Walleye with wild rice and veggies

We've been here a few times, specifically to see "Comedy Through the Chaos". Tonight was our first time getting a full meal (usually we go straight for dessert!) and my airline chicken and his walleye were both awesome! Highly recommend this spot, it's such a VIBE! And this show is incredible! Miss Shannan Paul is a MUST SEE, and the next show is in Sept

Been here a few times now to watch live music Great sound system ! Can't comment on the food but cocktails are very strong , pass on the wine- seems like it's not fresh and bottles may have been open for a while Service is not the best here, very slow servers and not the friendliest If they didn't have great music I probably wouldn't come here

I attended a dinner show at the Crooners Supper Club. It was a history of Rondo, it was delightful! The room was spacious with lots of seating. My guest and I were the youngest by a few decades but we were welcomed in with warm arms and had a great time nonetheless. We ordered the lemon chicken and the risotto. There was a large crowd and only 1 or 2 servers so we were patient with the delivery of our meals. When they did arrive they came out and well seasoned. My lemon chicken dish leaned on the saltier and my acidic side so if that's not your vibe I would skip this meal! It also came with a healthy portion of mashed potatoes and a side of steamed green beans. Truthfully, I am not a fan of green beans but these were delicious! The server was very kind.

"Crooners Supper Club" is a very proper description of this place! They serve classic supper club fare like steak and bread baskets, priced for the premium consumer of such things. And there is crooning! That is to say, the main room is an auditorium with a stage and restaurant tables. Each time I've been here has been for the purpose of seeing a musical performance. They'll have big band music, jazz combos, and even the more sophisticated type of rock bands. I get the impression that the ownership are most excited about the music venue side of the business, rather than the restaurant side. The performances on the main stage are not just incidental; you purchase a ticket and are there to pay attention to them. There are additional rooms outside the main auditorium, but they also can have performances. I think that if you want to come to Crooners for food and not music, you can do that in one of the rooms that doesn't have a concert taking place. The food we've had has been average-to-above-average. We had a charcuterie board that was of unremarkable quality, but I've had a New York strip steak that was expensive but met my expectations. My vegan friend usually doesn't spot much on a supper club menu to meet his needs, but he really liked the Greens and Grains salad. We were all satisfied with our drinks. I think this is a really nice place for music. The bookings show really good taste, and they've worked hard to create an atmosphere that feels like a chic, old-fashioned urban nightclub. If you're coming here for dinner and aren't interested in music, I'm not sure you'll get the best impression. But as a music experience, complemented by food and drink of this style, it's plenty satisfying.

2nd time eating here during a music show. Food was pretty good but prices are crazy expensive!! I had the Crooners burger made with brisket and beef with a brioche bun and fries, very good and flavorful priced $25.00, my fiancé had shrimp scampi and loved how light and flavorful it was but disappointing for $30.00 that it does not come with any garlic bread, friend had the cobb salad and liked it but said it could use a tad more dressing. I like that they offer food but unsure if it is worth the prices they ask.

You go here for the music, so the food isn't the draw. So, the fact that the food is good, but not great, is fine. My wife and I attended the Linda Purl session for a bit of nostalgia her role in Happy Days. She was just ok too, but we had a good time. Cocktails are pretty standard Supper Club options, but well executed. I had The Sinatra and my wife had the Mother's Little Helper, which we both enjoyed. Good strong drinks. For entrees, my wife went with the French Dip, which she said was good. I had the Smoked Duck, which was a bit overcook, but still good. As I said, I wouldn't go here just to eat, but will gladly go when there's an act I want to see in a nice venue.

We had tickets for the Belvedere tent. We shared an appetizer and ordered a few drinks. Service was friendly. Food was good. Nothing to knock your socks off but better than what we expected. Overall a good experience. If your tickets are in the Belvedere, dress for the weather!

We went for a comedy show in the Dunsmore room, super cute spot with great food! Staff was super friendly and we really enjoyed the show!

Ask the Community - Crooners Supper Club

How do I make a dinner reservation? We have tickets for the June 10 7:30 pm show and would also like to take time to have dinner.

Your show ticket is your dinner reservation.

Have tickets to the Sinatra event. Wondering what to wear, how swanky is this place?

I can't speak to the attire for a special event, but I've been there numerous times and you see all types of attire. It's nice, but not particularly swanky. I've worn jeans and I've worn khakis. You'll see women in dresses all the way down to…

The cocktails were always good but have gotten even better. The Is Your Real Name Fonzi is my fave cocktail to pair with one of their cigars. Same with the food. Upon entering we were greeted by a woman who was clearly wearing multiple hats as she seemed rushed, a bit off putting and quite frankly distracted. It was Juneteenth the middle of the afternoon and there were maybe 6 people at the bar and one other table besides ours with 2 diners. The person seating us was also our server and the bartender. Menu is small but the items we ordered were all fabulous! Every single one! The collard green dip with cornbread pita chips was absolutely delicious - Think spinach artichoke dip but soul food! The salmon croquettes with lemon herb aioli and arugula salad that accompanied were fresh and light! The catfish sandwich with fries was hot, crispy and well seasoned with fresh lettuce and tomato on a perfectly tender brioche bun. I want to return so bad for the food but it was clear this host, server, bartender and partial cook was pulled in too many directions and that severely compromised our service and gave us stand off energy as first time patrons. I looked it up and she is actually one of the owners. She came across as irritated especially once we didn't order any alcoholic drinks first and then very short and curt following. What took the cake was her telling us she was leaving for the day and needed to close our tab while we were eating. Didn't ask did we want to order anything else and there was another server taking her place and an empty restaurant! My partner had to put his sandwich down wipe his hands pull out his wallet while she stood there impatiently. Then proceeded to linger around hugging her regular bar patrons. It was clear this is a "regulars" spot and if you're not one you're rolling the dice on the service you may or may not get. We were patient and didn't complain because it was Juneteenth and our intention to support black restaurants all weekend. I have many previous years in the industry as a cook, host and GM and I was stunned to know that she was one of the owners when I looked it up. Had planned to return for live music but unfortunately the off putting energy and unwelcoming vibe may have squashed that possibility. I hope they improve service because the food is delicious and deserves attention from a larger and more sophisticated audience.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only issue was I didnt understand the tab at first. In a digital world where we dont get to see the actual tab, I had to ask why it was the price it was. She told me tax, but when I got the actual receipt, it was actually because they added gratuity.
