They took the old defunct Extra Innings Woburn and renovated the space with new cages, indoor turf and lighting. The facility is extremely well lit, which is a major plus, as many of the indoor baseball businesses in the area have poor lighting. It is easy to book tunnel time online and their rates are competitive. The owners take a no frills approach to the business. There is no pro shop or vending machines to speak of. The owners love of the game is apparent in everything they do, from running the center to coaching kids in their AAU program. They also feature many quality instructors with impressive credentials. The A's proprietors, Brian and Scott Blumsack also run an AAU program out of the Woburn location. There are 7 teams from 10u to 18u. The program started 2 years ago in this location. They play in highly competitive tournaments throughout the summer and are very involved in the development of their players. If your child has the talent, they can help them get to the next level.

One restroom for the girls and it is not kept up. The space is uncomfortable and very crowded when you wait for your child's class. I will not get into specifics on all the reasons I pulled my child out of the class, but I will say cleanliness was the main reason. I asked for a partial refund and clearly didn't want a full refund as my child did attend some of the classes. I was met with emails from the owner on how following policy I should not get a refund. She emailed way too personally on how I should not give a negative review and how it would hurt her business. Again, I will not go into details, but feel that she should have given me a "partial" refund on the classes now missed and under the circumstances, not follow her policy. She sent me a $30 sign up fee and returned it to me only. No partial refund and I tore up her check as I feel on principal as I should have received what I asked for which was not a lot of money at all. I was given feedback from Tumble Kids on how cleanliness is a priority for them and how many times they clean etc. If they indeed do that, how come the lobby stinks? Come on! I was told it's because it is a gym and gyms smell. Seriously? I have been to many gyms with sweaty adults and the gym does not smell! Even the doors coming in are full of grimy hand prints. Windex them! Deodorize the lobby. The play area for little kids looks like you will catch something. Like a grimy daycare. I will never be back, will never recommend and shame on Tumble kids for not giving a partial refund under the circumstances. I am being very kind in my review for not mentioning more as my intention is not to hurt any business but bring awareness of any customer paying for services and not getting a clean environment. I will add that the teachers are nice and the kids do enjoy the gymnastic part of it. But in all reality, the gym is way too small to accommodate the amount of kids they have in the gym at one time. Each teacher tries to organize her group and teach among other kids jumping around them in other classes. I'm a huge fan of The Office and the Spinners were advertising an Office Trivia Night featuring an appearance by Leslie David Baker who played Stanley on the show. There was also a BBQ buffet included in the price. The BBQ was ok, not bad for a baseball game, but nothing to write home about. Burgers, dogs (with no grill marks), ribs, pulled pork and pulled chicken, corn on the cob, beans, but no corn bread. The trivia was fun too, some nice and easy questions and some real difficult ones. We didn't finish in the top 3, but we still had a good time. The promotions department really dropped the ball on the appearance by Stanley. He was there, but not for the trivia. He was up on the concourse and you needed a special ticket to see him, the $40 Office Trivia ticket wasn't good enough. No one from the trivia company or the Spinners mentioned this. By the time we realized this the Spinners were sold out (those were the words the employee who turned us away from the line used). It seems the Spinners are desperate for people to come that they have no problem misleading people into paying $40 for a single a baseball game. There was no value there on this particular night. Save yourself and check out the Portland Sea Dogs or Pawtucket Red Sox for the same or lower cost and a higher level of baseball.
