I love that I discovered this place. I have been going to Lucky's for years and did not realize this existed. I came around the holiday period and they offer fun festive holiday drinks. By the time we arrived, they were no longer selling small bites. The entertainment for the night was a live band. I enjoyed a few songs and then ended up night upstairs at lucky 13.

We loved the intimate speakeasy vibes of the Mudd Room. A somewhat hidden gem connected to Lucky 13's. Antique phone with "secret access" code was a fun start. Dim, swanky atmosphere with limited seating. We had a short wait at 6pm for a cozy booth with a great view of the live jazz band there on a Friday night. My partner is an avid bourbon hunter and enjoyed the selection including Pappy Van Winkle and Blanton's. The menu includes small plates and dessert. We were impressed with the food especially for the value. Great service too! We'll be back!

I attended The Mudd Room on a Wednesday during the comedy sessions. It was so much fun! I loved the lighting and the cozy feeling the place had. I definitely want to go back. It got pretty busy and was hard to get staff's attention as the space is a bit tight and long in length. The staff are super friendly. I had a flatbread and some tasty seasonal cocktails!

The atmosphere at the Mudd Room is terrific. It's great for a romantic date or a chill night with friends. This is everything a speakeasy should be. I would give Mudd Room a five if my drink ("Ma Barker") was good but it was pretty strong and not the greatest cocktail...I wish I chose something else. I was surprised it wasn't good because the waitress recommended it to us. It had an after taste of cough syrup. The service was not the best either...we got there and weren't greeted by anyone and it was a little awkward as we were just standing there a bit/not knowing what to do (no signs indicating seat yourself). We ended up finding a random uncleaned table and sat down. The waitress came over to clear the tables and then came back again asking if we were ready to order. However, we didn't even have menus yet...She didn't really check up on us after we got our drinks either. This might be an under-staffed issue but still...I expected more service-wise since other speakeasies I've been to usually have great service. Still giving this a 4/5 despite the gross drink and crappy service because the live music and ambiance were great.

This place is nice and easy-shush.. Don't tell everyone. Drinks are good-cheaper if you don't get a signiture drink- but still worth it. Jody our server was so pleasant- I really was expecting a snotty attitude from this place- but not at all! Another surprise.. the food is really, really good. Order the escargo, tenderloin sliders and the tempura vegtables- our food came out of the kitchen super fast and fresh and hot! I will bring friends and family by to expierence this place. The band was just setting up when we were leaving (7:30 pm). Would love to be here for the music some night.

This place is a hidden little gem! It is in the basement of lucky's and I am so glad my hubby found it. We went there last night for a little date night and the whole thing was just wonderful. The atmosphere is dark and unique. They have a pretty good sized drink menu. I am boring and just had a glass of Syrah (it was very good). My hubby had an old fashioned. He is picky about his old fashioned and he was happen. He was also impressed by the round ice ball because according to him that's then say you aren supposed to do it. We ordered the crab au gratin and the charcuterie board. Both were absolutely amazing. I tell you I could live off of this for the rest of my life. The crab au gratin is seriously one of the best things I've ever eaten. The Brie on the charcuterie board was my favorite thing on there. Before we left we had to try the absinthe because neither of us had ever tried it before. If you like black licorice definitely give it a try. I can't say that I will ever drink it again but now I've at least tried it! We definitely will be coming back to this cute little spot in the future.

Lovely speak easy - great date place with live jazz, comfy chairs, cozy booths and big fancy bathrooms. Delicious cocktails are made from freshly squeezed juices and all-natual ingredients. My husband had a greyhound and the grapefruit juice was delicious. I had one of the specialty cocktails - spicy margarita, and it was heavenly, and had a nice kick. They have a decent food menu as well. We tried casun chicken wings and they were good.

Since we didn't have a reservation, we arrived early and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. From the moment we walked in, we loved everything about the place. The décor is beautiful, the ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff was fantastic. The menu offers so many great options, and the cocktails were even better than expected. Our server, Rosie, provided excellent recommendations, and we genuinely loved everything we ordered. They also offer a great happy hour until 6 PM, which is a nice bonus. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I highly recommend giving it a try. One small note: We didn't realize a 20% gratuity had already been added to our bill. That's partially on us for not catching it on the credit card slip, (we tipped in cash) but I do think it would be helpful if servers mentioned it when presenting the check. I typically prefer to tip in cash, so on our $62 tab, we ended up leaving a $34 tip. Even with that little surprise, we'll absolutely be back. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all worth another visit!

Great little local spot in Saint Paul…read more There's a lot to like about Estelle so I'll try to keep it to what stands out: 1. The menu is wonderful, and the food comforting. The peri peri chicken was surprisingly spicy. I like spicy foods and it was teetering on a bit too hot for me, but I enjoyed the flavors and the dishes as a whole that we sampled. 2. The cocktails are divine. I had two old fashioneds and they were amongst some of the best I've had. 3. The service is impeccable. Friendly, well paced, and professional. 4. The ambiance is really comfortable. I liked that we weren't rushed, and had a really well paced meal in a nice environment. Overall I'd love to return someday. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Everything felt really intentional and well timed. The food was outstanding. The rigatoni was a standout with an incredible sausage that was honestly to die for. Such a thoughtful touch when they brought out churro bites at the end as a thank you. Amazing food, top tier service, and a really fun but romantic atmosphere. Definitely a spot worth going out of your way for

Just note that they require a credit card to hold reservations made online. For drinks, I ordered the Papelon, which is their cane sugar drink. I remember really loving this the first time I had it. This time it was a little more tart and less sweet than I remembered, with a deep maple-y, tamarind flavor. Definitely recommend trying it. We also got a pitcher of the red sangria, which was really good. For apps, I went with the Trio de Arepitas and seafood empanadas. The trio came with shredded beef, reina pepiada (creamy chicken), and beans with plantains. Overall, it was a good way to try a few different flavors. The arepas were surprisingly filling because of the bread. The veggie linguini El Avila was also really good, with lots of fresh, crunchy vegetables. The seafood empanada was my favorite! It had a crunchy, deep purple shell with a flavorful seafood filling, and the creamy sauce was so good. Overall, I think Crasqui is worth trying, especially if you like trying different flavors and dishes. The apps are a little smaller for sharing, and the mains are pretty pricey in my opinion.

My maple cinnamon sour was delicious and worth the slightly high price. Staff were very helpful about the confusing parking situation in this area too. I was there for the music anyhow. It's a small narrow room, so the acoustics were not great for my rather basic phone to record, but it was fine for my ears. All 4 acts were good, especially FenixDion- this was my first time seeing them as a duo instead of the full band, so it was a bit mellower but still rocked. The $5 cover was definitely a bargain, but I think that deal may have been special because this was also a birthday party. I hope they bring back some eats. Seasonal menu that changes fairly often but the burger sticks around. We got a couple things to split: - Grilled celery root was really good. Perfect texture and lots of flavor while not being "earthy". That cashew miso cauliflower puree is one of the best, smoothest dips I've ever had. - Bread & Beets: Basically a really good beet panzanella. Beets were nicely marinated to get rid of any "dirt" flavor. My wife hates beets and liked this one. I'd probably skip it next time just because there is so much other good stuff. - Karaage: Some of the best karaage I've ever had. Super tender chicken, light breading, and really good glaze. Slaw was really good, too.

The potstickers were awesome but given the name of the place I was surprised that the real standouts were the other dishes. The ribeye was perfectly marinated and tender, tossed with a variety of vegetables and stir-fried noodles. The wings were terrific and the General Tso's was perfect. Don't sleep on the cucumbers either...smoky, spicy, and sweet, with peanuts and sauce. My favorite potstickers were the Beef & Carrots and the Kimchi Pork.
