I have had some service work done there a hand full of times over that past couple of years with issues that have come up with my car. It seems as though there's a communication break down between what is said by you and the person at the service desk and the guys in the shop. I have had to have some brake work done where I had requested that the two brake lines that go to the rear wheels to be completely replaced only to find out later with another visit to the shop that they were only partially replaced. Also I had requested to have both my fuel lines the send and receive lines completely replaced only to find out later with another visit to the shop that they were only partially replaced. So it would appear that they only do half of the agreed upon work. However they do get you in sometimes without an appointment and they do know how to fix your alignment issues that you may have fairly well. I think though that for a city the size of Stratford the $95 dollar an hour shop labour rate is a bit much!!! And it does seem that a lot of people that go there have to return a week or so later to have the same issue they were having addressed again. It's almost like their charging twice for the same job. As is in my case with both my brake and fuel lines. Recently when I was in there I had them replaced an evap sensor for me that was causing the check engine light to come on. And that's when they told me that my one fuel line was leaking and needed to be repaired. And that's when they informed me that it was only partially replaced when I had my car in for the brake work. Which at that time is when I had requested that both fuel lines be completely replaced. So once again I was charged twice for a job that should have been done right the first time. Also I don't think the service technician followed the proper steps when dealing with issues related to the fuel system. Meaning that before you start you need to disconnect the battery. Then remove the fuel pump fuse from under the hoods fuse box and finally remove the gas cap to relieve any pressure within the fuel system. And you need to do this before starting to take everything apart. Which wasn't done, because if it was then all of my presets on my radio would have been cleared and reset. Which is why I believe the check engine light is still on. When disconnecting the battery it resets or reboots your vehicles onboard computer. Which should have cleared the check engine light. So my problem with the check engine light is still present. Not good!!! So in closing just make sure you know what your getting and also get it in writing. Request to get a written estimate. read more
