please be by her side which again is very un normal of her. I have reached out to see if there could be an accommodation for a different class and if I could be in the art class as she previously tried it and had a panic attack, but the place pretty much said no and because of the contract we are forced to pay for 6 weeks it's like they are saying either force her or either way we are getting paid. The place seems more interested in the money they gain out of this then the experience of my daughter and doing nothing to make her feel at ease. I will be letting every parent I know about this dance facility and how it's not worth taking your child here. read more

The dance teachers here were great. The reason for the 1 star review (should be 0) is due to their customer service and poor business practices. Staff could not take constructive feedback and decided to lash out to a parent with a valid concern of overpricing tickets for a dance recital. When I asked for a refund for my fees the company took 13 days to respond and decided that I will not receive a refund and threw false accusations of harassment towards me. 10 out of 10 do not bring your child to this place as their customer service towards parents is horrendous. read more

My 4 yo had been going to a larger studio in town for over a year and we were thinking about stopping dance all together until we found this studio. Miss Michelle is amazing and is so patient with the little kids! I bought my son to try out Jazz Hip Hop last week, the staff is very nice and full of energy. However, I don't appreciate that they charge you $10 to do a trial on a day where they take a 30 minute freaking test. I'm paying for my child to DANCE. Not sit there without even a blank sheet of paper to doodle on while everyone else is taking a test. Yes it's just $10 but it's still fraud. You should let people wanting to try out your classes know what's a good day to come in to get the whole feel. If they know there's no boys in the class, they should also let you know that in case your make child isn't comfortable with just girls. The only class they have for all boys is starting at an older age... which is a huge let down, they should be more open when it comes to boys, dancing & their ages because it's art and because of the stereotypes that are said because of MALES in DANCE. My son didn't end up liking the class, we left halfway through it after he started crying when he had to go back in from the break. When we asked him why he didn't like it, he said "I liked my friends. They helped me, the teacher didn't." I'm sad he didn't like the class because he LOVES to dance but I didn't like how they weren't honest and the teacher excluded him while they were doing a test. Hopefully they fix these things, because I'm sure I'm not the first or last this has happened to read more
